Yes! But at the same time, I went to a meet and greet recently, and they honestly act like you are their friend. “Hi! How are you? What’s your name? Did you enjoy your day?” And I told them about a gift I got them, they had some questions about it. I hugged them and link smiled and held my shoulder while I hugged Rhett. It was so pleasant. I encourage anyone who has the opportunity to meet them to participate. It’s wonderful. These men are truely spectacular and down to earth and I think that’s what makes them so awesome to all of us. They don’t participate in that celebrity crap a lot of you tubers get lost in. They’re buddies with jimmy fallon but rarely bring it up or care as if it’s some big thing. I’m sure they’re proud and all but they don’t brag about their achievements, jokingly or not. People that do that seem arrogant after a while, and these two have yet to behave in that way at all. They’re just 2 dudes having fun together and making money from a business they built together. It’s truely beautiful.
That's like when I watch Mixer or Twitch. You have these people on camera and audio, talking about their lives, what games they like, and here I am just typing stuff out that really has no meaning to them lol. It's so one-sided and yet somehow it works. I guess you have to be entertaining in order to keep that one-sided relationship going. Not to say they don't care about us, I am sure they do, but in a different capacity than what we might feel for them because we know so much about them.
Love Rhett’s take on the sentimentality p*rn vs introspective sharing. Earbiscuits never feels cheap, and I always appreciate their openness. I always look forward to sunday morning EB.

But recently, in 2018-2019, I've been going through a lot of issues mentally, and this podcast is exactly like a Sunday buttery treat, the warmth, comfort, and relaxation I look forward to all week. i have loved the evolution of ear biscuits. i enjoy this show perhaps slightly more than GMM. there were some biscuits i did not listen to because i didn't care about the guest. eventually i did go back and listen to them all and it was cool, but i always preferred the eps with no guests. i think where you have arrived with this show is how it's meant to be. congratulations and thank you for 200!!

I remember all the comments you would get from your interviewee's about how in-depth your research and questions were. I know how difficult and tedious doing research is even when you enjoy the subject - much less if you aren't really interested in it. I found GMM two years ago, before I wasn't big on watching RUclips, though I wish I had been. I immediately ended up watching every episode. When I heard about Ear Biscuits I was like "Meh, podcast, not my thing", but then I listened to one and then another and another and felt like I was learning so much more about these hilarious people that I watch daily. I personally am glad you've changed from the interviews, though I have gone back and listened to many of those as well. I much more enjoy the conversations with just the two of you. Catching up on old ones I never finished and I think I speak for most everyone, when I say that we are here for you. I mean MOST of us are dedicated followers. I know I watch GMM and More every single morning, I never miss an LTAT, I love Josh's new Sunday show, I follow all of R&L as well as Rhett and Link's social media, etc. So when it comes to it JUST being you guys on Ear Biscuits? I am all for it! I watch these shows because of you, I don't really care about guests on EB and all that. I just like hearing about your lives, what you've been up to, funny stories, etc. I'm personally glad you changed it to be JUST you two!
I can't believe I have been listening for so long! I personally prefer the just Rhett and Link episodes to the guest / interview ones, so I like the current EB format best. . . .I agree that it does kind of "take the place" of the old Rhett and Link GMM format, which is ultimately what I like about the Mythical shows - I like Rhett and Link. In my day to day life I have often found myself mentioning things discussed on GMM/ EB/ etc. For example, on one old GMM episode there was a conversation about escalators in Target and I remember a comment Rhett made every time I go to Target (something along the lines of "there's that escalator that Rhett was so impressed by on that old episode" - ETA GMM season 1, ep. 22). Rhett’s talking about schmidts deodorant. I personally LOVE it! I always believed that as a girl, that deodorants made my pits smell worse, but then also there’d be times when I needed it and I became dependent on it (so slightly less armpit smell, blended it with whatever fragrance . Started using Schmidt’s rose and vanilla deodorant and my armpits LITERALLY do not smell, AT ALL. It’s kind of insane because I literally dealt with stinky pits for YEARA
That's the same brand (and one of the only) that works for me! Certain ones are harder than others, though, so I can see Rhett's problem. Most recently I've used the Cedar and Juniper scent and it is smoother than others. Rhett might like it, since it smells like wood.
I love the raw honesty of Ear Biscuits! It’s a reminder that you guys who, let’s be honest, are idolized and looked up to are just normal people navigating the human experience just like the rest of us. For me personally, it gives me a sense that I’m not so different. That I’m not alone. That the universe and the beings in it are truly connected and the world really is a small place. Thank you!

Actually, some of the most real moments on this show have come when you weren't necessarily discussing a personal matter that had come up. You guys can talk about just about anything and seque into some very open moments. In addition - you must realize that if you did not share really important personal matters in your lives when they do come up, you would both grow increasingly distant from your audience over time and eventually you'd be locked into only the most shallow of formats. So I think you've been wise in what you've chosen (and how often) to share and genuine in doing so. I don't feel like more (or less) distant from Rhett with his honest discussions of the significance of therapy in his life, than from Link with the major events in his family life that he has shared. And I feel like the connection I have because of your willingness to be open is both real and valuable. So - thanks. You can run a business AND be a real person - you know?
I don't like big mugs, my tea or coffee goes cold before I can get too far in to it 😭 Most comments are about not liking guests, but I'm bummed there aren't more. The other youtubers are kind of whatever but I loved the random people, the voice actor, I think there was a beekeeper or something, those were amazing. Real people telling their stories

Eat Biscuits introduced me to so many youtubers and for me to think about them from a different perspective its kinda sad that, that part of this series has come to an end as im sure it opened a lot of people up to some of these youtubers who weve only know from reputation or the character they play on youtube vs who they really are. im sure it took a lot more work to schedule the guests and come up with questions and do research..... but at the same time you guys have a whole crew of people now

Actually, some of the most real moments on this show have come when you weren't necessarily discussing a personal matter that had come up. You guys can talk about just about anything and seque into some very open moments. In addition - you must realize that if you did not share really important personal matters in your lives when they do come up, you would both grow increasingly distant from your audience over time and eventually you'd be locked into only the most shallow of formats. So I think you've been wise in what you've chosen (and how often) to share and genuine in doing so. I don't feel like more (or less) distant from Rhett with his honest discussions of the significance of therapy in his life, than from Link with the major events in his family life that he has shared. And I feel like the connection I have because of your willingness to be open is both real and valuable. So - thanks. You can run a business AND be a real person - you know?

Most comments are about not liking guests, but I'm bummed there aren't more. The other youtubers are kind of whatever but I loved the random people, the voice actor, I think there was a beekeeper or something, those were amazing. Real people telling their stories
