One of my favorite things about Tim heidecker, and one of his biggest contributions to comedy in my opinion, isn’t even how amazing and fleshed out all of his characters are. It’s that they’re ALL called Tim heidecker, they all dress the same but they’re all totally different people. From the tim in Tim and Eric, to the Tim in on cinema, to the Tim in his standup, to Tim in real life, even how they act in public interviews is almost its own character and thing like the red lobster bit, because how they talk in interviews and talk shows is different then how they talk on Tim and Eric, yet it’s still not how they are in real life either
Tim reading the list of Joe Estevez's movies for 4 minutes straight is the most abrasive thing he's ever done. He should've been prosecuted for that alone.

I am realizing now that shit really hit the fan after Tim’s blood clots. The slow progression from tame movie review show to all out insanity and psychotic episodes can be explained by this. His first aggression and anger toward Gregg began literally after that episode where he shared the news. According to the thrombosis organization blood clots can affect the passage of oxygen to the amygdala and can permanently cause damage to that area of the brain which can change mood and violent behavioral conditions. If real life Tim knew this and used it as the basis for the future premise of OCATC then he is more of a genius then I previously believed.
Maybe we are blood clot-induced hallucinations and Tim is still in the middle of filming an early episode, caught in a brief fugue. We are all just a transient twinkle in his briefly distracted eye back in 2013.
Makes perfect sense that’s why he’s constantly searching for a miracle cure for his general health issues. His brains looking for an answer it can’t find. Kinda makes Tim a pretty tragic character. Also makes it even more horrible what those 20 kids did to themselves at his expense

Yeah the series of blood clots to his brain (aka strokes) almost certainly caused ischemia and ultimately death of brain tissue. Could definitely explain his ever worsening literacy as well as mood changes etc. Plus if you're prone to blood clots like that he may very well be continuing to have strokes but he's so drug addled it'd be hard to tell. That's my way too in-depth head canon for the overall arc of the show lol
