As a 34 year old man from the Netherlands, it is wonderfull to see two grown men talking about their inner workings and emotions. The thirty something struggle to give direction in your life can be quite difficult. These very personal and intimate videos really help me out to not be afraid to be happy with the way I've turned out. Thanks you for the inspiration and keep up the wonderful work. It's great to enjoy the friendship between you guys.
link really hit the nail on the head for me. i wish i had the drive to self improve instead of everytime i hit a plateau i say "well this is me" AKA in Links words "I'll just take a nap"
He’s innocent and non egotistical, experienced yet very inexperienced at the same time, genuinely just is himself in general something to try to be yourself
Please organize the videos into a playlist. You’ll get all the views from me as I fall asleep to these. Also it’ll help with the disorganized uploads since you guys are backlogged
I love their podcasts cause it's just them talking and the way the camera is positioned makes me feel like I'm sitting there with them (which is probably why they did it that way)
Listening to how you speak about self improvement along with the context of the lost years episodes, makes everything come together a lot better for me. We are all constantly learning and growing- especially when we allow ourselves to meet and learn from others- and I feel like opening ourselves up to that growth is so important.
This was such a good episode. Thank you for your honesty, transparency, and openness. I have dealt with crippling anxiety and have learned that a lot of it comes from having an unhealed inner child (childhood wounds) and also rewriting your narrative based on what happened in your past. This isn't a cure-all but has personally helped me leaps and bounds and I use this method when I coach or counsel people. I wish both you so many good things!!
Hey guys... my name is James Pisano. I'm the creative director for Blue Moon Studios. I recently heard you guys gave us this shout out, and we are absolutely THRILLED! I love all of your stuff. Thanks again for the shout out! We would love to work together on something... what's the best way to reach you?
I think this is the legit Blue Moon Studios RUclips account. It was created 14 years ago, so it’s WAY too old for someone to have just made it as a troll to get Rhett and Link to talk to them. I hope y’all planned something cool! Maybe a series of RUclips ads for a product? RUclips ads are the future of advertising for sure because you hit more than just whatever your target demo is, you’ll reach literally everyone
@Not Mick Blotters we make commercials for “as seen on TV” companies. We did the Snuggie years ago, and have gone on to make spots for hundreds of other products.
Im so inspired by rhett and link. Their podcsst relating to their agnostic stories inspired me. Its time to relate my friends. Its not all scary. I am comforted by this whole experience. Stay tuned my fellow real and true human beings. Much love sent out always💕💕
Every night I go to sleep listening to your Ear Biscuts... Tonight was particularly great because I flossed just before had. As I do every night. The floss wave is real.
that made me feel so bad, i would totally love to go on a mule to the bottom of grand canyon😩 they’ll realize one day how amazing that opportunity is!!
13:00 those mules know the trail so well that you will only be a passenger; you won't be the one "driving," you are but a package. I'm pretty sure those mules make those trips twice or three times per day, every day.
Rhett said "Show me a cat that can do that" There was a family that was moving to a new home and their cat had disappeared beforehand. The day came for them to leave and their cat hadn't come back yet, so they waited as long as they could. The cat didn't show up and they had to leave. About 6 months went by and their cat shows up at their new home. Their new home was about 600 miles away. There are a lot of these stories where cats find their owners over huge distances. 😸
I've been listening to your podcast nonstop these days, and I would never in a million years think I would hear you guys talk about Ariel Camacho and his music 😂 it's so funny to me, but it's great, glad you came upon such good music. You're doing great

I personally listen to Ear Biscuits more than watch, because it’s far easier to listen along while cleaning or going for a walk than it is to sit down and watch.
I agree with Link. If you didn’t hit someone up about their birthday within 48 hours, then just don’t do it. It seems super insincere beyond that point, like even if it DID cross your mind, you still put it off until it was a convenience to you. Coming from someone who hasn’t celebrated their birthday in like 6+ years. You either catch them on the day of, or a courtesy grab the day after, or you missed it. No question.
A quote my mentors say is "No amount of guilt can change the past and no amount of anxiety can change the future. Focus on what you can control (habits, mindset) and don't worry about the rest" A great book on mindset is 'Mindset the New Psychology of Success' by Carol S Dweck
My dog is only ever in the truck when we go hiking or when we go to work at a horse stable. It's a pretty small town, and it's pretty clear that my dog always knows if we're going to play or going to work or going towards home. When I leave her home she also knows the difference between leaving on foot and leaving in the vehicle. Im also frequently taking new trails where I start in daylight and return to the trail head after dark. My dog always knows how to lead me back to the truck if I'm lost (which is more often than not), even if we're on a trail system we've never seen before. I don't know what there is to learn about how dogs navigate and interpret things but I believe there's a lot to learn from trusting a dog and listening to their behavioral cues. The dogs living in the moment is very insightful, but I think there's more to the intellectual ability of dogs than we give them credit for.
58:52 lol, I thought about that yesterday, when I took my cat to the vet. I don't think he questions whether the vehicle is sentient or not, he just accepts that we are moving fast. My cat does what Rhett was describing when we reach my village; he gets up, meows, sniffs and wants out of his carry case.
Every few weeks my cat and I will road trip to visit my parents. She just sleeps on the front seat and starts to meow at the SAME spot about 4 blocks away from either end EVERY TIME RHETT 😂😂
Cats actually recognize territory the same way as dogs essentially. The mark a neighborhood. Thats why if you want to have an outdoor cat you should let them in your yard and watch them for a week or two before letting them actually into the neighborhood so they have time to adjust to the scents and are able to find their way back. (I am a dog owner i just felt like that information should clarified
My Catholic Highschool named their football team Pride. We didn't have last names on the jerseys just the word Pride. Everyone thought it was dumb because Pride is one of the 7 deadly sins.
I find it hilarious time and time again that I listen to Rhett and Link during my breaks from class (dental school), and I still hear about their hygiene habits. Gotta love it!!
I've always wanted to know, when the dentist or hygienist stabs dozens of holes in my mouth with a sharp metal instrument causing bleeding, why do they blame me? I always want to say that if you stab the heck out of my hand that would bleed too, but that doesn't mean something's "wrong" with my hand (other than the fresh stab wounds)... never had the guts to ask in person, but what explanation is given in dental school?
@@willoliver9960 lol I can't speak for whoever your provider is (maybe tell them to use a lighter hand), but they sink dental instruments (i.e. a probe or an explorer) into gum pockets to check on your gum health (are your gums inflamed, are they/how much are they pulling away from your teeth, is any plaque/calculus forming in those areas). So I guess it makes sense to the outsider (and I thought this too when I was usually the patient) that you're being poked, but it's really just feeling around. And if those pockets aren't clean or are inflamed, they start bleeding. And that's why the more you floss, the less you bleed. The goal is healthy, tight pink gums that are flat against your teeth. I would suggest you ask your dentist/hygienist to show you what they're doing while they're doing it (if you're not queasy! that's my number one issue with older providers - they don't really show you what's going on and then want you to trust them!) I hope that makes sense? And sorry for the long explanation!
Dogs are my favorite animals ever. My dog Biscuit-you should see her, she’s adorable; she’s a piebald red & white dachshund/deerhead chihuahua mix, she’s stunning-anyway, she has an absolutely remarkable sense of smell. One day recently we were driving home a different way than we have ever come with her. When we got close to our neighborhood, she shot up from my lap to excitedly look out the window. She could smell our neighborhood! She can always tell when we are close to home. If I say, “We’re almost to the HOUSE!” she loses it, LOL! It’s like I’m affirming what she already knows and she can barely handle how excited that makes her. It’s pretty funny. I’ve also brought her hiking with us in the mountains a few times and I’ve discovered that she will sniff the ground the whole time and can find our way back by smell alone. She tries to guide us back the exact way we came and gets upset if we deviate at all. I mean it genuinely bothers her if I move away from the path a little to avoid puddles or muddy spots. She pulls hard against the leash to try to get us back on the right path. It’s nice having her with us because I know we will never get lost. I just say, “Wanna go HOME now?” and she’s pretty much always ready. She only “tolerates” my outdoorsy-ness. 😂 Dogs are so cool, I just love them. ♥️
the bus and RV rule also applies to boats. the first time me and my brother went on a boat with a cabin(like a downstairs) he went into the bathroom and took a huge crap. the whole boat smelled horrid for the next two months
I’m glad you enjoyed Ariel Camacho, Rhett and Link! The genre of music you’re thinking of actually isn’t mariachi btw :). It’s more like blend of norteño and Banda just so you know, in case you want to find more similar music. You don’t even know how happy I was to hear you bring them up :))
I LOVE vinegar but everytime ive tried to drink it, it's unreal. (I have tried it for cramps, doesn't work for me.) It's hard to explain how it actually makes you feel. And yes... just thinking about it makes you feel sick. If you have never done it tho I totally understand..."I don't get it, why is it so bad!?!?" DON'T DO IT! Much Love Beasts 😁💚
My wife and I assume that our dog Topper (Jack Russell/Chihuahua) thinks that our Jeep is just a "fast couch". We believe this because he always cozies up the same as if he were on the furniture at home and only becomes aware of our speed when we start traveling again from a traffic light.
I floss once a day. My teeth are very close together, so I have to use a thin plastic wax like floss, but since my teeth are so close together I always pull to hard to get it between my teeth and my gum lines are receding from 'shoving the floss to far into my gums', dentist said its cause I floss to hard and to try to be careful, but I can't help it. So I figured instead of jamming floss so hard twice a day it would help to just do it once a day.
I agree with Rhett with wishing I didn’t care as much about what people think. As a kid, I tried to fit in with the crowd I was around but by doing that, I wasn’t being me.
4:11 on the topic of flossing, my hygienist told me her hack is to get a cordless waterpik and floss when you're in the shower. I do this now, and it's so much easier and I'm more inclined to do it
The singe Ariel Camacho died in a car accident in 2015 and in tribute to him, his band "Los Plebes del Rancho" named themselves "Los Plebes del Rancho De Ariel Camacho".
Wow, I made a comment on a different video about Rhetts chin but I had no idea he's self conscious about it (I'm a new mythical beast 🙄) i don't get it, he's beautiful with or without the beard!

I saw Link at a John Mayer concert in September, he was with his kids and he looked pretty stressed out, so I didn’t say hi but I was really tempted 😂

So I figured instead of jamming floss so hard twice a day it would help to just do it once a day.
thats a good flossophy you got there link
It's spelled philflossophy
Well played ahaha
Philosophy
If I could change one thing about myself, I would make myself omnipotent. That's one thing. I am not currently omnipotent, and then I would be.
“I’ve never crapped in a diaper, but I did shart on the way to Dollywood once” priceless
I agree with Rhett with wishing I didn’t care as much about what people think. As a kid, I tried to fit in with the crowd I was around but by doing that, I wasn’t being me.
Cut to link getting jealous of Rhett going to Palm Springs after he explains his epic grande canyon adventure he has planned. LOL.
4:11 on the topic of flossing, my hygienist told me her hack is to get a cordless waterpik and floss when you're in the shower. I do this now, and it's so much easier and I'm more inclined to do it
That got deep very quickly for you two clowns. Liked it though. Very open. Very human.
The singe Ariel Camacho died in a car accident in 2015 and in tribute to him, his band "Los Plebes del Rancho" named themselves "Los Plebes del Rancho De Ariel Camacho".
I watched that dollywood part like five times it had me dying of laughter 🤣
Rhett has Post Malone in his phone. Link... the Snuggie guy. Loll 😂
Wow, I made a comment on a different video about Rhetts chin but I had no idea he's self conscious about it (I'm a new mythical beast 🙄) i don't get it, he's beautiful with or without the beard!
