I worked near main roads/interstates, I would come home, and it was quite...I walked near the interstate yesterday, to think. Hehha. Some people like the sound of rain on a tin roof, I prefer traffic.
I am such a light sleeper that i use white noise to sleep and a different white noise as an alarm. The alarm isn't louder than the one i use to sleep but the difference in sound wakes me up. Sometimes i ask my wife to hit the snooze and she tells me to remind her when the alarm goes off and i tell her it is already going off and she still can't hear it.
I agree with Link, if you don't stand up without thinking about it in the morning, you wake up immediately and don't go back to bed. But if you wake up and think about getting out bed 99.99% of the time you don't stand up and go back to sleep.
I feel like zoos are a net positive in general. An accredited and well kept zoo takes care of its animals and raises awareness that wouldn't otherwise have existed. I also think many of the animals are happy. I know some are not, particularly those used to large territory, but others are comfortable and the zoo keepers really care about them.
I’d like to know what happens after death. Think about it, it could either be amazing or just a peaceful end. It would bring closure to yourself about your passed loved ones. Also it could help people who have a great fear of death.

Now, when you die your brain stops working and everything else too, and it’s nothing. You can’t look back on life or get closure, you’re just gone. Maybe as you’re dying the odd experience makes you feel things and maybe you end smiling at your journey but that’s about it. Then you don’t see anything or think anything almost as if nothing ever happened.
Rhett, being an artist is partially about being cheap. If your not careful everything can charge up fast. I like to try and "life hack" About everything. For example mdf Board is way cheaper then canvas, A low profile picture frame with glass, and a neutral color as the picture for a pallet, you can buy like 40 brushes at Walmart for a few dollars, and acrylic paint bottles are like 50 cents each there too. You can start painting with a 12 by 12 of particle board for 17.95 on amazon, a picture frame pallet for like 1 dollar, and like 10 paints for 5 dollars, and 40 paint brushes at walmart for like 5 dollars. BAM 30 dollars for everything you need
I just finished a landscape with oil paint for class and it took me a semester and a half to actually enjoy painting. The only thing I'd say to turn you away from painting is that I spent around $300 only on supplies and that's student oils (cheaper). So please try, but be prepared.

I often think that aliens might be appalled by us. We're constantly at war with each other, draining resources, polluting, killing endless species, killing each other (amongst other horrible things), etc. Unless they're somehow just like us lol but imagine a civilization that just...wasn't like any of that...
I loved Zoobooks! They were made by National Geographic and I only got two and I doubt I still have them but I thought they were so cool! Plus, I love zoos that are run well. If the specific zoo is working to rehabilitate animals and provide them with an outdoor space with similar qualities to what they would have in the wild, I think they're an awesome way to learn about and appreciate lots of types of animals. Not all zoos are like that, but some try really hard to make the animals as comfortable as possible and have a positive experience. Also, some animals legitimately enjoy interacting with humans if treated well by them.
I am like Rhett with the "layers" thing. I always vacillate between different ideas of hobbies I want to start or restart. Except I'm not always able follow through on as much of my ideas as he is probably...but I literally thought about getting a bonsai tree about 3 days ago. LOL
