My whole channel encompasses the idea of embracing imperfections. I love the saying that,"Perfectionism is Boring". Perfect can't be improved. It can't be fiddled with and changed. It is static. Imperfections are beautiful because they still have so much room for improvement. GREAT VIDEO!
Create Imperfect I started my channel for similar reasons to you! Love what you said about perfect being boring, and imperfections being interesting and beautiful because they are dynamic. That is a beautiful thought!
"Done is better than perfect"It's crazy how much that applies to my life right now! I'm always procrastinating, even with the things I really want to do, like taking pictures and film videos. But this video really taught me something and it gave me inspiration to better mysellf. THANK YOU!
so true. i quit blogging two years ago and have always wanted to go back but never felt like my content would be good enough. this year i finally said "oh screw it!!" and launched my blog and im actually publishing content everyday this month. im only on day 2 and im struggling but im gonna push through!!!
This video comes at the perfect time for me. I was putting things off, because I always think "But this can be better", but I was thinking recently that I should just jump and make things happen! Thanks for the inspiration :)
This helped me SO much. That's my problem!, I always spend lots of time and effort on planning things, writing every detail, making maps, doing all this stuff that would make my project or work or whatever "perfect". And I must be real, doing it this way I never get things done. And I have no idea why I never thought that it's never going to be perfect!, and it can be just fine when it's done, but all this planning and wanting everything to be perfect just never let me finish things...

In Spain, you have to write an investigation paper on the last year of university. I have to finish mine for May and I haven't even written a single word. Thank you. THANK YOU. I'm getting really anxious about this project and this video help me A LOT. Done is better than perfect. Done is better than perfect. I think it has to be my new motto haha xoxo
I did something similar for my e-course last year -- announced the launch date before I had anything done bar picking the topic. I don't think I've ever worked so hard in my life! But it launched on time, and was very successful, and it showed me just how much I can get done when I put my mind to it and knuckle down. I plan on updating it and re-launching it this year. =)
My goal is to really minimize all the stuff in my life, and figure out my dreams, and life goals. I'd also like to write more. I know that if I manage my time properly I'll be able to do all of that, I just need to figure out what works for me in time management :)
For the past few years, I have been pushing myself, even when exhausted to take on more projects. So, this year is about slowing down and finishing one thing at a time. I also noticed that I have allowed others to decide for me who and what I am. Being as I was the Cinderella growing up, it was an easy thing to fall into. Therefore, this year is self-discovery, love, and healing before projects. Found this channel after a big burn out this summer and started watching playlists one at a time. It has helped a lot.
This is the best advice. Many of us are paralyzed by perfection and it holds us back from sharing our gifts with the world. I am really trying to overcome this.

I totally know how you feel. What a lot of my professors and mentors have told me is that all your work will never feel truly finished. I personally set a goal of posting one video a week. I definitely use this motto to post videos. Glad you brought up this concept!
I've been wanting to put up a garage sale ever since but never have the guts to do it (have a decent day job and is afraid of what others may think) Today, I did it. Making a few sale and discarding some items I no longer need is a win win. Thank you! Your words is all I ever needed. 💜
Kind of reminds me of the saying that goes something along the lines "you'll never run a marathon if you don't take the first step". I'm definitely guilty of trying to make everything perfect, including what I say out loud, but I'm going to work on speaking more freely!

Lavendaire but if we will start before we are ready then how will it justify "the dream without plan is just a wish" it's highly confusing. Please help me understand this!
Thank you so much for your advice! I have a really hard time balancing between perfecting my work and finishing it. Good to hear that I'm not the only one that struggles with this!
Wow this was very eye opening. I am always like procrastinating because I want to wait "until I'm ready" and in the end nothing is accomplished. This applies for (almost) everything in life: hobbies, work, learning, goals... it really doesn't matter if you don't do it perfect but at least try to.. I am very self concious when it comes to job opportunities, like I don't take the jobs because I feel that I am not ready but in reality I am scared to fail. I need to trust myself more.
I wish I found your channel sooner. It’s currently May 1st, and my goal this year is to land a new job, but not just any new job. It needs to be one that I find fulfilling, with a company whose mission I identify with, and job function that allows me to use my skills effectively. It’s not exactly the easiest time to find a job at the moment, but all the more reason to put in the effort and get it done. Im setting my goal for June 1st. I’ll update this in a few weeks.
I never comment on anyone’s vdo, but I feel the urge to comment here. I would say that all of you clips make me feel calm and relaxed and realize the values of life. Thx u so much!!
your videos are the light at the end of the tunnel for me... i took a gap year after dropping out of college in november last year because i (still) don't know what career i want to pursue... your videos are really helping me organize my own thoughts and write down what it is i actually want to achieve. it's like you're like an online life coach, haha. i think my goal this year is to put myself together and not freak out so much when i think about the future, and have more confidence in myself when it comes to that matter. thank you for making the videos you make, i sincerely hope more people who feel lost in life like me find your videos, because they are incredibly helpful. hugs from belgium ❤
The projects that I would like to complete most are learning to code, losing weight and passing all the exams and getting my credential! Thanks Aileen for being so inspiring and encouraging.
Totally true! I waited to learn everything and start my RUclips channel for 2 years. And then I realized I must start and improve along the way. Better make something good enough and improve along the way then aim to make it perfect and never make it. Done is better than perfect! Great idea 😄
This video is really inspiring. I always find myself having trouble with this...I tend to overthink what could make an idea I have better and better, but then I don't ever start because I become overwhelmed with trying to make the idea perfect. Hearing that I'm not the only person that goes through this and to hear your tangible example is really encouraging! Thank you!
Thank you for the advice in this video! I've always wanted to apply to art schol but never made the attempt because I don't have a finished, refined portfolio yet. I always give up on that project because it's never good enough in my eyes. But I'm really going to take your advice to heart and put out my portfolio by the end of March and give it all I've got!
You've just described me. I have a major project this year wich is my final project in architecture school. And I've been procrastinating on it for so long and it took me way much more time than it should because I said to myself I want to make this perfect and I've concentrated too much on little things I guess. So I've missed the first partial, sadly, nd I have to go on the second which is in May... I think this is the project I procrastinated the most, ever...When I worked in the office, with aclear schedule, a boss, and clear goals, I didn't procrastinate..but at this project, when I allowed myself to take time for it, I've procrastinated alot.
this video has given me some food for thought! I have had a book idea for years that I have played with and tweaked and mutated and evolved and put on a shelf and haven't given it much thought since my daughter was born nearly three years ago. when I considered doing nanowrimo this year, I quickly shot down the idea of reviving my book because I want to have the idea, outline and notes fleshed out before I belt out a book in 30 days. this video is causing me to reevaluate that decision. thanks for challenging my perfectionism!
This is just what I needed to hear. I've been putting off starting a RUclips channel because I had so many doubts and wanted to wait until I had the perfect place to film, the perfect camera, the perfect lighting, etc. After watching this video I'm realizing that I just need to start. Thanks for the inspiration! Love your videos!
This is what I am working on this year. I finally told my friends and family about my channel because I want to be comfortable with having people watch my process of learning and improving. 🤞
I know this video is a year old, but I needed this so badly! I hope to complete my personal blog in 2018 so I can get my freelancing career off of the ground, but I was so worried that it would never be *perfect.* Done is better than perfect was the exact push I needed to get this thing going! Thank you so much.
I've been watching many of your videos and have just completed journalling the dream life series. I have to say, its been so helpful and I just love how much I can grow and change through journalling and thinking about your tips and words of wisdom. So my project that I want to bring to completion soon is a performance art, video project based on movement, music and poetry. This video has given me the boost to get it DONE. Thanks so much Aileen xx
I have been stuck in my life. The orderness in your videos, the sincerity with your passions give me hope to want to try making RUclips videos. I believe that your motivation made you inspired to keep striving and I admire that so much. May I have the same values and work ethics as you! 💜
Your message in the video really connected with me. I was glued to your every word and nodded at everything you said. Thank you for the inspiration and the push I needed to just move on and get it done! Thank you, Aileen! You rock!!!
You are like a guardian angel! Amazing advice Aileen. I too have some big goals for the future but never gave myself a time frame because I now patience is needed also though I think they both go hand in hand depending on what your goal is. Thanks for reminding you that you'll never be 'ready' and you just have to believe in yourself now
Aileen, your words are always so refreshing. I have a few projects to finish in the house but not having them 'just right' definitely holds me back. Time to get started!
Hi Aileen!! Im in to Sewing , n i still don’t have an organized corner for it, so getting it completed and ready for me to work peacefully is my Aim.. i intend to finish it by the coming weekend In Sha Allah !!
Please, please more videos on personal development and goal achieving! You are awesome. Do not stop doing things in this theme. I know other people with silly "blah-blah" videos get more views and subscribers. However, what you are doing is SOO VALUABLE ❤️ thank you so much for sharing the tips on motivation and personal development, you inspire me and motivate me to move forward 🙏
I know this video is over a year old now but just wanted to comment that I resonate with this so much! I was procrastinating finishing a training guide for my café because it was such a huge project and I felt so much pressure to get it perfect that I was procrastinating working on it. I have it halfway done now and I started it essentially three days ago. I should be able to finish it in the next couple of days! I’m so excited! Thank you for making this video Aileen! 💕
That is the message I needed! Im struggling so hard with not bringing anything to an end, because I am feeling like it is not perfect! Thank you aileen, I am going to try just finishing my Projects, and learning from them. GREAT MESSAGE
I'm gonna use this advice to get my homework done on time! I have paralysing perfection that's prevented me from doing anything. Thank you for the advice!
Hey Lavendaire! I just want to say I'm so glad you opened up and giving your advice on why getting things done is better than perfection. Too often I focus on trying to write the "perfect" essay or "perfect" reading response or "perfect" answer that even though I spent so much time on my work, I never get things done on time. Let alone I would rather not turn in work because I was scared it was not my best work. I'm taking your advice to heart because I realize I'm not letting myself grow otherwise. Thank you so much
Thank you! I came across this at the perfect time. I was spending too long on a project, trying to perfect it. But, often, when you keep working things they get worse. So, I will finish and release it even though it won't be perfect (because it can't reach perfect.)
Thank you for the advice and being you. I want to get my house projects that are started completed. Vacation week is coming and I made a list, I pray to cross many items off this coming week. Be blessed.
Honestly, your videos always synch so beautifully with my mental space every time. Thank you so much for all you give, it's truly a contribution and has inspired me! Always so excited to see what you post. I'd love to see a video on finding an apartment, and how that works with your view onminimalism! Thank you again!
😂😂this why I may done almost nothing untill this moment... we've to stop searching for perfection, because there is always sth better, you can't reach the absolute end of goodness...because it never exsists.. thank you for this video💜
Done is better than perfect and imperfection is an art. I really love this view. This year, I'm gonna finish the last chapters of my book, start a blog and make a business plan. :)
I really agree with the sentiment here that setting unreasonable expectations for ourselves can make a goal sometimes feel unachievable however I often think that when we distill these messages into "Instagram worthy", "popcorn sized" quotes we can run the risk of loosing the true value in the lesson. I'm critical of "Done is better than perfect" I'm certainly able to see the damage that perfectionism can have on an outcome, but that I think simply stating that "done" is enough can lend itself to some people skirting accountability for finishing a project to the standard they initially set for themselves. I agree that when expectations are unrealistic (perfectionism) we can fall into a trap where we never see something as "finished" but I think one way to avoid this is, prior to starting a project, outlining a set of criteria for what "good" looks like. Then we can still remain accountable to our goal and don't run the risk of self deluding ourselves into not contributing to a high level simply because we wanted to let ourselves off the hook (once we reach the tail end of a project, there is a greater need for high attention to detail which is often more mundane work) and "run away" with the next shiny idea we may have. Just another perspective.
oh i see what you're saying. well i'm thinking if you truly care about the project enough to let it paralyze you, then in trying to get it done I'm sure you're still going to try your best to make it as good as you can. just saying "done is better than perfect" takes the pressure off of trying so hard to make it amazing and just getting the project done, even if there are still flaws in the project.
this is what I realized from my struggles in college years as a perfectionist! My perfectionist standard made me really anxious and stressed about even getting started on the project! Great video!! :)
you inspired me. i just thought you should know. --i wanted to create a channel and was going back and forth about starting. i came across your page and immediately felt empowered enough to go forward with it. thank you so much for staying authentic to yourself and sharing your gift with us. congrats on all of your success and i can't wait to see what the future has in store for you. thank you again. peace & love, always
Complete a entire semester at college. I switched schools and it's been a tough transition and I've been there a full year now and haven't been able to finish a semester. I get anxiety during school and would leave and not go back. I would be passing the class but that fear would creep in and get the best of me still. Each semester I've stayed longer and gotten better but now with being mindful. I'm about to start spring and I really want to accomplish finishing a class. This video put it into perspective of I don't need to get a Perfect A in the class but as long as I finish that's all I need! Thanks for the video! I'm glad I stumbled upon it☺😊
this is great advice Aileen! Thank you!! I recently did this with a story I wrote. For forever I've wanted to write a book, but I thought a short story is much more achievable...so me and my friend gave each other a deadline and low and behold, we got it DONE instead of waiting for perfect..
My graduating essay , and like you said done is better than perfect but I can't seem to work on it and I feel ashamed of myself because of that.. even when it's preventing from getting the jobs I want. I need to write this on the wall of my room : done is definitely better than perfect ! Thank you for this video :)
This video is so motivated for me, because I want to start a RUclips channel and I always say "It's not that good" and actually I didn't do anything for 3 weeks. I think that this video push me to finish the project. Thank you xoxo So much inspiration ❤
This video came at such a perfect time. You're completely right, it's so easy to get caught up striving for perfection. One of my goal/projects for this year is to begin swimming again, and I feel so unprepared...but maybe it's better to just dive in. Literally haha. Thank you so much for this, it's a breath of fresh air.
I wanna start a nonprofit organization, and I'm afraid of potential backlash and not being ready to do it right, but I gotta start somew to get somewhere despite my fears.
i've watched so many videos but nvr took out time to comment/compliment on them but with you is probably is my 2nd comment, i just want say THANKYOU for ur advice as it has really helped me lot more than you can imagine, as i always tend to be perfect in evrything from picking up a dress to completing my studies perfectly. So keep up the job and thanks again :)
I definitely needed to hear this.❤️️ This year I have so many goals and projects and so far I haven't even started one yet because there's always something that holds me back and I'm afraid it will turn out crappy. 😭
I came across your channel yesterday! MuchelleB actually recommended it in one of her videos, and I'm soo glad she did! Your videos encompass so much of what I'm starting to teach myself this year and I can't get enough! I've been basically binge watching your videos while getting ready for work in the morning and it's such an inspiring way to get the day started! I started a RUclips channel 5 years ago but have somewhat strayed away from it over the past few years, I let my perfectionism get in the way. One of my goals is to spend more time creating content that makes me happy :) love your channel ❤️!
I really needed this! Thank you. I've been trying too hard to create perfect videos but that's taking me so long to produce. My goal for 2017 was to put out 2 videos every week but it hasn't been working out well. I guess it's time to stop worrying and just start creating deadlines to get the work done. Also, if I don't set deadlines I tend to take time for granted and waste time in between the work process giving myself lame excuses.
Thanks universe I found you! Your videos talk about very relatable issues going on in my life now! 🙌🏽✨😊 You are helping me a lot to set my goals clear and I'm really learning how to approach them 🤗
Thanks Aileen! This was the pep talk I've been needing for a while! My one project is youtubing. I've made like 10 videos (lookbooks, DIY, how-to) and I just second guess myself constantly until the videos are out of date. Ugh, MY FIRST VIDEO IS DEADLINED TO POST BY NEXT FRIDAY. #determined
For this year my goal is to get all my exams and finish my Bachelor degree and then I can think for Masters degree. I am writing it so I can believe that it's possible regardless the high number of exams and my busy work Monday - Friday. Lavendaire you inspire me, thank you so much
You have such great content I'm really happy to have found you. My goal this year is to prioritize myself. I'm trying to teach myself to internalize self interest is not the same as selfish. If i'm not interested in myself & my happiness enough to prioritize it I can't expect others (like s/o, friends, family) to do it for me. Obviously the goal has many subcategories & moving parts to help me achieve it.
Hey Aileen I’ve been checking out a lot of your video/podcast since last December and your stuffs are very uplifting and have truly inspired me a lot. I started reading books that you recommended and journaling too :) Tracing back your old videos to this one and realized we have the same birthday! This might not be relevant but it’s just so cool for me hehe. Just want to let you know that your work is truly creating values and are very insightful & helpful, so keep pushing and you are amazing!
AWESOME advice! I promise I'm struggling with this now!! One of my goals/project for this year is to just get over my fear of singing in public..You're very right, doing it is better than trying to perfect it. I plan on going to my first open mic of the year, and just see what happens.
what an honest video, love your channel :) it is a great advise especially for me, recently I have realised I never finished anything because I didnt fully like it and I got tired of this approach. 2017 is the year I will get stuff done! :)
I have many projects that I want to do. First, I wanted to be a youtuber since 2010 but!! It didnt happen. T T. I ended up looking at myself in camera and felt not confident at all. So I think this year, I must start my youtube channel and share things that I know to people. I hope my skill (pattern making) and knowledge (Japanese language) can help others like you helping me so much. Actully, I just found your channel 2 days ago but you help me to start thinking about myself so much. Thank you very much for making such good vdos. Keep on good works!! ♡♡♡
holy shit, that helped me SO much. That's my problem, I am always such a perfectionist..The result is, that i end up with so high expectations that can never be fulfilled. Thanks for illuminating this fact, now i understand.. done is better than perfect !!
I have sooo many goals in 2017, that I think I kind of exaggerated ^^ I want to: - get my driver's license - do good in the test to get into med school - continue learning the guitar - continue learning Portuguese & Japanese - improving my Arabic (& and English, I'm German) - draw more - finally starting to write my book and much more (which aren't THAT important, so I am okay with not achieving them yet). That is a lot, so I am kind of overwhelmed with all this and I think I am driving myself insane right now :3 xD
Totally understand you here, i've realised this year It's better to get 80% done than 100% perfect! There are several goals I've also learnt to stay focused and commit. I love your clean and simple videos they are very refreshing! Just checked out honestly in your link above - you have a beautiful voice. Look forward to album no.2.
oml Aileen... This advice is PERFECT right now. Something i've been trying to do is develop my personal music brand and release an album too! So much factors were involved and then uni got in the way. I love this advice and really feel the motivation. Never stop creating valuable content such as this. All the best with writing that book xxxx
I agree. I'm *finally* writing the book I want to write this year as well. I'm a perfectionist so my plan is to finish it and then go back and rewrite what I think I need to rewrite in editing... rather than be concerned with getting it perfect on first draft. I'll get the bones in there and then fill out and redistribute the meat. Lol.

But it launched on time, and was very successful, and it showed me just how much I can get done when I put my mind to it and knuckle down. I plan on updating it and re-launching it this year. =)

this is something I've always had a hard time with. I hate doing something if it's not perfect, and I know this really holds me back!
For the past few years, I have been pushing myself, even when exhausted to take on more projects. So, this year is about slowing down and finishing one thing at a time. awesome goal! can't wait to see what you do with your channel this year! and so glad to have you in the mastermind group as well :)
I like this way of doing things! Giving myself a deadline😀

Im setting my goal for June 1st. I’ll update this in a few weeks.
Did you get it?
I love your channel. Just subscribed a few days and I can't stop watching. Love your positive energy. Best wishes!
:) thank you!
I think that you deserve more views and more subscribers i love your videos
aw thank you :) hoping to keep growing this year!
Goal is to keep up with school work and being organized.
yay! good luck
Thank you!
we all go through this, honey. good luck with your endeavors!
Thank you for the advice in this video! I've always wanted to apply to art schol but never made the attempt because I don't have a finished, refined portfolio yet. I always give up on that project because it's never good enough in my eyes. But I'm really going to take your advice to heart and put out my portfolio by the end of March and give it all I've got!
yes!! good luck!
Katie Haugen yes! Just start. How's it going so far?
This is what I am working on this year. I finally told my friends and family about my channel because I want to be comfortable with having people watch my process of learning and improving. 🤞
I know this video is a year old, but I needed this so badly! I hope to complete my personal blog in 2018 so I can get my freelancing career off of the ground, but I was so worried that it would never be *perfect.* Done is better than perfect was the exact push I needed to get this thing going! Thank you so much.
Goal: To make just one good youtube video that is well edited and presented and captures the true me. It is not as easy as it looks.
:) don't stress too much about editing or capturing the true you - just make a youtube video. period. should take a little of the stress off!
You rock!!!
yay! thank you
You are like a guardian angel! Amazing advice Aileen. I too have some big goals for the future but never gave myself a time frame because I now patience is needed also though I think they both go hand in hand depending on what your goal is. Thanks for reminding you that you'll never be 'ready' and you just have to believe in yourself now
My GOAL is to wake up with a smile on my face every morning and having a purpose in life! Work in progress! :)) xx Great video!!
Aileen, your words are always so refreshing. I have a few projects to finish in the house but not having them 'just right' definitely holds me back. Time to get started!
good luck!
Hi Aileen!!
Im in to Sewing , n i still don’t have an organized corner for it, so getting it completed and ready for me to work peacefully is my Aim..
i intend to finish it by the coming weekend In Sha Allah !!
I had to write down "Done is better than perfect". I just needed to read it everyday, it is so important, and it can stop procrastination.
I'm 1.34 in and this is my second video of this girl. It's perfect content. Hugely impressed.
Your honesty in all if your videos is liberating. Thank you 😊
Just learning new things related my field
I know this video is over a year old now but just wanted to comment that I resonate with this so much! I was procrastinating finishing a training guide for my café because it was such a huge project and I felt so much pressure to get it perfect that I was procrastinating working on it. I have it halfway done now and I started it essentially three days ago. I should be able to finish it in the next couple of days! I’m so excited! Thank you for making this video Aileen! 💕
Thank you!
I LOVE this video. I think this is something I genuinely have to absorb and I'm going to watch it a LOT. Thank you!
:) good luck!
I really agree with the sentiment here that setting unreasonable expectations for ourselves can make a goal sometimes feel unachievable however I often think that when we distill these messages into "Instagram worthy", "popcorn sized" quotes we can run the risk of loosing the true value in the lesson. I'm critical of "Done is better than perfect"
I'm certainly able to see the damage that perfectionism can have on an outcome, but that I think simply stating that "done" is enough can lend itself to some people skirting accountability for finishing a project to the standard they initially set for themselves.
Thank you for this! This is what I needed.
you inspired me. i just thought you should know. --i wanted to create a channel and was going back and forth about starting. i came across your page and immediately felt empowered enough to go forward with it. thank you so much for staying authentic to yourself and sharing your gift with us. congrats on all of your success and i can't wait to see what the future has in store for you. thank you again. peace & love, always
aw thank you dear
Complete a entire semester at college. I switched schools and it's been a tough transition and I've been there a full year now and haven't been able to finish a semester. I get anxiety during school and would leave and not go back. I would be passing the class but that fear would creep in and get the best of me still. Each semester I've stayed longer and gotten better but now with being mindful. I'm about to start spring and I really want to accomplish finishing a class. This video put it into perspective of I don't need to get a Perfect A in the class but as long as I finish that's all I need! Thanks for the video! I'm glad I stumbled upon it☺😊
There were many situations like the same one you had...😕 I realize that what you said is right...😊 You are a true inspiration to me...❤
this is great advice Aileen! Thank you!! I recently did this with a story I wrote. For forever I've wanted to write a book, but I thought a short story is much more achievable...so me and my friend gave each other a deadline and low and behold, we got it DONE instead of waiting for perfect..
oh that's wonderful! having a friend keep you accountable also helps so much. great job!
you're such an inspiration to me and i'm so thankful to have found your channel. I hope that you book works out well for you! 💖
thank you!!
Thank you xoxo So much inspiration ❤
so glad!
This video came at such a perfect time. You're completely right, it's so easy to get caught up striving for perfection. One of my goal/projects for this year is to begin swimming again, and I feel so unprepared...but maybe it's better to just dive in. Literally haha. Thank you so much for this, it's a breath of fresh air.
haha yes literally just dive in :D thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing this. Your youtube is exactly what I need in my life. Thank you so much
I wanna start a nonprofit organization, and I'm afraid of potential backlash and not being ready to do it right, but I gotta start somew to get somewhere despite my fears.
i've watched so many videos but nvr took out time to comment/compliment on them but with you is probably is my 2nd comment, i just want say THANKYOU for ur advice as it has really helped me lot more than you can imagine, as i always tend to be perfect in evrything from picking up a dress to completing my studies perfectly. So keep up the job and thanks again :)
aw thank you for your support!! xx
One of my goals is to spend more time creating content that makes me happy :) love your channel ❤️!
aw welcome love!
You are right!!! It happened to me a lot of time!!!! To wait to much for perfection!
Thanks universe I found you! Your videos talk about very relatable issues going on in my life now! 🙌🏽✨😊 You are helping me a lot to set my goals clear and I'm really learning how to approach them 🤗
:)
#determined
good luck!
My goal is to declutter.
Just want to let you know that your work is truly creating values and are very insightful & helpful, so keep pushing and you are amazing!
omg this is so true!!!! Aileen, you inspire me so much
AWESOME advice! I promise I'm struggling with this now!! One of my goals/project for this year is to just get over my fear of singing in public..You're very right, doing it is better than trying to perfect it. I plan on going to my first open mic of the year, and just see what happens.
you can do it - and it will be so much fun, trust me. good luck!
I think I really needed this. Thank you for sharing this now.
what an honest video, love your channel :) it is a great advise especially for me, recently I have realised I never finished anything because I didnt fully like it and I got tired of this approach. 2017 is the year I will get stuff done! :)
yes! just get it done & don't overthink it :)
I have sooo many goals in 2017, that I think I kind of exaggerated ^^
I want to:
- get my driver's license
- do good in the test to get into med school
- continue learning the guitar
- continue learning Portuguese & Japanese
- improving my Arabic (& and English, I'm German)
- draw more
- finally starting to write my book
and much more (which aren't THAT important, so I am okay with not achieving them yet).
Look forward to album no.2.
yes!! and thank you :)
oml Aileen... This advice is PERFECT right now. Something i've been trying to do is develop my personal music brand and release an album too! So much factors were involved and then uni got in the way. I love this advice and really feel the motivation. Never stop creating valuable content such as this. All the best with writing that book xxxx
that's amazing!! wishing you the best
This is EXACTLY what I needed to hear today!!!!!
Great video! My project is to start running. I always start training to run, then give up after a few weeks.
Cajun_ Mommie keep running even if it's for only a minute a day. You can do it!!
Lol.
