  • Hawks would like to give a big shout out to Brad Bedsaul for allowing Hawks Motorsports to be a part of this awesome build. This 1987 IROC-Z is a one of a kind, a 2015/1987 Z28. The car turned out perfect on so many levels and the Hawks Crew did a great job!
    Special thanks to the team at Detroit Speed for the suspension work, Wizard Cooling, Forgeline Wheels and Kolorworks for the engine bay paint.
    We hope you enjoy this video. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at 864-855-2694 or email bruce@hawksmotorsports.com.

      @@Deez30224 sorry but I just can not get used to that big bulky body of a current Camaro. I know the platform is Superior but to me they just do not resemble a F body in any way. I have a 2001 ws6 that I really enjoy. It's low to the ground and is sleek just like the older F bodies, those IROCs and GTAs just look so tough!! They can never be duplicated...

      PhillLsx Ga. A black 00-02 WS6 6-speed is in my opinion one of the coolest cars ever made and definitely a car I want to get in the future. The reason for getting rid of my Iroc was because it was a 305 auto and I didn’t have the cash to do what I really wanted to do with it. And when I got in my LS3 6-speed it was a night and day difference lol.

      @philllsxga.7737 4 года назад

      @MrChad97Z you are totally right! I totally agree! What a disaster!!
      I can't stand them!
      All to be cheap. GM took the cheapest way out by using a existing Holden platform that looked like crap and through suspension tried to make it handle.
      What a joke!! I didn't fall for it!
      I have one of the last TRUE F bodies and I enjoy it!!
      And BTW, the IROC Z is definitely my favorite body style Camaro by far! They looks so tough!!

    This is beautiful! The LS7 by itself is 505 hp, so a heads and cam upgrade bringing this engine to 650 hp is wow!, so excellent! This is why I prefer a big inch LS engine or a big block. I love a small block Chevy, but a big block Chevy or a big inch LS engine is changing my mind.👌👍

    Looks great! In my 20s, I had an 84 Z28 with a Herb Adams upgraded front and rear suspensions, mainly beefy sway bars, and it could out-corner any car. It was a stripped down 305 HO (no smog pump), 5 spd w/short shift Hurst,TB work, 3 inch no cat Banks exhaust, and 4:10 rear. I could take on and off ramps at fantastic speeds. I can only imagine what the Detroit Speed set-up is like. When I'm done paying off my daily driver next year, I hope to find a clean 80's F-Body to work with for my 50th birthday treat. HP is great but you have to be able to plant it! Love this car!
