Nice video looks a little chilly. We are lucky we can put our caravan at our house, it would be interesting to see a video about how it all works having it in storage maybe one day 🙂
You could do with a portable power station to plug in to your electric hook up for a couple of days. That would probably keep it topped up if you did it once a month during the winter period 😊
@@adrianbenn9456 that’s a good idea actually. Just to keep it topped up. Could probably use it on site too if “Off grid”. How would I connect to battery? Portable power station then to of those 3 pins to caravan lead connections?
@ you would need to get a 3pin electric hook up adapter with a mains plug on the other end. Then plug the adapter in the power station then the other end in to your electric hook up cable
@ yea, cool. I’d have to pass cable through the window from the power bank to the hook up but sounds ideal. All I need is Jackery to send me one to test
Im a bit dissapointed with that cut edge behind the window seal. Wonder why they couldnt cut it straight ? Also is the seal just glued in place ? Caravans are expensive and the least they can do is build them with skill and care !
Same thing with the battery terminals on our swift caravan with the battery compartment on the side . The quick release terminals on the battery pull away from the clips . Don’t think they are much good
@@adrianbenn9456 they seemed okay on our last caravan but have been a nightmare on the Bailey. Nice and tight now, so much in fact I’m not sure how to unfasten them 😀
The window aperture in the wall shouldn't look like that. They're cut by a preprogrammed machine on the wall table. It looks like someone has gone over it again with a jigsaw by hand. The window seals are stapled to the inner wall but because of the "waves" in the cut and uneven surface the staples have just gone into fresh air. My guess is the edge of the aperture was delaminated and they've bodged it by cutting the loose off by hand. When they should have replaced the wall ... Typical Bailey unfortunately.
Definitely 👍 .... Window seals don't just drop down. The underlying problem is the cut of the window aperture. ruclips.net/video/zpPVPaG_7II/видео.htmlsi=jOsUP_EG5pHf3hv5
@heyholetstow I been caravanning for 32 years and I tried all sorts of different things over the years and the best thing is to move it forward or backwards to make a different spot on the tire
I’m watching you putting the battery back in and thinking I must invest in some knee pads. So much working around the van is on your knees😂
@@petemonaghan4277 I have to kneel down to get on camera. I think you could do it standing but nobody want to see me bending over it 😀

Hi guys, that lovely winter sun with a solar panel on the roof and you wouldn’t need to lift battery out to take home

@ worth a try
You will definitely have a new caravan before the battery goes 😂 glad your battery is sorted
@@peterdavies-el1jx yeah, but now I just have to work out how I detach the battery when I do give it a charge. The cables are on really tight 😂
You need a solar panel we have it on ours and never had to take the battery off it's always fully charged even in the winter
Yea Same Here, We Have That Same Make Of Battery Since 2016, Never Had To Touch It Thanks To The Solar panel, Still Going Strong!👍@peterdavies-el1jx
@ we have thought about it but not sure best one to get and it can be expensive can’t it?
It's not cheep we paid around £600 for ours but well worth it @@heyholetstow

@ even when all the power is off there stir a small drain which is annoying. Usually take it out completely over winter
Don't really need the tyre savers with modern tyres

@heyholetstow yes I done that which is the best for the tyres . But it is a pain to take them off and on again
