    Awesome show !!
    I installed
    Sway bars
    10mm hex extenders
    Aluminium servo arm
    Dual motor fan
    40 mm esc fan
    Steel spur
    I run on 4s. Lowered the punch from 5 to 3.
    I like it. My favorite is my Arrma notorious !!

      @kylegeldmaker  4 года назад +2

      did your steel spur sound strange? I'm actually wondering about the mesh because it sounds so insane. It's very, very loud and has this really machine-y sound to it when moving very slow.

      @@donaldbarron7916 awesome! I'll probably do an inspection in a week or two just in case, but since im using an 11t pinion I was a tad concerned with mesh was tight.

    I’ve had steering issues as well after I upgraded to the aluminum servo horn. Eventually I got it step up correctly by adjusting the steering trims on the receiver. As mentioned I snapped one of my upper control arms where you pointed out in the video. Cheap to replace but I wasn’t expecting that to happen so fast.
    Also installed a metal spur gear and sway bar kit. Still need to install the cooling fan upgrade.
    I’m an RC noob this is my first real RC car, minus my Kyosho Outrage from the early 90’s I had as a kid lol.

      Thankfully, outside of the stripped servo horn and the spur (which technically wasn't really stripped) I haven't really broken anything. My main problem is I just don't feel super confident running it very hard because the steering is so erratic. I've taken it to a few BMX tracks and some construction sites and it's pretty gnarly to land a jump and have the truck rocket off at 30mph.
      I intend to make a video of the "must have" mods for the kaiju in the next couple weeks. If you have any ideas I'd be happy to incorporate them :)

      @@kylegeldmaker
      I forgot to mention I broke a rear hub carrier RER12437, which is my fault the truck landed weird and did like 6-8 cart wheels. Also it was between 25-30 degrees Fahrenheit outside when I broke all of these parts. My only issue with the truck is it shutting down at 3.4 volts when I have it programmed to shut down at 3.0 volts. Which is the factory default anyway.
      Your steering issue is strange though, puzzling....

    • @kylegeldmaker
      @kylegeldmaker  3 года назад

      @@goforbroke2 They make an aluminum hub, I believe its 7076 too. Should be pretty beefy.
      I'm going to try a really overpowered servo and see if that helps the steering problem. Honestly, It's not a super big deal while bashing, but it's very noticeable when trying to do a speed run on pavement or trying to jump something head on and expecting to continue straight at speed. Part of me thinks that just how this truck is.
