- What a distance this channel has gone since I started in 2015. I thank all of you so much for your support, help, friendship and inspiration. And there couldn't be a better end then being allowed to mix such an incredible song like "Fruit and Pills" by PHORM. because all I've learned and know about mixing and Superior Drummer went into this song.

What an irony, that a lot of really great, talented, educative and cool "youtubers" are leaving this platform, but a lot of those, who has nothing to say, stays. I am sad that you´re leaving YT, but I absolutely get it. I really like your channel and to this day I am returning from time to time to older videos. Mike, I wish you all the luck in the world, glad for you that you find another happy way of living. Missing you even more now that several SDX's and EZX's have been released. Would love to know your opinions on these.
I would say I am sad to hear you won't be advising and guiding the electronic drum community anymore however your personal new horizons are way more important and to be completely honest toontracks and most of the other big drum VST creators should be giving you a great big Golden handshake being you have been their best technical advisor and you never got a penny shame on them for not making the in-depth tutorials that they all really should have done. We all got to move on and as ever your leading by example Sometimes we need a break from our music but you will I think return when the time is right
May your new horizons bring you great joy 🙏
also good job on the engineering but glad your moving on, I was a studio engineer for 12 years and after you have mixed hundreds of tracks and people begin to lean on you to solve all their musical problems the only way to survive is to move on with dignity while there's still time

I would have loved to see you just review drum software. When MODO DRUMS was released and even new EZX libraries come out, it would have been nice to see you review things like that.

I just started working on the drums of a new song and the core of my Frankenstein drumkit is the Metalheads EZX which I won in a contest making the intro for your videos, so I thought of you and remembered I haven't watched you in a bit and 2 days ago you posted this. Mike, I cannot blame you at all. I’ve been struggling for over a year - in life, in my career, in my art. I haven’t been back to Europe (let alone Munich) since before I started getting to know you. So I’ve never been able to enjoy the dream of meeting you. Maybe sometime in the future. Probably not, of course. That’s just not how life works most of the time. So ... in case we never do get a chance to meet in person, let this be a sweet goodbye. You helped me as I returned to drumming, as I started to produce electronically, and as I found myself in late middle age. You *are* in fact a friend, even if only a distant, casual one. Friend, I spent more than a year following your channel, and each of your videos was synonymous with me accurate and necessary knowledge in audio and mixing, that's always good.
