There’s two anticipated cars coming soon…the highland model 3 dual motors expansive sound system and the 2025 Toyota Camry hybrid XSE with their beefy JBL sound system upgrade…I’m still waiting for those two in no particular order as long as it’s in your roster thanks awesome channel I always think all auto makers should consult with you always prior to releasing even debuting new redesigns 🔥🔥🔥
I’m thinking instead of just 3 sound adjustment bars, a 5 equalizer type would help, 6 even. Give it more fine tune control. It is much better sound than prior mid level 2016 Outback, but Ridgeline Black Edition sound is still a little disappointing. Center speaker doesn’t add a lot for me. I put fader one notch toward rear and did best I could with the 3.
If it does have the subwoofer, why doesn't their sound adjustments allow us to control the sub? I does in other vehicles and other hondas. I was in a loaner 23 RTL Ridgeline while Honda added my accessories, and I was able to adjust the sub bass level. It also sounded WAY better than my 24 TrailSport. If the TrailSport is a level above the RTL, why sound so horrible and have less control? At least thats my experience now.
Any plans to review the system in the Black Edition?
Currently have the ‘24 Ridgeline and the sound system is no where near like my previous vehicle- Kia Soul-great sound system!! Miss it😢

I’ve seen a lot of Hondas come with a low power mode on the stereo which can be shut off! It’s set that way so you don’t drain the battery

Bose seemed to fix Honda's audio quality, but their base systems are still relatively poor.
My 2024 RTL doesn't sound anywhere near this bassy. Must be the uncompressed. I do mostly youtube music thru android auto.
Why can’t Honda provide a decent audio system? Between loud interiors and lousy audio systems, i don’t enjoy doing long drives in Hondas.
