All those artists are extremely talented, I could watch such kind of videos whole day. I must say, Paul Antonio is my favorite, his artistry is simply stunning!!!
A friend of my older sister was really into calligraphy, and would write like that all the time, I have none her my entire life she was a fixture in our house as I was growing up , she went to live in another country, back in the day before emails and text and the phone call were expensive and she would write to us . THE only issue I had, it would take days for me to figure out what she said because I have dyslexia and FONTS make all the difference in weather I can read what's been wrote .I loved getting the letters it made me feel grown up , my sister who is a lot older than me though it was funny my mum would have to read them for me .
Beautiful art! Keep it alive. The hand control for precise strokes of pen/pencil/brush are impressive. Also the sense of space to work with effectively. Thanks for the video.
•Tri Le would fit on this list, I suppose. •Thanks to Paul Antonio and his generous videos. Who doesn't love to see hands reminding an Egyptian scribe lost in a time travel? •Great job, guys/gals!
good stuff. A useful tip, in english the word is "surfaces" you wrote "cerfaces", hope that is useful. Also, white letters on light backgrounds are tough to read. I find a black outline around white letters legible on almost any color background.
I love calligraphy! When you put text up, people will want to read. Who reads so fast? Nobody! When images speed by it becomes a distraction; it also conveys too a sense the content has no import; there is no time to savor appreciation. Your practice to fit a lot of information in a segment is really a disservice to your hordes of viewers. (Break it up.) We honestly do not need a "teaser" from you. What we need is learning and aspiration. Impart some knowledge, live up to your inspirational appellation.
@Phil Leonetti Jr. Hello Phil, there is nothing wrong with Roger Jones, he just got the timing wrong. It is actually 6:39 to 6:41 to be precise. But I take you snatch pleasure in belittling others to make yourself feel superior. We are looking at a calligraphy setting and there is nothing in scope to encourage speed. I am glad and in awe that you are a speed reader, which are not many. My hats off to you Jr.
Inspiring, I put the pen down due to stress and pain, but just that little note is n the corner, "keep writing" reminded me to just keep going. It's amazing how you can put down on paper what your mind sees. I love it!!!!
Wow I really want to learn some of this. What a awesome skill you can use everyday. I would use it everywhere just for fun. On every document I sign lol
I understand and I've discussed this with the audience in the community tab and there are also plenty of videos in real time, but unfortunately there isn't such interest whenever real time videos are being uploaded.
I've been a calligrapher since I was a teen, but don't do it much anymore. I'd like to see some left-handers, since I realized once when I was teaching a class that I reverse some strokes to make them flow more freely.
Right! I had to stop watching because I couldn’t stop bouncing back and fourth TRYING to catch the captions and ACTUALLY watching these masters do their thing.
I studied calligraphy at the New Orleans Academy for Fine Arts under Cyd Goodwin so I pretty much know what I'm looking at here. These people are otherworldly.
I love to learn the calligraphy, but don't how to start and from where to start. What kind of materials need to be used for this. I've tried by various pens but the outcomes didn't satisfy me. Is anybody there to guide me?I'm from India.
I am a calligrapher of the English alphabet; I do not know if this is true as a strategy for other alphabets for other calligraphers; but my strategy is this; I decide instinctually what are the meagerest sufficiencies of each character’s recognizability; including, what is barely sufficient to distinguish it from a relative or similar character, and I amplify that which distinguishes; if the character is fairly unique compared to the rest of the alphabet, then I mutate all but that which is absolutely necessary and essential. Good luck.🍀
I want to learn i think lettering is so amazing its like drawing you can do anything your mind thinks up but does anyone know what pen was #1 using and what marker theosone was used
I think you speed up the writing parts too much on some parts of the video, and the subtitles last very little since i want to see the writing too and sometimes the subtitles are hard to see with the background, just my suggestions.
Would be great if I could read your notes below before, during and/or after the written word was completed. Something has to be left on the screen longer.
Calligraphy is literally art relating to words... 1a : artistic, stylized, or elegant handwriting or lettering. b : the art of producing such writing. 2 : penmanship. 3 : an ornamental line in drawing or painting using pins, brushes, or other writing instruments. How would any of them NOT be calligraphers?

The music is sooooo soothing... And the calligraphy masters with their skills just elevate the experience...
White text on a white background is so readable.
haha
you think a video/channel about calligraphy would understand the importance of contrast
Mark Grygielewicz, it also helpful that they leave it up so long.

I'd love to see what this guy's every day handwriting is like--like his weekly grocery list.
So we actually make our weekly list just as beautiful. It's a chance to practice.
Paul Antonio’s copperplate is so perfect
This lettering is so beautiful
It would be great to add the name of the scripts showed. It would help to find more informations about it.
Thanks for this beautiful display of human skill.

Everything is too fast, no time to read and take in the calligraphy, text clashes with the background.
in the settings you can adjust the speed
You can't make a good thing long and boring...so you speed up the process and hope the eye catches everything in speed mode.
Adjust the speed poopy pants😢
Where is the writing ? I never saw any .
Amazing! I'd like to ask you: how many left-handed calligraphers are in this wonderful group?
no
Damn we need a LH masters group. I could write a book on the struggles of the left handed calligrapher...
Gourgeous! 🤩 Wow, It seems so easy when they do it, and it isn't as easy at all. Trully masters! 👏👏👏
Superb. Annual top ten calligraphers alive….
Such great, inspiring work.
These handwritings are dope asf
AMAZING!!!
I wish the subtitles would stay on screen longer i had to pause the vid several times to read all of it too quick

I can't read half of what they're writing, but the way they write it is just soo nice!
Sehr, sehr schön! Respekt!
Awesome !How does one start practicing?
