Very linear and informative tutorial. Thank you. I've seen hundreds. I'm a big fan of calligraphy and a novice. I adore handwriting with care. I'm a classically trained pianist lifetime professional pianist entertainer and I've written buckets of manuscript music. Some composers were messy like Beethoven. Some were fastidious and beautiful like Bach. I'm just normal. (God I love the word normal!) Thanks again for this video. It's actually making me want to go to Ireland now. I've worked everywhere else in Europe. Hope to meet you someday.

What an excellent, thorough, and knowledgeable exploration of the history and technique of goth script. Exactly the type of video I was looking for, and hard to find videos of this caliber on the topic on youtube

Love tai see denis do a product review with widely lauded japanese Kakimori brass nib. It is long lasting in-terms of ink retention and depending on the angle of the hold lines appear to be variable…

@@DenisCalligraphy Hi mate, appreciated your videos, too. Any chance there's another way to access the .pdf?

@@SpikeRobo Thank you. This is Waterford Treasures' channel and only they can link their own website to their RUclips channel. They just need to get access to their own website to upload the PDFs, it seems. Could make a significant difference for them. A lovely bunch of people.

What an excellent introduction to something most of us are aware of and many appreciate the art of. My one critique of course is 'minimum' should of been an ambigram. I'm kidding, of course!

Dennis Brown is the worst calligrapher on the planet. He has 5 identical websites that are just name changes, and his books are copies with title changes. This guy just spams the same old crap over and over. Hes worse than Jake Weidman. What a grifter.
