I re-watch this video every year, right around Christmas, usually the day before I bring my (used, admittedly low-quality) goalie equipment to the ODR for the first time. I played hockey for 7-ish years as defense, and I enjoy playing goalie casually.

I know nobody cares. But in high school i had a sick save where i dove for a poke check(laying down on my front side with my body extended) and about half a second before i poke the puck, he wrist-ed it straight above me. Without even thinking about it, I bent my knees and raised my two back feet together and somehow smacked the puck .

They're all great saves but nabakovs save was all skill and athleticism. He was down and set had to get up and push off all the way to far post. And it was a one timer by a highly skilled player in Richard's who absolutely got all of it from about 15 feet and placed it right inside the post. It's definitely the most impressive no diving and flailing around hoping to get lucky or shooter helping out by putting in right where goalie can get it. This was a rocket that was sniped inside post and in overtime in an elimination game..

No Richter, Hasek, Lundqvist, Beezer, Barasso, Vernon, Fuhr just to mention a few... I know it's hard to fit everything in a top 10 but cmon...

Not a single save from the greatest of all time. Hasek’s save on Klatt isn’t only above honorable mention, isn’t only top ten, but it’s number one, and it’s nowhere in their entire list?
    Delegitimizes the entire list. Completely.

Hasek's my favorite athlete of all time, and that save on Klatt is an all-timer, and you could argue it's his best save, but I'd say either his glove save on Weight from Edmonton or the blocker save vs Washington in game 5 of the 1998 ECF where he flipped over and dropped his stick is #1

So Sebastian Caron made the list twice in 92 games? They should have kept him longer

Many of the Best of the Rest saves are better than the ones they picked for the top 10
