@@the6ig6adwolf Holtby's save was equally impressive as Mclean's and was integral to a cup win (The 1st ever of a franchise to boot). Sorry Kurt, maybe if that save led to a cup but Holtby's is much more deserving of the name.
Being honest, From a Caps fan, The Caps should of been Game 1, 2009, Varlamov's save on Crosby. Varlamov's save took more skill and was more impressive, but Holtby's was on a bigger stage.
I wouldn't say Varlys save took more skill, each were desperation saves more or less. Im not a Caps fan but have always liked watching them play and its definitely Holtbys paddle save.

Thenitroviper well, we’ll see how he does as a starter. there’s absolutely no way that save was the most memorable Blues save. Not even the most memorable save in the last couple years.

I'm surprised that Martin Brodeur's glove save from his stomach in Game 4 of the '03 ECF wasn't in the Devils' highlight. The Senators were up a goal and on the PP when Marty made that save. The Devils rolled the Sens from then on. Great game, great series.
Love seeing the Save of the Century in there. Not only are some of these savings incredible, but it was the magnitude of the moments they were made in.

NY Rangers: penalty shot save by Richter on Bure Detroit: Mrazek paddle save on Boyle, Osgood stick save on Hossa Calgary: Vernon glove save on Smyl, Kiprusoff skate save
Luongo's save on Brian Bickell in the playoffs vs the Hawks would have been my pick. That or his glove save on Ryan Smith vs the king's in the playoffs
Fair enough. I didn't really think about the cause and effect. But in the same time, in my opinion, this is exactly what makes Miller's save so memorable.
