Tequila, and free money on the road from good people who fallow you!! That was touchy. And your reaction to it was so sweet!! You guys are such genuine people!! 🤗🤗
God, that gave me flashbacks to interrailing in the 80s and being stuck in the bowls of a ferry crossing the Baltic. It was full of smelly backpackers, all of whom had acoustic guitars and not one of them could play. I must have heard the introduction to Stairway To Heaven in about eight different languages, interspersed with vomiting noises due to rough seas.. it was grim!
Watching this in La Paz as we are waiting to take the ferry to Mazatlan! Not going to lie, watching us say goodbye again made us tear up a little bit. Think we will be taking the libre if we can 😂 Hopefully see you soon!! Roan misses his stick buddies...
Another great video. Episodes like this show the realities and challenges of long distance travel. UK motorways are largely free and we have lots of traffic jams. However, like you, I hate it when driving abroad and you have to pay a toll to sit in a traffic jam😁
Wow! I’m so impressed with Mathilde’s Spanish she can really hold a conversation👏🏽 hope you’re stayed in Mexico City was pleasant. I love the city. Thanks Nick and Mathilde for sharing your travels. Stay safe🙏🏽🌎
Siiiii ! hahahah worked in Argentina a while back so need to practice a bit more to get it back to a comfortable level. We love Mexico City! Thank you so much!
As always, I loved the incidental music, especially as you were traveling into Mexico City. Thank you for showing the hospitality of the people along the way. Wishing you a safe, healthy, and happy 2023!
The people you meet over landing are one of the most special reasons for traveling this way . every were you go in the world spectacular people will show you the love of there country in many acts of kindness . Mexico is awesome for the generous and friendly people you will meet along the way . And as you are seeing a spectacular and beautiful place . Thanks again for sharing your wonderful journey with us your over landing friends . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🌎😁🍻👍🏼
Great video! Such a wide variety of events. I suspect I’m not the only one who enjoys watching all of it, “dreamy” and not so dreamy. 😊 Loved the drone shots of the whales!
I was stunned that a random person would give you that much money...I guess the world isn't as screwed up as I thought...Yes this video was not allllll pretty beaches and sunshine...But it's YOUR Expedition and we love it, all of it...From the mild to the wild...Like taking shots at noon....Who would have thought????
I once drove to Cabo from California. It was quite the adventure with so much to see and experience. My grandfather spent a year in Topolobampo with his parents in 1886. It was a socialistic plan that was a total failure. I have a book that details the experiment and why it failed. His family really struggled with all the hardships, including starvation. Your trip looks great, and when Nick recovers, you'll be on your way again.
YeZZZ. Generosity runs WAY MORE between people who came out of the poorness..... Supporting You guys from time to time. "Merry Christmas" is ALL I wanted to hear from You - God Bless with your trip. One of my dreams is to go to Mexico and get VW Beatle/VOCHO "Pół litra na dówch to nic"/Half of the liter of vodka for two is NOTHING..... SAVA
We’ll, that was quite the few days! Nothing like experiencing all the aspects of a country. Hope you had a wonderful family time in Mexico City. What a special Christmas gift! On another topic: What’s this about knee surgery? I saw a short clip about a meniscectomy in Cancun. Experiencing the health care system too? 😮. Hope recovery is going well. Tuning in from Western Canada.
Hi Heather! we had the best time in Mexico City really loved it. Yes... Nick torn his meniscus we indeed experimented the health care system. We found great sport orthopedist surgeons and nick is already recovering well only 1 week after surgery ... Hopefully we will be back on the road soon !
People I know who have been to Mexico report that the people are warm and offer a lot of hospitality and welcome -- and your experience on the highway seems to bear that out.
Totally! we have been in the country for 2 months and we have had only good experiences! despite everything we saw In comments when we crossed into the country
How lovely to spend time with your family :) Great vid and Mathilde you do so well explaining everything. Hope you are both well and enjoying the journey x
Loved your video ! Sad to see all the negative comments. I’m wondering if they speak of own experience? Or just assume. Anyways I hope your enjoyed your family 🎉 and Nick I hope you feel better.
Like your trip I am from Ethiopia but I drive track in US all over & I was going to say you shud try driving in Ethiopia but you did it already well dun I did drive in london I was working as mine cab (taxes) & Ethiopia I am just like you like challenges wish you all the best the rest off the road or trip
Why you hate! And are obnoxious! Is this how you established your selfworth by bellitting other nations and people! You're Bullies! And fake accounts! I hope you are blocked! I'm reporting you!
Hi Christian! The surgery worked super well! and nick had almost no pain in the following days! now the long road to recovery is on and hopefully by being super serious about it we will be back on the road in no time ! Thank you for asking
:) n'hésite pas si tu as d'autres questions
good question Alan, in reality we are making enough money to fund our trip. We travel mainly on our work savings from before our departure. But we still declare our earnings from RUclips in France where we have our residence and we pay taxes on them as a little enterprise.
By the way, anyone who travels alone in a foreign country should have their head examined, especially in Mexico with all the crime. I'm glad Eva returned home. She may be able to do it in the US and Canada, but I would not recommend it in Mexico or S. America.
