I have a stupid question. Why 5 years ago having the 2070 super you can play farcry blah blah blah, and have 150-240 fps but now it falls all the way to 70-100.... isnt that weird?
Yep. Games are made to keep pushing the limits of GPUs to perpetuate the illusion that we need to keep upgrading our hardware. It's not consumers pushing for higher resource intensive games, it's NVIDIA.
@@UltraGameWorld Mabye I could upgrade to the 4060 RTX card that’ll give my pc till let’s say 2027? I could see that as an upgrade option I don’t need to spend another 1000/2000 on another pc right now. I got a 650 power supply and i5 9600k. So I think that’ll be a good upgrade card.
Would it be fair to say that the 2070 S is roughly the same as the PS5? It seems pretty console-like in performance numbers when at similar quality levels. Cheers! I have a strange affection for the 2070 S because it's in my ex wife's PC, and I often wonder how she's getting on (PC wise) now that we've been divorced for a couple of years. :) Strange reason, to be sure.
Cyber punk, last of us, or any of the benchmarking programs. Also if you make a part 2 can you say what components you have, mother board, ram, cpu, etc…
You’re lucky I got mine off eBay for 180 US dollar planning on using it on an AM5/ ITX build
Still not a bad price to be fair and it’s still a great card

Yeah I know modern games are unoptimised so therefore use more hardware resources then slightly older games
Because modern games are more demanding. 5 years ago 8 gb VRAM was sufficient. Today it's increasingly not.
You should take that as a note, it’s showing you how demanding newer games are.

Always good information on this channel
I love my 2070 pc. Got it 3 years ago should hold me over another 2 or 3 for 1080p gaming,
Yeah the 2070 super is going to still be a solid 1080p card for a few more years

@@pricelessppp Should upgrade to an i9 9900KS while you're at it, since that's the most powerful CPU your MOBO supports.
Thx man! I was wondering if mine was still good. I got my answer👍
No problem 👍
I have a 2070s im selling to a friend im trying to give him a decent price you think 180 is okay? Ive been seeing it go for a lot online too.
Yeah should be fine 180 to a friend, you might get a little more then that but that’s a fair price to sell to a friend I think
I got a 2070 super recently. Runs great.
Yeah still a really great card in 2024

Yes similar to PS5 level I think maybe slightly more powerful
Sir do you have a video of how to change termal pads and paste on gpu?
No but there are plenty of helpful videos of other creators who have done that video just search them up on RUclips
For 1440p gaming, does this card still great?
Probably more a 1080p card these days but some older titles can be ran 1440p fine using this card
@@UltraGameWorld ok thank you 🙏 🙂
It runs great on 1440p except on the newest game titles. You may want to use DLSS or FSR to get that most out of it
@@Tthemagicman ok thank you 🙏 🙂
did you change thermal paste and pads
No the graphics card just ran very cool and quiet once I got it
I bought one for 160, I probably could have got a better card but I’m not to mad
That’s still a real bargain mate well done it’s still a solid card
@@UltraGameWorldHow many years left do I have on my MSI 2070 super till I have to upgrade? I got my pc 3 years ago.
There was never a part 2 😔
What games are you wanting the benchmarks for? Might be able to do a part 2 in next few weeks if enough people want to see it

@@UltraGameWorld If you build it they will come.....well, if you film it people will watch.
*That's an absolute steal for £100! Done well.
Yeah was an amazing bargain, certainly a one off deal I got lucky with
how well would this work on elden ring?
Should be a good experience at 1080p low or medium, should hold a solid 60 fps average I would think
my one is running at 70c to 80c
That still a perfectly acceptable temperature anything under 80c is fine
Facebook marketplace gem 💎
Yeah was a great bargain to find
found it❤
Cool hope you enjoyed it
