Yes more honest and less confusing, but confusing for the guy if he just thinks 3 'no's' can lead to a 'yes'. Being polite by saying no, isn't that confusing? No is no has always been a problem for women. Sounds like dating a N Korean man can be terrifying to a woman.

@@ACP099 its all because of an idiotic custom that a woman is immodest if she accepts your request easily. I don't even mean sex I mean just going on dates and hanging out together. What I can't understand is why a woman is thought to be a bad woman if she just say - yes I also like you and want to date you! Let's go and meet on a rail track or river bank tomorrow ! This "say no even if you like him " is weird as he'll
and yeah again must be confusing as he'll for a lot of guys .

In Argentine was similar, but now you can divorce in a couple of month and you dont need
the consent of the other party. You can also get a divorce and deal with the division of assets later. Guetting divorce is no longer a battle, it is a right. If one of the two seeks to interrupt the marriage, all you have to do is appear before a judge. There are no guilt, no obligation to fulfill the promise of marriage, or causes that achieve one of the members claim for damages. Although the law does protect the spouse who suffers an imbalance due to divorce, recognizing the right to compensation.

Some people don't seem to understand that the way dating works there comes from necessity and not knowing anything different, not from them doing what they like and believe in. Some people do it to have fun and others do it to find someone they want a serious relationship with. So it is possible to find the best of both worlds, where as a woman, you have a lot of control over how the relationship goes and who you are dating, but at the same time, the man takes it seriously and intends to marry one day.

I also prefer the type of dating where it’s more like courting. It’s more traditional and romantic. It’s so hard to find someone who has the same values and who doesn’t just want to “date” just for fun or to have a good time. I was also brought up in a similar manner; that the purpose dating someone is to find your life partner. If I am not interested in marriage or the other person isn’t then there’s no reason to date. I’d love to find someone who’d send handwritten letters back and forth and is a true gentleman. Someone to watch the stars together, write poetry, play piano and sing together, make or get meaningful gifts for each and just take our time and not rush anything. To me even just holding hands is a big step. I know this isn’t how things are these days, but I just personally prefer courting over what dating has turning into.

I agree that I also want to find my life partner, but it doesn't mean it has to be the one I'm with at the moment. It can take a few tries and love is what love is. You may not want to be in a relationship with someone anymore you've been dating for awhile. I do strongly agree, as well, that dating should be respectful, meaningful, unrushed, and romantic. I am only 30, but at 24 years old I began writing letters to someone. I met them in person the day after my 25th birthday. We started dating, and because there is not a lot to do in small towns and we don't have a lot of money, most off our dates were going on long walks, talking over a campfire, or cooking together at home.
We were married 11months after we met in person, and have been married for 5 years, are very happy, and will probably be married for the rest of our lives.

To be honest this American "dating" (i.e. noncommittal, "just having fun") isn't much of a thing in Europe. It's becoming more of a thing due to US cultural influence though. I'm pretty happy it's not much of a thing though. No ambiguity. No "We've been dating 3 years, are we a couple now?". "let's go on a date" means "Let's see if we are compatible for a relationship".

Thats not true. You'll have to specify where in europe you experience this, because in northern europe people are a lot more noncommital than in american culture. One night stands are completely normalized and people get horrified and scared if the other person has feelings. There are good and bad parts to it, but yeah

@Robby Dey I think u would need to define dating...I live in Oklahoma and can tell u for sure The odds that your parents are together are very slim my father has had 5 wives and I am 27 .. i know 1 family that is The mother and father of all of their kids and have been married since shortly after high school...
Tender is for hookups you may accidentally find a wife but how many people did you sleep through before you settled on that 1. Again I've met lots of people and none of them have ever told me the tender wasn't just for a one night hook up I have met at least a 100 people my friends in strangers in bars and parties that open tender in swipe right on everybody And filter through the matches they get later.
Everyone I know who is in a relationship or is married met this person organically in person or through friends
It's very rare to find kids that their parents are still married at least in the US ... Again I've only met one family that still married that their kids can say that their parents live in the same house in still sleep in the same bed. literally everyone else I've ever met My family, my friends family, my families friends i only know 1 that isn't divorced

I hate what "dating" has become in western countries. I'm always so reluctant to start dating someone because it happened to me twice that the guy I had genuine feelings for just wanted to have sex once and then break up. It's giving me trust issues and I have just turned my back on dating for good for now.

Since the dating culture in North Korea doesn't seem like one that would lead to a lot of premarital sex, but given that's common in practically every culture both present and historical, I was wondering what North Korea does about abortions given I know that I know that China has used forced abortion ever since they began the One Child policy(now Two child policy). Does North Korea also carry out forced abortions?

No, you don’t get used to American dating culture, and you shouldn’t. I dated guys from the age of 14 to 24 before I got married. My husband and I met online April 1st, and when we met in person in June we decided to get married. We were married on November 5th. It was fast, but we both liked each other, and were so sick of dating, that we didn’t see a reason to delay! We’ve been married for nine years and it was the best decision of our lives!

  • @PaulPetrulis
    @PaulPetrulis 3 года назад

I was born in the 50’s, and back in that time dating was more proper and structured. Today in America it seems most everything goes and many are just looking for a good time. There is a downsize to having too much like we have in America,, we lost a lot of appreciation for our traditional ways of the past. It’s still the best country in the world to live in. I do love the commitment of marriage and choosing only one woman to be with and love. I could be called ‘old fashioned’ but my lifestyle works well for me. Been married now for 42 years and we still love each other and do so much together . We are independent, and we are also a team. Your stories are so amazing... I'm the same age as you, from in Eastern Europe. So, obviously, my generation felt such huge changes because of the fall of USSR. I am very happy that I have a chance to date freely and have options - but I completely agree on your views on dating culture. My younger friends are so much into casual dating, hook-ups and apps, and I never felt like it was an organic way to find love. It was like shopping for the best dress. It didn't just make things difficult for me, but for all serious people. You constantly have to evaluate if the person really feels something or if they just see you as someone to "experiment with and see how things go". This word "looking for someone serious" is thrown around so much, we don't care about it anymore. So you spend long amounts of time observing, looking, evaluating, questioning the person. Imagine two people like each other and both people are doing this.
