Throwback to when Winchester deaths were actually impactful and tragic

@etazeta674 I know man. This scene was more horrifying than most horror movies I've watched. Especially considering Eternal Damnation is my absolute worst fear. I could not possibly imagine anything more horrifying and depressing than being sent to Hell. But Jensen Ackles did a Fantastic job at playing Dean Winchester and I think his realistic acting made it even scarier.
I remember watching this for the first time and being so shocked!

Maybe for you, but when you lose everything it hurts that bad that you can't handle it, you keep asking why and then you see how you can solve this problem, you don't think about consequences you just feel your pain and you'll do whatever it takes to this pain go away, you think about what you did when its too late to change it.

Fun fact: she also starred in A nightmare on Elm Street (2009) and her death was almost the same as deans in this scene

YES! When I first saw this, I was so scared! Then I had dreamt me and my friends were running from hellhounds when we were shopping. So we ran to our cabin in the woods
How are they different from simply a man with a gun?
If you see a hellhound, it's absolutely a dream. Like light switches that don't work, or a door that leads where it shouldn't lead. All triggers for that sweet lucid dream. And to control a lucid dream, expectation is the only law of nature. You expect it to be real, it becomes real. In the dream, that is.
Sam and Dean first death always hit hard- and is so much worse that both of them had to experience each other deaths, and Dean’s was so much brutal than Sam’s, having to witness your older brother being ripped apart, because he sold his soul for *_YOU_* is horrible in so many ways
This scene always gets me back to watch the show again

Seeing the bros die is heart-wrenching. But for some reason seeing Dean die, hits me or shocks me even harder. Maybe just cuz he seems to die less, with the exception or the Ground Hog's Day episode.
The ending of Supernatural must've been heartbreaking for you then.

I thought this was the worst the show could get... But I was wrong, watching it now, it's sad but nothing compared to future seasons.
They actually had something of a different plan for Season 3, but the Writer's Strike threw that out of whack. It's also why the season was so short.

I really wish they did more with him being in hell. Atleast through the seasons have flashbacks of the torture he spoke about. We pretty much just had to figure out on our own he was breaking down bc he went to hell without more in depth context.

As a Christian, I ask myself the same questions when I feel cynical. But at the root of it all, hell is separation from God. God does not force people to be with Him. If people hate God and want nothing to do with Him, technically hell is what they want. So they get what they want in the end.

How did Dean know that wasn't Ruby?
Because earlier in the episode dean and Sam got pulled over by a cop who was actually a demon and the reason he knew it wasn't ruby is because it was almost time for him to die, SO that means he can see all the real demons hiding in other people body, I hope that helps ☺️

It's the same reason why he could see bloodhounds, and remember, it's impossible to see bloodhounds unless they're coming for you
And I'm guessing it's the same reason how only dying people can see reapers. So basically since Dean was already a dead man he could see the real face of demons

I like her from the freddy krueger movie, but her acting, as she's possessed is too over the top for me :( thr same way when children try too hard to act evil sometimes in movies even the extremely talented JODELLE FERDINAND was too over the top in parts of CASE 39...i think one great example of a positive balanced performance was the young girl in the PET SEMETARY remake!! I thought ELLE, after she came back, was so well done! What does everyone think about my comments?? 🤔

you know something rewatching this Sam and Dean they should have already known that it wasn't Ruby it was Lilith because she busted out of and escaped from the devil's trap. something that's impossible and it can't be done and a demon shouldn't be able to do at all i mean seriously though Sam and Dean are idiots at the end of this episode because they should have already known that it wasn't Ruby as soon as she showed up at the house. i mean like seriously though they never questioned how Ruby was able to escape from the Devil's trap or thought it was odd or a little suspicious even if they didn't question that they should have at least "found" that a little suspicious. so they should have already known it wasn't Ruby and actually Lilith and that she was "possessed" but Supernatural this is a very good show though and this was a very good episode though the only thing bad about it is the Winchester's failing to save Dean and not getting him out of his crossroads deal and him dying and going to hell. but at least cass brought him back at the beginning of season four when the angels👼 were introduced into the series.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
