Going up against demons, vampires, werewolves, shapshifters, Leviathans, Djinns, Ghouls, demigods, witches, Wraiths, Ghosts, Wendigos, spirits, Changelings, Jefferson Starships, Clowns, Scarecrow, the four horsemen, angels and even Archangels like Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael among other things. They lose family and find new people they call family. They have gone to heaven and worse for each other and will do it all over again. Cause that's what FAMILY does and "Family don't end with blood". Follow the adventures of the awesome Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester who lost his shoe and is deathly afraid of clowns, on their journey to avert the next apocalypse and save the world. @John Weak Sam and Dean have never fully relied on help to do what they do aside from each other. They’ve seeked out help but even when it didn’t come, especially from chuck, they did what they do anyway. They’ve made more deals with devils than they’ve relied on God
in fact chuck don't cotrol them, ss15 has proven enough, chuck just throws what he likes at sam and dean the decisions are still up to them, Chuck wrote a book but it only steals stories that sam and dean have been through it's not because he wrote it that it will happen.
Come on Jack, Dean'll break every rule ever made to save Sam.. you should know that by now.

So that's why that drive Dean went on in Heaven took so long and really this wrapped things up for Supernatural soooo much better! Jensen kept his word that this would all make sense by the end of season. They really need to keep it going, have Dean continue as a guardian...let Mary and John choose their lives.
maybe not just Dean, but those other Hunters or past Men of Letters, that still have that drive to "Protect"! Hell, why not put Heaven's version of the Men of Letters in charge of cataloging Heaven's arsenal!?

A perfect ending that made more sense instead of the one we got in Supernatural because of covid. Jack made a better heaven than the one Chuck made where you just relieve your greatest memories.
the fans don't seem to like the spinoff/prequel, cause it's not "Exactly the OG-SPN they were used to!" & yet, if you take a step back, you'll see it isn't all that bad, in the long run!
This was a great episode. Loved seeing Jack, Bobby, Rowena and especially Dean. Hope there is more next season

I was concerned at first but I had that theory about it being a multiverse situation. Was a nice spin on how Dean came into the show with some extra.

I'm so glad that this is an alternate universe because it bugs the hell out of me knowing how things ended for John and Mary in the original main timeline watching this knowing that John and Mary have a shot at living a longer life is like a dream come true.
In this universe Dean can actually finally have a childhood. Gosh I would to see that. Dean deserved the happy ending the most. He still does🤞🏻

I will say this is a legitimately creative way to address the continuity issues with the show. By making this another earth in the multiverse this show is actually a sequal to supernatural rather than a true prequel. It even leaves the door open for fan-favorites like Dean, Castiel, Bobby etc. To appear from time-to-time without breaking canon. I'm ok with this.
Jack's way of making the rules about no exceptions, no interference etc. would be a same mindset original Death would say. At least Jack has a same mindset as original Death because they care about keeping the world in balance.

THIS IS SO HUGE!!! I kind of cried a little seeing them all. This is definitely a precursor to what's about to come for a new season of Supernatural!!! I love how they filled in the gaps.

Yep and apparently there in talks to have jeffery dean morgan to do something as john if they do another project so having him travel around with baby would be good and he never met castial would be cool to see him travel with with cas and do a cool story with those two maybe be angel like cops/hunters hunting supernatural forces together.

I loved how they did this made it all make sense in the end. Also answered questions, from the final season of supernatural, if Jack/God restarted and remade the multiverse and he did.

I always figured this was a alternate reality cause the differences from what we saw in supernatural lol. But that's cool how they explained how dean there plus got bobby and jack lol. Thought Chuck destroyed all the other worlds but I guess not lol or with our world continuing on automatically starts spouting out alternate realities I guess lol. No, we really don't. Okay, look, supernatural was an amazing series, but let's not pretend past season 5 the show's quality went way down and became inconsistent. I loved the season 10 storyline with amara and all, but by that time you had a witch, Rowena, capable of fighting forces of creation, lmao. It had a beautiful 15 season run, it does not need more.

Love to have seen Castiel as well. It would have explained the whole if he was still in the Empty or if he is in Heaven. Some SPN folks believe he's in the Empty. I know he's not. Jack restored everything including getting Castiel out and back with him.

Cas is in heaven and was helping. The reason he isn't there is probably simply that the actor was filming for his new TV series.
I think Jack rescued Castiel, & then hit it up with Bobby & Mary, & they decided how things should be!
I would love to see "New God" Jack, go down to Hell & chat up Rowena! (Hell, maybe he also rescued Crowley from the Empty, & let him stay by his mother's side!)
u cant restore empty when it beginning and never changed until jack interfered and jack said no interfere meaning castiel has go there all angels and demon go there monster so on unless jack pulled god move like resurrecting lucifer
@@ericx6969 more than likely, Jack rescued his Surrogate-Father from the Empty, then with Castiel's take on things, maybe even Crowley's take... they restructured Heaven... by removing all the "lonely-rooms" & making it all one area!
As for Jack's statements of "non-interference" I think he only meant for the "Lower Realms"... meaning anywhere that doesn't included Heaven & Hell & Purgatory!
(Though I'm sure Jack may have or might still restructure Purgatory, so as to allow or let some monster's into Heaven... Maybe set it up so they aren't "Hungry" anymore while in Heaven!)

From what I read they changed a few episodes at the end of the season because they didn't believe they were getting approved for a second season, so they made it a finale to the series that gives things an actual ending to the story. Ada losing part of her soul was going to carry over to the next season, but that changed. It's probably best to take this info with a grain of salt. TBH the finale did seem rushed so it wouldn't be surprising if the info is correct.

Seems history repeats itself. Just like when Jensen Ankles played Jason Teague in Smallville, then eventually, they offered a tv show called Supernatural where Jensen Ankles plays Dean Winchester. Now when Winchester comes to an end, Misha Collins is going to play Harvey Dent in Gotham Knights.
It was a great show. I loved seeing all the old characters and especially Deen coming back after saving Mary, or I guess "Baby" did. I have always loved that car. Remember well in the flashback of when John bought her.

Now I get why Jensen said it could be difficult to include Sam into the story. At this point in his life I doubt that Sam has anything to do with alternate universes anymore. Makes sense to me if Jared won't appear at all.
I liked the fact that Dean is still all about protecting Sam. But I doubt that there will be more than this mention of Sam in Future episodes.
This explanation also limits the possibility of Dean having more screen time too. He wouldn't do anything that could harm Sam and his family.
@@beagologin1613 yes since Sam is finally living a Normal life Dean wouldn't do anything to ruin that for him, so I do not anticipate that Jared is going to have any involvement in this, maybe there might be some mentions about Sam here and there but I do not think that Sam(Jared) will make any appearances in the series as far as I know
Dean, on the contrary, will do everything to prevent Sam from appearing there, because he knows. that his brother is finally living a normal, human life with his wife and son. He won't let it get ruined and Sam gets dragged into it again.

To be fair to Dean, he technically wasn't interfering if one of his goals was to clean up the last of Chuck's failsafes. He was just interfering with the old management's interference.

I wondered why Jack kept the Akida at all, but perhaps he willed it? Perhaps he let Dean intervene & gave Mary the gun to kill Yellow-eyes. That way, theres one world where Sammy is normal, Satan doesnt return & they live a happy life. Jack knew that this was the only outcome that would give Dean peace & allow him to rest. Maybe it was all Jack's gift to Dean.

And honestly, I think Jack can forgive this because it was the last battle of the previous god. Dean wasn't technically meddling. He was stopping a fail safe so that Jack's decision not to interfere could actually be carried out.
Thankfully they introduced the multiverse in Supernatural with the introduction of Apocalypse World, when Jack's birth tore a hole in reality. Otherwise, I don't think the multiverse twist of this episode would've made sense. It would've felt forced.

Okay, now that I know that this happens, I can actually see Winchesters as a genuine sequel and not a prequel. Well done for keeping a secret like this under wraps fro so long. I actually stopped watching Winchesters because I thought the timeline was getting warped, but no, it's an alternate universe, with a different Mary and John. Very clever.

Litteraly JUST got done watching the finale and absolutely loved it and the new characters we got especially Carlos only thing that would have made it better is if we got carry on my wayward son at the end like in the supernatural finale but I understand why we didn't wouldn't wanna make things repetitive other then that absolutely perfect show A+ in my opinion!
Celestial Dean is just different.... he's like Obi-Wan when he became Jedi Master, all wise, introspective and serene. Imbued with an inner peace. There's no more conflict in him, just determination, resolve.

If this is an alternate universe, doesn't that mean there is a chance to save Henry? He is in the future at this point but that future has an opportunity to change. He really doesn't need to die just get stuck there long enough for John to get to this age without his dad.

Chuck leaving monsters to do the job he had already done should he fail is ridiculous. He had already wiped out all Earths, our Earth was the final one. So how was there another Earth with monsters ready to wipe out what was left? On top of the obvious continuity error (no Planets), Chuck would not expect to fail, he believed himself to be unstoppable, and failure could never happen. So we're to believe he would set up a failsafe to do what he had already done, and could do over and over again with a click of his fingers?
I really hope Dean comes back in season 2 if they make it and how come he didn't tell them who he was he wanted to so badly
