I took a break from RUclips's landscape photography because it's just so repetitive and I got tired of it. But tonight I wanted to break the ice again and so I put my trust into Mr.Gibbs and I was never so satisfied and delighted. (also makes me want to get some Brie cheese as well 🤤)
Words cannot describe how beautiful this is - as said by others, the ending is perfect. You've created something so wonderful here Adam - thank you for sharing with us.
Hello Adam, your work is ' Exemplary in the Extreme ' how fortunate you are to have a very good friend in Jeremy, a great companion on your Photo Ventures. Your images were so good that I could have wept with joy! Loved looking at those extraordinary scenes which were captured in so many styles and speeds which shows the mastery of your subject of photography. You must rightly be proud of your persistence and dedication to get the best from this special location. I imagine after the many viewing these images that at the next Fall/Autumn many shall turn - up there now. That vital piece of kit of those fishing - waders allowed you to get to those compositions which created this amazing workflow, for without them these images could not have been taken. Congratulations and I am so proud of you ...
Thank you Adam. I have only begun my journey of photography about 6 months ago. I just cant believe I never started it earlier in my life. I am just in love with it. All aspects of it. Action, landscapes, birds, long exposure…..etc, etc. You and Garvin Softcastle as well as a few others have encouraged us to get out the and experience life through the lens. Thank you so much.
Hi Adam - The strength of your photos on this series of posts from the Canadian Rockies has inspired me to reach out for the first time and congratulate you on some truly wonderful work. I've been a loyal fan for a couple years now because I appreciate your cultivated vision and, like you, I think this is some of your very finest work. You made the very most of the unique conditions. Bravo!
My favourite all time Canadian landscape photographer is Freeman Patterson - and I think these are the kinds of images that he would be very proud of Adam. Brilliant, beautiful and subtle - nice work Adam.
Those images were so gorgeous! The reflections were perfect! Soooo pleasing to the eye. Birch trees submerged with fall colors. Heaven. I paused on every image with mouth wide open....so beautiful and inspirational!! There is nothing out there that adds to a photo like fall colors, I live in the white mountains of NH and look forward to fall more than any other season. Astrophotography with autumn colors light painted is so amazing!! Finding my passion for photography has changed my life, I am always looking for the next beautiful moment to capture and share.....take someone out of the lockdown corona panic day for even a few seconds. This video and the images you captured did that for me and I thank you. Great video Adam :)
Tour de force; breathtakingly gorgeous. Watching you both at that campfire quietly appreciating some of the best work of a career ... it must have been quite a satisfying moment.
Simply stunning. When it all comes together! A GFX 100 in the hands of a world class photographer who happens to live in Canada. A few stars lined up there.
You are absolutely right about putting in the time and indeed, most of us don’t have the luxury to put in lots of time, but for me the secret is actually accumulation and compromise, meaning that if you have limited time, then also limit your scope, shoot less variety so that whatever little time you have, at least you’re spending it honing one particular style or genre. This way at least you’ll be solid at one discipline after many years, which I fine more and more satisfying (perhaps with age). Sometimes I even find it a relief telling people that I’m no good at street photography or shooting portraits, it just puts their expectations into the correct place.
I feel so incredibly inspired after watching your videos. I just want to get outside and take pictures although I resign myself to knowing I will not have anything like your images. You truly are an artist with light.
At 25, I can only hope that my future years will be spent in the same simple, rich mindset and quiet grit that you all embody. Thank you for sharing the natural beauties that I dream of seeing and keeping us all motivated to constantly get back outside!
Tucked away in this epic video about so much more than technique, starting at 8:00, is a convincing demonstration of the value of the geared head (and masks) in fine tuning a composition.
Adam, saw myself watching this series and constantly shaking my head and saying to myself: “lucky bas....!” All the images are amazing, your way to handle them is one of a kind and and as you say, “it all comes together”. I can only find one downsize to your images of this series: they are not mine!!! All the best to you and please keep on amazing us with your work. One day, maybe one day, I’ll get close. 😌
I have to say Adam you are my inspiration to strive towards. Your artistic talent and eye and your videos have really helped me in my journey of becoming a photographer. Although I don't have the equipment and use my phone as my platform. Your subject matter on focusing on the composition rather than having the latest and best high tech equipment, to me that sets you apart from others on RUclips. Thank you for sharing your work and adventures for all of us to enjoy. 🙏
👏👏👏 for the excellent photos and 👏👏👏👏👏 for this wonderful mini series. Your enthusiasm is infectious and highlights the benefit of not racing from one location to another but exploring every avenue of just one. My camera club friends have enjoyed it too!
Adam, your artistry shines through in both these beautiful images but also the quality of the entire video series. The concluding montague is absolutely supurb - I almost missed it. Perfectly chosen music as well. Thanks for the excellent series of videos.
the greatest pictures that i have seen in your video, I think Claude Monet would have loved to immortalize theses fabulous scenes with theirs colors ....
The two geezers sipping their drinks starting at around 17:00 remind me so much of a suddenly positive version of Waldorf and Statler. Probably because I share the hair color with Adam.... Fantastic images !!!
Would love to see a 'zine or book of this trip, along with some narrative from you on compositional choices you made in getting these incredible shots.
Wow!! Adam these are tremendous shots. As you said, virtually they are all portfolio standard. Yes, of course you were presented with an absolutely incredible palette of colours, but your compositions are marvellous.
Great photography. I've been photographing aspens for years as a hobbyist and am very envious that you're able to live on site for several days. I've never had the opportunity to be in a location where the aspen grove has been flooded at peak season, providing the plethora of opportunities. Funny, but I put myself in your location and saw all types of different shots. Yours are very unique and outstanding. Thanks for sharing the series of videos. I thoroughly enjoyed them. Sam T.
Brilliant - I bet leaving was a wrench just in case the next change of light was THE best. I have been in love with Aspens since seeing Steven Friedman's panoramics in the Steffich Fine Art Gallery on Saltspring. Your shots however, with the water in play, beat his hands down. Now, how can they be taken to the next level? Bring on the White Horses of the Carmargue galloping through the lake in the distance......
So many brilliant photos in this video and from this location. I can truly understand why you would consider this one of you best days of photography and I can't imagine a better ending than sitting by the fire. Thank you for your videos, they are always so relaxing!
Perfectly beautiful. There’s something about the images you create, that when put with music of soul depth, do something within us. A gift for the world.
Beautiful photographs, Adam! How fortunate that this very productive visit to this location coincided with your use of the 100 MP Fuji👍😁. Well played, sir! Wow would I like to visit that location, camera in hand!
So many nice comments here, they all say better than I can what I think of this video, so I say: Amen. It sure was entertaining, enjoyable and most of all inspiring. Thanks for posting.
Yet another stunning collection of photos Adam. A couple in there reminded me of Monet. This video has left me feeling peaceful, joyful and inspired: thank you!! 🙏
So nice to hear you both say what a wonderful experience it was, I just came out of the Okefenokee on a three day paddle with some great guys so the feeling of sitting at the campfire after after a long day of good accomplishment is something special.
Absolutely brilliant Adam. I agree this location proved incredibly fruitful. From the looks of it you could make your next calendar using images just from this trip.
Coming back to your top tip to put the time in, I run indeed into the issue that I have a 9-5 job. And although I know our small country (Luxembourg) very well due to my past job, I've restricted myself to a very local woodland area almost at my doorstep which in the 70's was a mining area but is now overgrown and has even a Unesco biosphere reserve label. Due to my self limitation to this very small area (everything in reach by foot within max 1 1/2 hour), I get to know the area very well, hone my skills and come home every time with different pictures, or maybe the same but better executed. In the long run, this helps me take better images on all possible places I might visit.
What a glorious trip Adam. Such an amazing bounty of images from a single trip. The image at 16:15 is like a Monet painting in real life. Wonderful my friend.
Seen this a couple of times now. Beautiful images and presentation. And a great companion too. I was imagining myself in the water as you were and thinking yep that's dedication! My go to person for a relaxing video👍
Fantastic photos as usual Adam! What a wonderful world we live in to give us such beauty! The satisfaction of your trip and shots you have will last you for a long time ime sure! :) thanks again for sharing
I shouldn't be commenting because I don't have the words to describe how beautiful these images and video are, but I just had to tell you, Adam. Absolutely stunning work. Thank you for sharing. 🙏
When it comes to RUclips landscape photography, there's Adam Gibbs and there's.................... everyone else.
I took a break from RUclips's landscape photography because it's just so repetitive and I got tired of it. But tonight I wanted to break the ice again and so I put my trust into Mr.Gibbs and I was never so satisfied and delighted.
(also makes me want to get some Brie cheese as well 🤤)
Who else whishes to be also sit around that fire... ? What an amazing shots!
Memories for a lifetime...thank you my friend.
sure was!
You did a great job driving Adam to the right place with your camper and providing delicious meals!
Words cannot describe how beautiful this is - as said by others, the ending is perfect. You've created something so wonderful here Adam - thank you for sharing with us.
One of the most beautiful RUclips landscape videos I’ve ever seen. Simply stunning. Loved the music choice for the end, so fitting.
Well worth turning these into another book, drop dead gorgeous.
Without a doubt one of my favorite nature photographs ever laid down. Such a beautiful moment.
I want a book of this fabulous week in the Rockies.

Is there an award for best RUclips video of the year? This one sure would have my vote.

The right photographers at the right place at the right time. Truly fine work.
Your set of photographs from the Canadian Rockies are to photography what St. Peter’s Basilica is to Renaissance architecture. Stunning.
This series is top shelf for me. You can't beat Aspen trees with blue turquoise waters and bonus Autumn colors. That is jackpot stuff.
Sometimes one can hit the landscape lottery. What a spot.
10,000 words couldn't do justice to what I just saw.
My favourite all time Canadian landscape photographer is Freeman Patterson - and I think these are the kinds of images that he would be very proud of Adam. Brilliant, beautiful and subtle - nice work Adam.
Adam, Adam, Adam! The best vlog you’ve ever made!! Just said to the wife, I have to go here and maybe one day with you. Take care my friend 🙏
Thanks, mate! yeah it's going to be hard to top that trip.
No doubt one of the best landscape photography videos on RUclips.
Good photography, and it sounds like you've eaten very well. The perfect week and a great song to close. Cheers indeed!

WOW!! Put these in a book, I’ll buy it!!! That last photo brought tears to my eyes.
Adam, this video transcends photography, it says everything anyone has ever said about anything.
Stunning. I would strongly consider taking these fall images and making another book. Just fabulous !
Tour de force; breathtakingly gorgeous. Watching you both at that campfire quietly appreciating some of the best work of a career ... it must have been quite a satisfying moment.
The colors in the reflexions are so brilliant!
Simply stunning. When it all comes together! A GFX 100 in the hands of a world class photographer who happens to live in Canada. A few stars lined up there.

Well said!
Such stunning photos of an amazing location! I agree with the other comments that these could make up a book or an exhibition all by themselves.
Best part of the video was watching you two sitting by the fire.
Incredible colours with a dream-like quality to them. So like oil paintings it's hard to say for sure even when you know they aren't. Awesome.
I feel so incredibly inspired after watching your videos. I just want to get outside and take pictures although I resign myself to knowing I will not have anything like your images. You truly are an artist with light.

The picture at 11:10 is jaw-dropping! 20:41 and 21:11 are out of this world! Unbelieveable! Such amazing light and colours!
Adam, your artistry shines through in both these beautiful images but also the quality of the entire video series. The concluding montague is absolutely supurb - I almost missed it. Perfectly chosen music as well. Thanks for the excellent series of videos.
Wow, just wow. What a completely mesmerising photograph. Probably a top 5 of yours all time! The following ones were also great
That will be a memory you guys never will forget, cause you have lots and lots of stunning Photos to back it up. 👌

Adam, your slow-pho is so amazing. It's pure carme and so inspiring...great work and great shots..thank you..
The two geezers sipping their drinks starting at around 17:00 remind me so much of a suddenly positive version of Waldorf and Statler. Probably because I share the hair color with Adam.... Fantastic images !!!
Hi Adam These images and a couple by Simon Baxter are the finest I have seen this year across the web, fantastic compositions and colours.
Adam, this is the best autumn photography series I have seen on youtube for years!! Thank you for taking us with you, on this amazing trip!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Would love to see a 'zine or book of this trip, along with some narrative from you on compositional choices you made in getting these incredible shots.
Great idea!
I would buy it!
Just INCREDIBLE pictures by a EXTREMELY TALENTED photographer.
best ending to a youtube video ever
I think this has to be my favorite series of photos. The whole thing, every photo is captivating. Just so perfect.

Yeah, IPA and nice warm fire to reflect on the experience and photography. Great end to the series. Absolutely stunning images.
Beautiful, really, really, beautiful. Colors are simply awesome. IPA is a good way to end the day.

Best set of images from the series.....
Two old geezers and a bonfire having a great time :-). Stunning images! What a trip.
That about sums it up beautifully
Well, that is what you call a collection of great shots. Beautifully put together to make a fantastic video. You are the master of your trade! 👏
Perfectly beautiful. There’s something about the images you create, that when put with music of soul depth, do something within us. A gift for the world.

Trip of a Lifetime ! Mind Blowing Photography ! Thanks Man
Absolutely brilliant Adam. I agree this location proved incredibly fruitful. From the looks of it you could make your next calendar using images just from this trip.
Gorgeous shots Adam and lovely way to wind down before I turn in. All the videos have made me feel I've been there with you both. Great work!

What a stunning place. Beautiful colours. Lovely photos Adam. And a nice way to finish.
What an incredible series. Wow. I'm excited for my calendar but I daresay I'm more excited for next year's with a photo from this series.
Adam, I had to watch the video again all I can say is STUNNING. Thank you again for sharing.
Thank you for the very fine series in the Canadian Rockies and the stunningly beautiful images
Excellent detail, composition, and color.
Stunning! Stunning! Stunning! I'm knocked out!
Great song to add at the end. Really hit the mark.
Definitely came out with a good chapter worth of images for the next book 👍🏻
Brilliant photographs, so peaceful and inspirational.
This video reminded me why I fell in love with photography. A great reminder. I needed that. Thank you.
👌👌👌 Adam! You will have enough material for another book!
I hope these images are included in a future book.
Fantastic photos as usual Adam! What a wonderful world we live in to give us such beauty!
The satisfaction of your trip and shots you have will last you for a long time ime sure! :) thanks again for sharing
