Thank you, Adam. It was a sincere pleasure to share this past year with you. Ironically, after your visit to Valley of Fire - a park I never new existed - we drove down from Tacoma to see for ourselves. Incredible - and a state, not a federal park. We were then in Death Valley when the world shut down - and made our way back quickly. So many of us enjoy your calm descriptions and the insight you offer into your creative process. As it happens, we were in Scotland and on Skye a couple of months before - also magical. Look forward to following you in 2021! Thanks for all you do.
Adam you are the first person we have seen ‘celebrating’ 2020 and that is such a positive way to look at it. No doubt it has been very challenging for a lot of people but the positive way you look at a situation makes all the difference in your happiness level. Whilst lockdown stopped us travelling we were fortunate to go on many adventures with you. Your photography is amazing and the drone footage seems to get better and better. Happy New Year, looking forward to many more adventures with you.
Amen to the running man! Got lucky and picked up that habit a few months before the pandemic began and it makes ALL the difference. Pretty incredible. Thanks for the year in review, this was great.
It was very enjoyable to see your top 2020 photos. Nice to know you are also a runner/photographer. I was supposed to come over from the US to run the 2020 London Marathon. I have found combining travel, racing, and photography a great combination, except for the need to limit walking prior to race day. Here's to a great 2021 for all.
ultrarunning is a great hobby complement to photography: you get to discover new places and cover a lot of distance, therefore scout more locations, and you also get to see the light change the landscape. I did a 50 miler in Gold Beach OR in 2019 and it just about floored me with its beauty. Took lots of pictures afterwards. Awesome content Adam!
Your videos served as a great escape for the rest of us through out the year. I really found myself looking forward to them. In a year where we couldn't travel or often even go outside and there was little mainstream entertainment being produced these videos were really a treasure.
Actually watched this yesterday on my TV but that doesn't allow me to comment. These were wonderful images. I suspect your perchance for more intimate scenes relates to your earlier garden photography. But your vistas are just as gorgeous. Indeed, the one from Iceland with the brown/warm toned mountains and the steam really appealed to me. I had to add it to the photos I already ordered. One of the things that really appeals to me about your photos is that you don't overprocess them but use natural light to bring out the beauty. Thanks for this video and all the work you shared in 2020. I'm looking forward to your videos in 2021.
I'm exactly the same as in introvert. I do my own thing and come away with better images when on my own. I have no mates through my choice, the virus hasn't changed my life one bit. I don't socialise, drink, don't go to sporting events, no cinema or theatre, no holidays overseas. Some might say I'm a boring twat lol but my images speak quality, I'm happy and harm no one. I have a great laugh at work with the lads but it ends at clocking out time. Happy new year Adam, looking forward to more of your work this year.
You forgot to mention the wildly successful woolly beanies that Karin knitted! Plus the calendar! You have been busy. I've just been re-watching the F4 Roadtrip that past few days and its something you all should be really proud of. Best wishes for 2021! Cheers!
What fascinates me is how you'll pick out details from a scene that is really unique and stunning at the same time. A great example is the wave detail at Cape Disappointment. I would be really curious as to what you would do with a popular spot like the main canyon area in Yosemite or Zion. Your videos are inspiring. Would you ever do a video tour of your van?
There is a certain serenity about all your photos which I really love. So nice to hear a positive message amongst all the current gloom. All the best for 2021 Adam.
I also resemble the remarks about being an introvert and just like staying home. I have been working from home part time for about 2 and half years, so the stay at home orders were not that big a deal for me. Always love your channel Adam! Looking forward to more beautiful content and adventures in 2021.
Absolutely beautiful images. Your book Quiet Light is one of my favourite photography books too. Very inspirational. Thank you and looking forward to 2021!
I hear you on the running takes up all your time, I started running with a small camera strapped to my running pack, combined my two favorite hobbies. Thanks for all the hard work and great videos!
As usual, wonderful images, and delivered flawlessly. Thanks for all the nice videos, all the tips and tricks, and to sharing Your thoughts. Yes, it's all about the light. Happy New Year!
Beautiful photos Adam and I am glad that 2020 was not too bad for you. I thank you for you videos and inspiration and I love the f4 course. One thing you mentioned in one of your favorites was the Alabama Hills including a mention that you may return sometime. If you do, I would highly recommend that you hed east also when you are inb Lone Pine and go up to the Ancient Bristol Pine Cone Forest-Higly recommend especiall think you will enjoy since you tend to mention your like for more detail Landscape which BristolCOnes will provide in Buckets. Also if you do, please feel free to give me a heads up and I would love to meet up with you and share a cup of Coffee, plus that area is not far from where I lay my head a good part of the year. Best to you and Karen, be safe and may 2021 be a great year for you and everyone.
I really enjoyed this video.Have a great 2021 . You sure do not come across as Grumpy when your by yourself. Thanks for a years worth of ideas, instruction and laughs
You sir are incredibly generous and have just sentenced yourself to weeks and weeks of printing; thanks a million! These images are inspiring, beautiful and fill me with excitement to get outside. Image #9 is my favorite; personal preference would be to clone out the black bit on the top left of the little island and likewise for the 2 black specks on the top left of the larger island. At any rate, it looks like the ILPOTY 2021 trophy will making a trip to Parksville
Like you I pretty much do the same thing go out as necessary then return home, and as introverts for the most part we are not that comical, but when the presence of others who are it brings out the crazy in us. I really enjoy your videos and consider you work with Gavin a delight.
Adam your images are just absolutely incredible!! I purchased your book and have it prominently displayed in my living room - everyone is just amazed at the beauty in your images! Thanks for 2020 and I am looking forward to GREAT things in 2021!
All of these images were great, but I was certain some of your fall birch trees in the flooded lake would make the cut. Some of those really caught my eye. Great work either way!
Nice pictures. I am a little bit surprised that you haven’t included any pictures from your Alberta trip. Those included a couple of my faves of your 2020.
Good work. Likewise, my year wasn't't affected by COVID ... so much as other health issues which kept me close to home. Still, getting out, even close to home, can be fruitful if you keep your eyes open.
Definitely a good year for you, some very nice images indeed. I enjoy photography since it is a perfect hobby for an introvert 😊 so the new social rules haven’t had significant impact on me as well.
2020 was the year like no other for me. I learned more post processing than I had in all the years since I went to digital combined. A good bit of my new knowledge as well as inspiration came as a result of your videos. When it is safe to travel I will be looking to take one of your workshops.
Some fantastic images Adam, plus you didn't include any of those wonderful shots from Abraham lake. That's one hell of a good shot score, considering what a year we've had. Happy New Year to you & Karen. Stay safe buddy.
So you have pulled me in I became a monthly subscriber and even bought another shirt, so with to photos coming in invested, lol. But I truly enjoy your content, thanks a lot I have learned so much from you.
While I love all those images I am stunned that you didn't include any of the images from your trip to the Rockies with Jeremy Jackson this fall. Those exquisite compositions and the beautiful fall colours of birch trees reflected in the milky bluish water are still bouncing around in my head two months after I saw them (I bought one of those by the way). Thank you again for those images and for these.
Thanks so much for the videos and beautiful photos this year. It’s been inspirational and therapeutic in a tricky year. I’ve only started watching photography on RUclips this year and this channel is one of my absolute favourites, relaxing, educational and gorgeous images. All the best for 2021
Absolutely fabulous, Adam. I've come to very much appreciate your articulate, introspective approach to photography. The result is images that capture both wide vistas and unique detailed glimpses of the unexpected. Beautiful result. I think being an introvert is a definite advantage to you. I'm one too and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you for sharing.
Happy New Year Adam! Great collection. Thanks for all the great videos. All of your content has been very inspiring and much appreciated. Here's to an even better 2021, Cheers! 🍻
Love the pics! Especially the Alabama Hills one. One of my favorite places to visit. I didn’t get to visit it this year due to COVID and all the fires. Looking forward to your ‘21 videos.
I'm exactly like you, quite an introvert and I love staying home. Covid effected work as I work in tourism, so working a3 day week instead was just perfect for me. Great video and photo
Wonderful set of photographs! You are underselling Vancouver Island Adam. It is a beautiful part of the world, including the coast line. Looking forward to 2021!
Happy New Year Gavin. Let’s all hope that 2021 really gets use back to normality, although not the best start over here in the UK! A very fine collection of fresh images in this video. I love then all. I agree with you my no.1 is your no.1 too. Keep safe n well. John.
Toujours super tes vlog.. & j'ai beaucoup à apprendre avec toi. Merçi pour tout & bonne année. A traduire de ton coté, mes dires !!! happy new near my friend and glad to see again on your YT channel . See you soon and hello from France
Beautiful images Adam! I love the first 2 (wave, cactus and mountains) and the island in Iceland... I'm missing at least one from those aspen trees in the lake that you were shooting during fall.. Great drone footage by the way! Happy 21.
Fantastic video. I remember watching the videos you created that had the locations of these images this past year and it's kind of neat sort of "reliving" the past year in my mind...lots of downs but also some unexpected ups too. Keep shooting and cheers to hopefully a better 2021. Aloha!
thanks for those images. amazing work as usual. has been a very bad year for my photography. barely left my home :( glad to see you still managed to get out there and produce some amzing stuff
Image #4 should have been #3, a bit of a slip up there, carry on.
And here its me rewinding twice thinking I’ve missed out #3😂😂😂
Beautiful photographs Adam and truly inspiring locations 👍

Thanks for all you do.
For me you are the stand out landscape photographer on utube and your channel the only one I anticipate with impatience. Keep 'em comin' Adam.
Thanks 👍
Love your work and thank you for sharing your amazing tips with us, you are an inspiration.
Adam you are the first person we have seen ‘celebrating’ 2020 and that is such a positive way to look at it.

Beautiful, inspiring photos. Thank you.
Many thanks!
Outdoor exercise is key to both my mental and physical health! Luckily I am able to get out in the mountains quite a bit. Great photos!
Thanks for keeping us normal in an non normal year... and thanks for your support of me also buddy .. Some really nice shots in the bag for the year
Thanks, Darren!
Amen to the running man! Got lucky and picked up that habit a few months before the pandemic began and it makes ALL the difference. Pretty incredible. Thanks for the year in review, this was great.
I am missing a photo of these beautiful autumn trees in the lake. But these ten are all great photos you can be proud of 👍🏻

Happy new year. Thank you not only for your absolute stunning photos but also for your comments and the stories about it. Keep shooting. 😄🇩🇪
Your photos evoke calmness and serenity. Like a big deep breath...ahhhh.
Yes, this is exactly how I'd describe it! Thank you for putting it so succinctly!
Actually watched this yesterday on my TV but that doesn't allow me to comment. These were wonderful images. My life, grocery, Home Depot, photography. I can relate to introvert.
Cool. Do you have a website or social media where we can see your work?
Wonderful shots Adam! Thanks for sharing!
Thomas Heaton as The Shrill Englishman™ is just about my favorite thing ever!!!
You forgot to mention the wildly successful woolly beanies that Karin knitted! Plus the calendar! You have been busy. I've just been re-watching the F4 Roadtrip that past few days and its something you all should be really proud of. Best wishes for 2021! Cheers!
Thanks, Chris! You're right! Karin is knitting away, 39 new hats and yes I was very proud of the calendar it was so nicely printed.
Possibly if I ever fix the van up. Cheers!
A beautiful set of images. Thanks for sharing them.
That's not a bad haul considering the circumstances in which we currently find ourselves. Beautiful images, Adam.
All great images! My favorite is number 1. An absolutely phenomenal shot! Happy new year!
Beautiful shots, Adam!
Absolutely beautiful images. Your book Quiet Light is one of my favourite photography books too. Very inspirational. Thank you and looking forward to 2021!
Many thanks!
I hear you on the running takes up all your time, I started running with a small camera strapped to my running pack, combined my two favorite hobbies. Thanks for all the hard work and great videos!
A beautiful body of work, thanks for sharing!
As usual, wonderful images, and delivered flawlessly. Thanks for all the nice videos, all the tips and tricks, and to sharing Your thoughts. Yes, it's all about the light. Happy New Year!
Adam, great video as always, amazing compilation of your 2020 images from a very difficult year for most, very refreshing to begin the new year with.
Beautiful photos Adam and I am glad that 2020 was not too bad for you. I thank you for you videos and inspiration and I love the f4 course. Hi Adam. Image 1 is just incredible! My favourite. The wave. Simple, almost abstract. The light. Congratulations. Stuart
Awesome! Thank you!
Image #2 the cactus is a cotton-top cactus, it blooms with little yellow flowers in August. They grow super slow, it's probably 75 or so years old.
I really enjoyed this video.Have a great 2021 . You sure do not come across as Grumpy when your by yourself. Thanks for a years worth of ideas, instruction and laughs
Really nice relaxing video to watch Adam. Some gorgeous images but I guess my favourites are the two from Iceland - as you suggedted "other worldly".
Love the drone footage through the moss covered branches.
Top images Adam.
All the very best to you and your family for 2021
You sir are incredibly generous and have just sentenced yourself to weeks and weeks of printing; thanks a million! These images are inspiring, beautiful and fill me with excitement to get outside. Have a very good 2021!
Adam your images are just absolutely incredible!! I purchased your book and have it prominently displayed in my living room - everyone is just amazed at the beauty in your images! Thanks for 2020 and I am looking forward to GREAT things in 2021!
With so many stunning shots it must be hard to narrow it down to 10. My favourites were from the flooded Aspen forest shot in the Canadian Rockies.
Just like the top quality images you presented, the overall quality of the video was just top notch... so well made!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Hear hear Adam. I'm with ya totally. Except the running, my knee says no. :) I like the positive look. Now I'm going to image drool.....later. 😉
Perfect!
Thank you Adam for showing us your top 10/11. Love your positivity .
Amazing photos, great job Adam! 👌
Cool Video ! Great images ! Keep on !👍😊. Best wishes from Austria, Armin
Very nice shots, Adam. I have been enjoying your book as well.
Awesome, thank you!
Nice Adam. I think the bonus image should be in the top ten.
Great mix of images plus drone footage for your top 10.
Thanks! 👍
Thanks very much Adam, those images are beautiful. Best wishes and Happy New Year; I always make a point of watching all your videos.
a very nice selection of your work this year.
Happy new year to you and your relatives
2020 was the year like no other for me. I learned more post processing than I had in all the years since I went to digital combined. A good bit of my new knowledge as well as inspiration came as a result of your videos. When it is safe to travel I will be looking to take one of your workshops.

Fantastic Images, love your work
I have been watching your channel for a while and would have found it very difficult tp select 10 / 11 favorites. Love your work!
Thank you very much!
A refreshingly positive slant on 2020. The Iceland images are my favourites of that Top Ten . Best for 2021
Image 7,8, 10 and Bonus my favorits, have good light, ideas, compositions...
Great vid showcasing your 2020 top 10.
Very nice group, Adam. Continued success to you in 20201.
Some fantastic images Adam, plus you didn't include any of those wonderful shots from Abraham lake. That's one hell of a good shot score, considering what a year we've had.
Happy New Year to you & Karen. Stay safe buddy.

Perhaps watch the intro again, you must have missed that bit about the Rockies trip ;-)
Adam, I'm glad you included #11, as it is perhaps one of my most favorites. Always love your slow shutter photography. Have a successful new year.
Adam: I love your year end reviews. Could you do a video on the top 10 photography locations on Vancouver Island?
Thanks so much for the videos and beautiful photos this year. It’s been inspirational and therapeutic in a tricky year.
I’ve only started watching photography on RUclips this year and this channel is one of my absolute favourites, relaxing, educational and gorgeous images. All the best for 2021

Wonderful set of photographs! You are underselling Vancouver Island Adam. It is a beautiful part of the world, including the coast line. Looking forward to 2021!
The drone footage was superb, but the first image was breath taking. Looking forward to 2021.
Fantastic! Even the second time around.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Absolutely stunning photos brother. Good luck in all you do this year.
Thanks, you too!
Happy New Year Gavin. Let’s all hope that 2021 really gets use back to normality, although not the best start over here in the UK!
A very fine collection of fresh images in this video. I love then all. I agree with you my no.1 is your no.1 too.
Keep safe n well. John.
No, no no, I’ve done it again!! Obviously in my little world you were meant to be called GAVIN!! I’m really sorry, I must try harder!!!
Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us.
A wonderful collection Adam, with image #1 being my favourite - a really sublime capture!
Fantastic images, love them all 👍
Toujours super tes vlog.. & j'ai beaucoup à apprendre avec toi. Merçi pour tout & bonne année. A traduire de ton coté, mes dires !!! happy new near my friend and glad to see again on your YT channel . See you soon and hello from France

nice images, as always. Funny, the little creeks remind me a bit on switzerland. We have quite a lot of them here..
Happy New Year to you Adam and to all good people following and watching your channel. Fantastic photos from not so fantastic year.
Fantastic video. I remember watching the videos you created that had the locations of these images this past year and it's kind of neat sort of "reliving" the past year in my mind...lots of downs but also some unexpected ups too. Keep shooting and cheers to hopefully a better 2021. Aloha!
At last a genuine 2020 review, thanks for not complaining!
A genuine guy with genuine talent. :)
thanks for those images. amazing work as usual. has been a very bad year for my photography. barely left my home :( glad to see you still managed to get out there and produce some amzing stuff
Very relaxing to watch your photos! Great work :)
