I’ve been working on this effect by using Fractal noise and stretching on the vertical scaling. Using the particle effect here produces a much better result. Also I didn’t know about using different wipes to achieve a fade in effect so will try that as well.

@user-sj9js1nx1n please let me know if you need help. The composition is quite convoluted because of the transporter effect used 3x. It becomes clearer when you strip it down to 1 effect.
@@MichaelPonch yeah read my mind, I am currently trying to strip it down to 1 effect and found I can turn all three off by turning off the chromatic aberration layer, I can's see how to separate them and only turn the left and right ones off?
That’s strange. But it should get slightly thicker. The stroke below is 5px and the stroke above should be 2px. Maybe accidentally created a closed shape or checked Rotobezier when creating the path?

Works for me fine in Version 24.1.0 (Build 78). One reason is that my project is really effects heavy and your computer has difficulties to handle it. Try this: import the ae file instead of opening it. But before set the color depth to 8 bit and make sure that GPU Acceleration is selected. Then open the Transporter effects composition. And while it’s rendering quickly set to quarter. And when everything is fine and doesn’t crash increase the color depth to 16-bit again. If it’s still doesn’t crash you can gradually increase the resolution (third, half, full)
Another way to speed things up: switch off the green and blue layers, then go into the _chromaticAberration composition and solo the _Beams&Particles_Center layer. This let you show only the center beams
Dude is speed running a tutorial. 19:01 you don't need to cut it down so much. Over edited af. You changed 3 values in under a second because you decided to go in and chop out the cursor moving time (why I have no idea). It is like you are trying to make the video as short as possible. Again why I have no idea. Got and watch an old VCP tutorial and take notes.

Right. The particle effect produces nice separate streaks. I also thought of using shape layer strokes. But that would’ve been an overkill
