7:33 this is important to anyone viewing this video at a later date. From the official domain discord: There is going to be a rather large rules update going into effect after the tournament at the end of this month. They are as follows. The ATK and DEF clauses are going to be removed from what defines a Deck Master's Domain. -The reason for the ATK/DEF item is there are only about 20 cards that do this and most of them functionally work on the other parts of their DM's Domain and the ones that don't are pretty much the visas starfrost clones that don't really have synergy between their archetypes anyways. As well as a wild amount of confusion that seems to come up regularly for a mechanic that for the most part is not used. Reminder text, except for "this card is not treated as....", will be a part of a Deck Master's Domain. This includes token text. -In previous R&D it was determined to cause complications with the ATK/DEF clauses. With those no longer being a thing that effectively hits 2 birds with 1 stone. Also, as time has progressed it has become blatantly clear that wide domains are not inherently an identifier for a decks power level so much as player skill and deck optimization. By this I mean we have seen decks with 1 type and 1 attribute play at the same level as decks that let you play everything or nearly everything. You are welcome to voice your opinions but please keep in mind that this is not up for debate. The Admin team and even the development team have had multiple conversations . Play however you want but this goes into effect October 27th 2024
Hey there, i'm the guy who made the Domain Format Guide articles! Thanks for making this video, not everyone is too keen on reading articles so having something to watch could help more folks learn. If you wanted to, maybe you could make a video in the future about table politics and threat assesment?
I know that the older versions of ygopro had a tag duel mode. Maybe a collab with the current ygopro team would be a good way to get an automatic simulator started up.
17:40 The only problem with partial decklists is that, if your deck has less than 60 cards, it will call you out on it and not check the rest. You can bypass this by just adding random S/T to fill it.
@@jayku1624 I will be, yes. It’s just taken me a while to get a game scheduled *and* recorded. 😅 lots of little things coming up that make it hard. But I will be trying this week!
Not sure exactly. I have very little experience playing on those. I do know that people like to use those for deck building. But as far as I know, you cant play Domain on there because you would need a lot of manual controls. Like pulling the deckmaster from the Deckmaster zone. or moving it back there. Reaching out to those teams have been a longterm goal for us Domain Format enjoyers. I'm sure soon this will be too big to ignore =D
As Yugioh pivots increasingly to having cards that mention a card as a uniting factor [which it is doing] over archetypes I wonder if Domain will adapt. Also unlike commander Domain currently doesn't allow for cards that are intended to use multiple copies of themselves like Reborn Tengu to be played in multiple.

@@AndrozYGO Thanks for the info, I will look into that!
1:35 That's a pretty important reminder, since it seems people tend to forget deckbuilding involves... building the deck.
Awesome video and super helpful as a new player!
16:16 Lol! I was the one asking for Six Samurai Support on the Discord Im "Royal" in there 😂
A funny thing is that using an Ally of Justice as your deckmaster is that it gives you access to LIGHT monsters even tho the deck is anti-LIGHT lol

Does EdoPro or Omega have a feature where I can host duels and set every card to limited?

the domain web site link is not clickable in the description for some reason
@@Reluxthelegend I think I fixed it, thanks!
