It would be cool if by fighting both the Hound and grimm arm Cinder at the same time, Ruby ends up using her silver eyes over and over again to the point where she overloads it and she loses one eye. It would be a cool way to draw parallels to Cinder who also lost one eye to the silver eyes, and would essentially nerf Ruby giving Cinder a better chance at fighting her
@@maiseree1511 I don't think Cinder needs the help. Ruby has in no way mastered the silver eyes, so she would likely be largely unable to use them during a fight with Cinder. Cinder wouldn't give her the chance.

This volume keeps reminding me of “I May Fall” because it feels like even though they’ll fall, backup might come at the last second but also we don’t know that. The song just ties in well to the volume, especially the first couple of lyrics

I was watching old volume three clips and heard that song for the first time in years, RWBYs messed a lot of things up but the music never disappoints
@@byronsmothers8064 even if they did send help the amount of time it’d take them to to assemble people and get out to atlas would take too long and everything would be over. If help did actually come ny guess is it’d be in the final bits of the finale
I feel like I may fall is just the perfect encapsulation of what RWBY is about. Just, everything Salem sends at them may knock them down, but they will not go down. They will not surrender. Which is also why the Apathy are the most thematicaly brilliant villains in the entire show.
It's also why I hate that no one did anything in the last episode. No one on Ruby's side. They just sat in the house while some of them could've been figuring out how to take out the whale, or help out Mantle, or anything. They didn't all need to stay with Nora.

If I were to guess, Penny is gonna die again, possibly freeing her of Watts' control and passing the winter maiden on to someone else, then she'll be revived one last time by Pietro, who will die in the process.
Thought Rwby was going to be a bright little Anime-esque show when it actually turned out to be more of a dark fairy tale.
Irony considering fairy tales were the opposite starting out dark and then turned bright and happy.

When the show premiered back in 2013 everyone in the production staff, including Monty, kept teasing that the show would get darker to match so many of the OST lyrics. Fans kept badgering them about when this shift would happen and actually being rather impatient. Than Volume 3 happened.

So, Ruby's gonna get bodied one point in this volume, Cinder attacks Qrow from the looks of things (most likely when freeing Watts), Salem is gonna get mad at Oscar/Oz but apparently he's not phased, and Hazel is 100% gonna turn on Salem cuz his face has a calm resolve most likely due to the info Oz gave him. Penny being hacked is gonna get someone killed 100%, and Cinder may be on her last legs of screentime cuz she's going in to face people who can body her again and again
On the contrary. Cinder is about the third most powerful being in Remnant currently, and not to mention also one of the two main antagonists of the entire series alongside Salem, after all. Cinder is not going to be taken out this early in the game, and probably not until the end of the series. In fact, given her journey over the last few Volumes since her first defeat at the end if Volume 5, it seems as though this may be the time where Cinder rises up.
Emerald (having overheard everything from Oscar/Ozma and Hazel) is now in possession of information that would be of much interest and use to Cinder if the dark Maiden intends to turn against Salem, with potentially the eventual goal of overthrowing and exacting revenge upon her and the rest of the world.
Meanwhile, Cinder herself is on a terrifying rampage of destruction. She has promptly tracked down Watts, Qrow and the other prisoners within Atlas's most secure detention facility, and with no f's given she breaks them all out in the most violent but arguably effective way possible: by mostly destroying the room with a massive fiery blast, which understandably terrifies the prisoners. The new shot of Cinder appears to show her removing a piece of the collapsed debris from either Watts' or Qrow's face, with a furious glare on her own face that tells us that she is in no mood for anyone's crap right now, and is probably about to force them to give her what she wants. Potentially, Cinder commands Watts (under extreme duress) in this moment to bring Penny to her so that she can claim the Winter Maiden powers and then the Staff of Creation for herself, which would lead to Watts exerting control over Penny during that "red-eye" scene in order to oblige Cinder's wishes. We may also get another interaction between Cinder and Qrow, wherein Cinder menacingly promises that after she is done in Atlas and the powers of the Winter Maiden (and potentially the Staff) are hers, she will then go after his sister, Raven, and finish her off to acquire her magic too, whilst taking pleasure in revealing to Qrow that Raven is the current Spring Maiden.
Many intense and dangerous things are about to happen in Atlas. Who will come out on top by the end of it all, or should I say: "When It Falls"?
@@TheGreater-ScopeVillain well, we got about 8 or so episodes left right? Time shall tell what of all that comes to fruition. Its just Cinder has a lot of flags on her for me at the moment. She's been getting beaten and humiliated repeatedly and if she tries to go after team rwby she's gonna hold a fast L cuz we saw how quick she ran when she saw Ruby ready to flash her with silver eyes. That and idky but I have a strange feeling Salem has something fucked up in mind for letting cinder get the maiden powers. Salem's no fool so she might be letting Cinder get stronger just so she can take the maiden powers herself, or fully grimmify Cinder to make her the ultimate Grimm. Idk, Cinder just is on thin ice rn. She's strong as hell, but everyone has gotten stronger too, to the point I'm sure even Juane and Ruby could give her a fight now
Here is one question
IF Cinder dies this volume what then will happen to the Maiden Powers. She’s the full Fall Maiden, a piece of the Spring and Winter Maiden. Are the Spring and Winter powers going back to Raven and Penny or what happens
@@JoshuaTree98 That's the million dollar question right there. My personal theory is that Cinder will claim all four Maiden powers, she gets defeated/killed, and then that power would go back to Oscar/Ozma since it was originally his to begin with.
The people of Atlas are safer than Mercury is. That's the most uncomfortable flight trip with Tyrian that there could ever possibly be.
Marrow: (the end is arriving, queen satan is at his home, he saw his leader's dead body, was forced to fight his friends twice, is constantly pushed around by his teammates, had to arrest three more of his friends, overheard his blonde friend call a plan to go in for a suicide mission, is revealed to not want to be a part of any of this shit, and will have to send in a bomb that could kill his friends)

This is a reasonable suspicion. Salem has been playing these games with her agents for millennia. She probably sees them now more as entertainment than people.
Salem likely wants to steal the Maiden magic for herself. It was originally Ozma's magic as a First Wave human. Salem is a First Wave human.

If i would compare the amount of magical destruction she could bring in explosions, I'd say somewhere around Racoom City going boom and Zero Reverse tearing apart Domino City. If she got Ozma's magic, then that would go up to Madara and Hashirama creating the Final Valley to ULTRON succeeding in dropping Sokovia a good distance.

Wasn't that line taken from the episode where Oz yells at every that they are making a mistake in helping Salem, and Salem says "you're too late"? In fact, most of the voice over used was already existing from the previous part of the season.

Ruby's arm is hurt cuz of either hound or new grimm or hacked Penny. Hazel goes for question. Ironwood sees someone, he looks shocked. Winter convinces Marrow ı guess. I have no idea where Cinder is or what she is doing but the one attacks Qrow is Cinder, ım sure. Im so excited and scared.

I even thought for a moment about a communication hologram of Glynda or someone popping up to speak to him, before remembering that global communications are currently down again.

I think Watts wont just obey Cinder and do what she wants. If he learns what Salem told her he can try to gain some time for hound. He doesn’t like Cinder and its a chance to get rid of her. Or he will just send Penny to Salem and get all the praises.
I agree that who might Ironwood will see. But it seems coming one is someone he reacts surprised to so my bet on Cinder or another villian. (sorry for my eng if there is some errors)

So, my best friend, who is the one who introduced me to RWBY this summer, has two really awesome theories for this volume. One, he thinks that Salem is the one that ordered Gretchen dead so that Hazel would blame Ozpin and she could manipulate him into working for her. Hazel did say that Salem found him pretty soon after Gretchen died. That’s a pretty big coincidence, unless it’s not. That’s another thing that will fuel his betrayal. Two, he thinks that Summer is actually the hound Grimm. Think about it, she’s never been confirmed as dead and Salem said she “dealt with her,” not killed her. Also, because we keep seeing the Grimm consume more of Cinder, I think that’s how Salem dealt with Summer. So, while it is entirely possible that the shot towards the end where you see a very broken Ruby is after she watches someone she loves die again, I think it could also be that she just found out who the hound is. I mean, the hound is probably at the Schnee manor which means that Ruby would most likely encounter it.
Also, I’m really worried for Qrow. It looked like that blast of fire hit him almost directly. It didn’t hit the hard light cell.

I watched this 4 times at about 3:45 in the morning and was hyperventilating. My friend and I have thought all along that at least one person was going to die this season and this trailer all but confirms it. I’m so excited, nervous, and scared all at the same time. So i guess is pretty much confirmed that some characters will die, that is 100% sure. Ruby shocked expression at the end give me feelings that she will (again) see someone she cares die in front of her and this can go by
1. Ruby seeing someine she cares die in front of her again will detonate her Silver Eyes power like volume 3 and she will "freeze" the Grimm Wale and then pass out like volume 3 ending.
2. She will stay shocked and having Phyrra PTSD and do nothing for minutes while the rest of characters will be fighting and trying to make her react.
3. Ruby, after seeing another person she cares dying in front of her, will start remembering all the bad shit had happened to her: Death of Phyrrah, first death of penny, Penny being hacked, when Qrow was poisoned, when her team was disbanded, fall of Vale, Mistral Incident, and finally she will remember her mother and Ruby will snap and let go all the negative emotions she had until then.
Based on how it looks, the power goes back on for the Schnee manor then Penny wakes up and things go down.

So much conflict, they only found one relic and so much conflict for the second when there’s still two more to go. It’s so amazing with the story telling in these late volumes and recent episodes, huge props to the story teller and illustrators!
