I really feel like Simsie should do a legacy challenge but supernatural themed, each generation is a new occult type, knowing that she never plays with any of the occult sims and having to have a new occult each gen sounds like it would be a very amusing series !
That’s a good idea! She could use the gen 11 sim of her yt legacy challenge kind of like how she used the gen 11 sim of her Potts family for nsb. Edit: thanks for the likes!
You should do something like this again, but without a starter budget! I think it would be cute to see how a simsie vampire house turns out. I guess we can justify it being expensive by saying vampires have accumulated old money haha.
i've had this urge lately to start a short lifespan legacy, and have someone in the first or maybe second generation be turned into a vampire so they can be alive for the rest of the generations. they could max all their skills and mope around because they keep losing everyone they love to age until they finally decide to turn someone, etc... all the good vampire fiction tropes.
i really wished kayla would let herself build more freely. i understand trying to make starter homes for people to download but this house could’ve been so much more if it didn’t have a budget. i honestly never play without cheats so money is never an issue for my sims.. and i just want beautifully decorated houses without the time or energy of making them myself 😂
I am just imagining a non-vampire couple moves in and doesn't know about the Vampires in town and goes about their lives until they find the hidden bookcase door and suddenly everything about the house and residents of Forgotten Hallow makes sense to them...
I know vampire houses are dark and sad because they’re supposed to be spooky, but I think it would be fun to see a colorful vampire build. Like if Jojo Siwa got bitten by a vampire
i kinda hate when Kayla places down some fun tiles or flooring and then just chickens out and goes back to the same bland things. Like no! Kayla! Use the fun stuff! its a vampire house! i cry every time.
I'd love to have seen this build with no amount ceiling. I respect making a starter, but it would be fun to see you build this unlimited so it fan really shine
I love kaylas videos so much but does anyone else wish she wouldn’t always focus so much on making everything cheap/starter home? Mother lode is there for a reason I would love to see her builds the exact way she wants them rather than stressing about making it too expensive!
The idea of a vampire starter home sounds like "Oh, for the 20 something that got turned in the middle of the night by Vladdy Daddy" but personally I like the idea that this hundreds of years old vampire has just really been struggling to budget with inflation and somehow is always affected by stock market crashes.
I love this. As well as many other comments on this video with vampire ideas. I'm tempted to start up a second save file to play in that's heavily to do with vampires, this being one of them. I think I just might. Goodbye for now, current save.
I wish sometimes you’d just build freely and not worry about the price, then you could have built a beautiful gothic home using all of the vampire items
The house turned out so pretty! I honestly would have loved the one creepy chair that's in the hallway XD And also, I like the storytelling aspect of the kitchen and bedroom being so bare while the living room is fancy! I think it helps sell the idea that it's a vampire house
i love it when u don't do speed builds. i like watching you actually building, deciding and talking through the whole process. more of these plz they r really helpfull for new builders 😇
I absolutely love that you're giving this pack and occults another chance. Understandable it's not your thing but I I like that lately you haven't dissed on them as much as you used to in the past. I really appreciate it and naturally I would LOVE to see more builds like this from you in the future.
I hate that she always says that "nobody will use this house because it's too expensive" like I'm pretty sure 90% of the playerbase cheats for money, and even then, money is too easy to earn in the sims, having something to spend it on is actually a good thing.
Ya I really wish she would do this more, like she could make such cool builds if it wasn’t always under a price restriction. Like sometimes it can make it more funny, but like this house didn’t really need to be a starter home it could have just been a cool home to revisit the vampire pack which was the prompt.
A big part of the joy in Sims is being able to build what you want without a money restriction. I made found a build in the gallery that I really wanted and rather than using a money cheat I made it part of my game play to earn the money for it. I love Simsies builds but i do wish she would do more that are purely whatever she wants with no money restrictions!!
It’s so funny how Simsie builds with the vampire pack knowing that she actually hates them 😂 and yes I heard what she said in the video, no need to say it again.
It would be nice to see non tiny budget homes. They don't need to be million dollar mansions but every home is a tiny budget which limits creativity at times. She constantly wants to do something but then "can't" . It would be nice to see more non restricted budget builds is all I'm sayin
I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this in earlier videos, but your builds have improved so much since I first started following you! They’ve always been pretty good but for the last few months especially I’ve noticed that each of your builds is just absolutely stunning! It’s probably silly to comment on this video which is just a starter home and not especially complex (especially compared to some of your recent work) but I really liked it and it honestly made me want to play with vampires again!
I feel like this could be a great house to play in tbh. Maybe a young vampire who never interacted much with his prominent vampire family moves into this house after inheriting it and starts a family there. it could be a legacy family, so you start filling up the currently bland walls with pictures, buy more expensive appliances, slightly renovate it for every new heir instead of moving or rebuilding entirely... and when it gets cramped everyone except the main sims moves into another city. I think it'd be really interesting at the end to look at not only the family tree, but also how much the house changed over the generations and how much of the other cities is populated by your family
i want to see more videos like this without the price restrictions, sometimes the challenge is fun but houses like this would look so cool without the money restrictions
To be fair, you probably didn’t need stairs to the basement since they can teleport hahaha very cute house honestly! I’d love to see this for all occults, even plant sims:)
Just wanted to say that I bought Sims 4 like a solid 6 months before it's release, and the physical copy arrived at my house on the release day. I started it up and was so disappointed that so much of the good content from Sims 3 was missing (I love the puzzles and traveling with World Adventure and loved how big the Sims 3 world was). I also never quite gripped how to properly build in Sims 4 and just stopped playing it. Then I found your videos and watching you build rekindled my love for the game again. I've started to build and I am loving it. Finished my 3rd build this weekend and I am so incredibly thankful for your approach and love of this game - thank you. Thank you for showing me how incredibly fun and creative this game is again - I owe you for all this newfound joy ❤️
Kayla I always appreciate that you try to be reasonable with prices and all but, it’s okey to go off for once! I’m kinda tired of the bathroom/kitchen design, they always look the same to me. Still love the vids tho!!
She said "It's likely that you might not be playing only with a vampire, so we'll keep the kitchen" and I heard "you might be keeping a sim in your basement and that sim will need food"
I was hoping she was going to actually use the furniture from the pack since it's a vampire house, but no, just another starter home with the same furniture she always uses...
I hadn't played with vampires in forever as well! They can actually still utilize a kitchen especially if they're going to have a family. Once they get some cooking/mixology skills they can make things like plasma salad or plasma Jane's to keep their hunger full. The only time they can't eat at all is if they have the "shrunken stomach" flaw or whatever. I usually avoid this one on all vampires except Vlad because he's supposed to be so much older than the others. 🧛🏻♂️🩸⚰️
Anyone else notice that the Vampire tile was cheaper than the less 'ridiculous' tile Simsie chose...? Might've helped the starter budget to be more ridiculous...
please make a video where you use only vampire stuff (for the most part, if they dont have something they dont have it use something else that fits the vibe) but with an infinity budget! and spell casters too! I love their stuff and I love no budget extravagant no limit builds. we suffer enough IRL I want to play like a queen in sims XD
i actually really enjoy when people make really nice exteriors on their build because i get really tired from building and i enjoy making interiors more😅
I don’t know why it doesn’t show up under “clock” but there is an awesome clock from the vampire pack. It’s probably just as expensive as the base game one though.
so I think, the only occult (that I've seen people ask for) is the fairy. however, that might overlap too much with spellcaster. perhaps instead of fairies, we can get winged/horned/"general monster" Sims. so like, you could make the "monster" sim have fairy wings, or you could make a tiefling with red skin and curved horns. or perhaps your "monster" looks normal, and one of the perks is unlocking wings. you could also make "angel" Sims with feathered wings. so people can get demons, angels, and fae all in one go. in my mind, there are three separate "skill trees" (using something like the reputation system for celebrities) for Evil, Good, and Chaotic Sims. this way they can add the "demon", "angel", and fairy without involving a religious connotation
So for some reason I love hidden basements. I usually make a futuristic spy base that also happens to be a vampire layer. My current house is the only one to not have a secret basement... yet.
OMG I'VE BEEN DREAMING OF THIS SO MUCH THANK YOU KAYLA I LOVE YOU SO MUCH 😭💖😭💖💖😭💖😭 I only play with vampires, its literally the only GP i have other than the base game that doesnt count and you dont know how much i wish i had this before, but i really appreciate i have it now, i will ALWAYS use this as my starter home now.
hey simsie i really like your content however i feel like sometimes when you do builds like that that have a certain theme you're really not using your full potential by giving yourself restrictions. I get why you want to make most of your houses cheap and accessible to your viewers but I feel like your content would be a lot more enjoyable and interesting if for builds like this you allowed yourself to have a bigger budget. I just think this house would have been so much more interesting if you used furniture from the vampire pack instead of just making the house look gothic from the outside because at the end of the day it is a themed house and thats what many people came here to see. In my opinion building a scary facade and then using the boring base game appliances and furniture just defeats the purpose. This is just my suggestion but i just feel like every time i watch a video of yours with a theme like this i end up being disappointed because you're a great builder but you builds often end up being very repetitive and without much flavor.
Caleb is my absolute fav sim. To me he’s absolutely perfect 😂 I don’t like Vlad though I never gave him a chance. Love the build keep up the great work 🥰🥳

Edit: thanks for the likes!
Yes
Maybe she could incorporate it into the nightmare legacy challenge after gen 10. Like how she’s moved to not so berry with the twitch one
I love that idea!
but how would the genetics work??
She’s says “no that’s creepy” to a single chair but 2 min earlier built a basement with a tomb and spider webs lol

@@avamads8150 thank you
"No need for windows, it's a vampire house." *puts mirrors everywhere*
Mirrors can make a room look significantly larger.
Not Kayla putting mirrors everywhere in a house for vampires, who can't even see their reflection 🤣
Maybe it’s for disguise 😂
I thought the same xD
And a kitchen….
Oh wow, this comment blew up way more than I thought it would
This was my exact thought 😂
You should do something like this again, but without a starter budget! I think it would be cute to see how a simsie vampire house turns out. I guess we can justify it being expensive by saying vampires have accumulated old money haha.

Another excuse to create sims! Thanks for the idea…
Omg I love that plot!
And they have a vampire living in their house feeding off them the whole tiiiime😵💫😵💫😵💫
I know vampire houses are dark and sad because they’re supposed to be spooky, but I think it would be fun to see a colorful vampire build. Like if Jojo Siwa got bitten by a vampire
This made me think of a pastel goth vampire build
Good idea, nicol!
I am currently playing with a boho vampire! She’s also a guilty drinker and a romantic. They don’t have to be creepy!
The set for the original Addams family show was shades of pink
or a jojo's bizarre adventure vampire
i kinda hate when Kayla places down some fun tiles or flooring and then just chickens out and goes back to the same bland things. Like no! Kayla! Use the fun stuff! its a vampire house! i cry every time.
I'd love to have seen this build with no amount ceiling. I respect making a starter, but it would be fun to see you build this unlimited so it fan really shine
Simsie: “I don’t play with occults”
Also Simsie: *has two ghosts in her RUclips legacy household*
and vlad cant forget vlad
I feel like simsie shouldn’t limit her budget so much. I’d love to see more expensive houses
this was meant to be a starter home though, so it does need a limited budget :]
vladdy is THE daddy. the 24 hour stream proved that. i’ve got respect for him now, hisses and all 😊
I love kaylas videos so much but does anyone else wish she wouldn’t always focus so much on making everything cheap/starter home? Mother lode is there for a reason I would love to see her builds the exact way she wants them rather than stressing about making it too expensive!

Kayla the kitchen can still be useful as vampires with a high cooking skill can make stuff with the plasma fruit and still consume it.
I wish sometimes you’d just build freely and not worry about the price, then you could have built a beautiful gothic home using all of the vampire items

Should we expect a house for a mermaid, a ghost, an alien and a magician, respectively?
Let's will it into existence.
Omg wait there is mermaids in sims? How did I not know about this

To see their destruction. Or possibly hoping a vampire bursts into flames by the sun.. I know how she likes that ha
She is also getting more open to occults I think so she doesn’t hate them but she just prefers normal gameplay
Can't count how many times she's unalived vladdy daddy
did you watch the intro to this video?
The shape of this house is so cute! I would love to see Simsie do an occult letsplay leading into the new werewolf pack.
The bookcase door became a typical Simsie thing now 😂

Kayla - I’m making a vampire starter home
Also Kayla - makes a normal starter home with a coffin in the basement
I love how she asked not whether vampires use the toilet, but whether they use toilet paper. LOL
i want to see more videos like this without the price restrictions, sometimes the challenge is fun but houses like this would look so cool without the money restrictions
I would've preferred to see a build with a bigger budget that included more vampire items.
Build a vampire house with no budget!

Nice build. It doesn't look creepy at all.
I was hoping she was going to actually use the furniture from the pack since it's a vampire house, but no, just another starter home with the same furniture she always uses...
"I would really like to use fancy stuff but I can't". Hear me out ... Why always have such restrictive budgets? Splurge a little. It's Sims. ;)

With the werewolf pack I'm excited to make a house full of occult sims. A werewolf, vampire, alien, mermaid, ghost and a spellcaster.
You could try a legacy legacy challenge with vampires

I really NEED for the werewolves to have special interactions with the vampires and even the wizards.
Two Words : Vladdy Daddy 🖤
If you're going to play with a spellcaster as well as a vampire, you'll want the open space. Most spells require a 2x2 or larger space to cast them.
Lil simsie: "Maby I could do a single chair... no that's creepy."
Me: isn't that the point?
I have an idea, make the most colorful rainbow pride house you can because it's pride month. THATS A CHALLENGE.
I don’t know why it doesn’t show up under “clock” but there is an awesome clock from the vampire pack. It’s probably just as expensive as the base game one though.

I kind of wish you had done this no budget. I loved your ideas for the house and I wanted to see your actual ideas for the house come to fruition.
so I think, the only occult (that I've seen people ask for) is the fairy. however, that might overlap too much with spellcaster. perhaps instead of fairies, we can get winged/horned/"general monster" Sims.
so like, you could make the "monster" sim have fairy wings, or you could make a tiefling with red skin and curved horns. or perhaps your "monster" looks normal, and one of the perks is unlocking wings. you could also make "angel" Sims with feathered wings. so people can get demons, angels, and fae all in one go.
