Right there with you Bil….I went through something similar with my 7.3 Excursion I’ve owned since new. For years it didn’t idle, shift or run right. So while the PIDS all looked good on IDS, I still went through and replaced the ICP, IPR, EBPS, EOT, and Cand even replaced a few pigtails. While the truck ran better, it still wasn’t 100%. What fixed the rest of the issues was the one sensor I didn’t replace with the Motorcraft part: ECT. As soon as I replaced it with the Motorcraft part, my truck was completely fixed. The Lesson: “Don’t use parts store sensors even on your 7.3”
Ruke #1 it's almost always the last thing you messed with... I had a set of spark plug wires haunt me for weeks.. random misfire.. I replaced the plugs and wires.. I Tripple checked the routing.. I had a fuel pump problem at the same time.. I thought it was injectors or git a bad pump... it was the wires.. we're always learning if you're not you shouldn't be a mechanic..
In some cases it’s not the sensor, it’s the screen inside the driver side fuel rail that is clogged. Replaced several and it’s actually cheaper to buy the complete driver side rail vs buying the sensors separately.
Comon bill you know better than using them bullshit tuners 😂 I remember your old 7.3 video on tuners years ago where your exact words were something like “anytime you tap into the wiring and fool the computer into reading skewed data it’s going to eventually bite you in the ass”

I don't own a powerstroke anymore, and haven't for years, but I still enjoy the videos.
Me Too!!!!
It will crank but won’t stay crunk, love it
I enjoyed this one. Appreciated you keeping it real Bill.
You guy's are great 👍
Time to give BANKS a call for a quality tuner

Is this the Fuel Pressure regulator? I'm having a p0191 on an Audi 3.0 tdi same fuel system as the power strokes other than different plugs
Rest in peace Bill
Man, I just found this channel and found out he passed away at the same time. 😢
Awesome Bill!

Did you notice you had a lot of turbo boost when you first started it but not much after the last start in the video?
Again……….THANKS BILL!!!!
Good thing that stealth module didn't take the rest of your electrical system with it when it crapped out. 😢
#Landscape tighten up brother
Back in mah day, my 7.3 blah blah 7.3 blah blah, my dead hands, gubbamen blah
Did you reinstall the module afterwards?
If aftermarket tuners worked they come with it from the factory.
So parts cannon?
Also, you can't get rid of permanent codes with IDS.
i just got a chinesium auto pilot, it's called "wun wing lo" and it doesnt fly right for shit!
yeah, you definitely don't want aftermarket tuners in the engine bay when you roll in for dealer service.
Aftermarket Mickey Mouse junk strikes again! Come on Bill, you know better than that.
That's life. FAAFO
Common rail trucks EFI live or die
😅😅
Is funny. I think it is only a person with this problem with this tuner
