    It's like that because it should not be cocked when the cylinder is open ,because it alters the timing of the revolver 😡

    Beautiful beautiful gun I bought a new one and I handled the old ones and everything and to be honest I just I love the old ones cuz the history but the new ones are way stronger and honestly I think they're better looking but man I would definitely own one of the old ones just for historical and collector value beautiful gun

    Looks like someone did some jeweling work to the trigger and hammer. Maybe, someone didn't put it back together, right?
    Just a guess.

    The trigger and hammer have a machined jewel finish similar to the ones on bolt action bolts. Definitely not original to the revolver.
    This revolver while very nice has been defiiled.
    I wouldn't have it.

    Bet the rebound lever isn’t engaging bolt properly and not dropping the bolt down out of cylinder notch .
