I love flavoring warding shadows and the channel divinity as sentient shadows that whip around blind or tug at people to throw them off what rythm they have in a fight to help represent that terrifying nature of darkness that gets shown off later on in the subclass and when it comes to the light aspects of the night subclass I represent as the majesty of a natural night sky with the cosmos being this massive piece of art that you channel into the brighter aspects that the subclass and overall class give through their spellcasting
This subclass gets a lot of mileage in curse of strahd, surprisingly enough few undead are immune to unconsciousness/blindness which is this subclass' bread and butter and bonus points us you get to show the citizens of barovia a clear night sky for the first time in their lives, ireena and ismark would love to see that view
I've always felt people were ... sleeping ... on the usefulness of sleep at higher levels. This is cool that folks are pushed towards it to... awaken... their interest. :)
It's a very interesting subclass, and I'm a big big fan of the new spells. It's basically the polar opposite sibling of the light domain, although it's funny that it also shares an ability that's very similar to the light domain.
I'm a sucker for thematics especially with custom spells. I'll be checking out the sponsor for this video hitpointpress and humblewood thanks for sharing.
This class teamed up with a Rogue can do amazing tricks. So much fun. My buddy and I might be trying some of these Shadow Shenanigans in our next campaign. Thank you for the cool content.
Yeah that'll definitely be an interesting intimidation cleric especially at night if you can see and scare people with the ability to see 30ft in front of you and they can't see you!
Could you guys cover the Atavist class by SwordMeow on reddit? I would like to get your guys' opinion on it, specifically the croughwrought subclass. My DM says the whole class is broken, and while I agree it's strong, I feel like that subclass at least is decently balanced.

Currently using this domain multiclassed with shadow monk to take full advantage of darkness!

This seems like a very fun subclass. I love the sight in darkness
This on a duck arakocra is the terror that flaps in the night! I am the winged scourge that pecks at your nightmares! I am Darkwing Duck!
Thank you gentlemen for covering all types in varied books. It's nice to hear about what available for everyone
That fly at 4:51 got me lol
Keep up the good work, I end up listening while I'm doing something else, realise I took nothing in and watch it again with attention
This is a very good fit for the slightly paranoid Kenku I was planning to build!
I love this subclasses this is my favorite humblewood subclass so far also a bundle would be super helpful

You unconscious you about to be and I'm outta spell slots we leaving. I felt that in my soul
That's an awsome unique spin on Cleric, love it!
Lot of cleric have themes like the moon or night, but this one goes heavy on darkness as a theme, very cool!
Already been subscribed lol
I freaking LOVE night and moon themed things!
Ima have to play this just in principle
A double-edged cleric subclass. Cool.
The not able to be woken til their next turn also allows everyone to attack them without negating the spell right? That's massive
Oh man now i want a party comprised of a Twighlight, a Night and aMoon domain clerics and a couple of warlocks...
Another awesome video!
I love your black clover hat. Live lucky haha

This subclass gives me twilight domain vibes, but i still love it nonetheless.

I think I prefer the Twilight subclass.
This is the twighlight clerics best friend
