    A year and a half on my Tele strings..It was just circumstance. We moved and I haven't had a workspace and too busy working on the house. I'm still playing this set of 8's..we'll see how long before I break one! Yeah the stretching is a headache!

    You do the one thing that I never see other youtube teachers do and that’s give a real musical example of what you are teaching, in context. I take guitar lessons and have been learning 3rds and 6ths, this lesson was such a good example to see them in action. You go a little fast but that’s what pause if for😅.

    Just wanted to add my gratitude for your generosity in sharing your talent and making it accessible to others. JUst found your channel in the last few weeks. I thought
    I knew CAGE but you show all the inversions in all the string positions...Just this one lesson is like a gold mine. I don't think any of the plethora of guitar teachers out there do a better job of showing how triads arpeggios, pentatonic and major fits together...and then put it all into practice. Thx Guthrie...

    Guthrie, I love your stuff. I wish you would use a looper for backing tracks when you are jamming and explaining licks. It would really help to "hear" what you are saying/playing with the supporting chords ringing out for context. So much of what you play and teach is "spelling out" chords, it would really drive home the lesson to hear the chords behind what you are playing. Side note: I just ordered a Ditto + after you recommended getting a Ditto looper in one of your videos.

    Wow - so you pull another style out of your hat. Man so good. Some of it almost seemed to have a Hawaiian flare imo. I think thats one of the things that makes a great guitarist or musician. That is one that can adapt to about any style of music. A few other famous musicians come to mind, but the one that really impressed me was the great Carol Kaye. Guthrie I was really surprised to hear you talking about how hard it is to raise money for the record. I would love to help, but I am not sure how. maybe you could offer some ideas? Anyway, really great stuff Guthrie!

    Even though I watch uncle larry for his harmonic content(very unique approach to harmony and chording) I relate (as best as can be expected) to GT on melody. This is the fellow I call an inspiration. How do I get this level of melodic fluidity under my fingers? Keep on Truckin. GT don't be afraid to ask for the contribution I'll send you couple of duckets for your content man. Already my E7 is sounding way better bro.
