I have learned so much from this tutorial series. I really appreciate that she specifies which brushes or tools she's using. That way, even when sped up, we know what is going on.
All these years of using multiply - and I never knew what white did on it! Thank you so much, I've learned a handful of new, nice things which I can't wait to try! Especially the Screen Mode - I've always used other blending modes to set lights, so I can't wait to see what this is gonna do to my artwork!
I'm very impressed. These tutorials deserve so much more appreciation. I've been drawing mediocre shades for years, and just testing and playing around with her instructions, I already made big improvements. It's really been quite a while since I had this much fun drawing.
I learned so much about the difference between blending modes, it gets me everytime how useful and how big of an effect it can do for your drawings. Thank you so much for teaching this. Very valuable information 😎😙😎
at mark 1:54, how do you get your cursor to look the way it does when using mapping pen? My cursor shows a huge "brush size" circle that doesn't seem to match the actual brush size when I paint on the canvas

I didn't catch why you used white instead of transparency to erase shading? Is there a difference?
For some reason, the watercolor shading part didn't work for me.
