@@ratking_ not really, in the video case she's using it properly in a sense like as a character sheet for reference, dumbest thing you can do is use the 3D model as the sketch and not as a reference (especially if you are new you won't learn a thing about what you did and keep using it as a crutch as in you don't how how to draw one without it, not because it saves time it's just because it's *2hard2draw*) Just make sure to study all the fundamentals of drawings and what not since thats what all the professionals did *FIRST* before using those things anyways, its pretty much common sense
You can tell she's an amazing artist by the quality of the initial sketch. Holly molly. I think I'd need three, four sketches to make something so clean and well proportioned. A++++ art
Awesome tutorial. So this is the true power of a professional. I learned a few things, but the most important is this: if professional artists start with stickman/basic shapes and circles (or even 3d models), why shouldn't you, a less experiences artist? This was great.
Damn, starting with a 3d model makes it so much easier. as a beginner this has really helped. thank you. these are great productivity boosters that cut out a lot of the dogma of traditional paper sketch techniques.
Another thing I do is instead of setting a sketch aside for new insights the next day I have a friend look over it who is also artsy and usually spots mistakes here and there like an eye not on the same level or an arm a tad longer than it should be than what perspective allows etc and she circles them in an edited picture back to me and I try and correct those mistakes than I send it back for another review and see what else can be spotted and if Indië what she meant I should do
your an amazing artist is always been my dream to be an anime artist but i can hardly draw a straight line right and even though i been told practices makes perfect im afraid to even try because my art teachers only tell me how much i messed up i dont even bother to draw anything at all im scare i might not be talented enough
As someone who also had bad art teachers one thing I can tell you is that it’ll get better as you get older. That might not be to helpful but I’ll give you some tips that might help you with drawing. If you have access to a printer gather a bunch of images of characters you like with no background and print them out. Or if not using an art app like clip or ibis that lets you put pictures in will work to. Then put a piece of paper over them and trace them or in the apps lower the opacity then on a new layer trace them. This might sound dumb but the goal is to get more confident with making lines on the page. After that you might be able to slowly start working on drawing those same characters using them as reference instead of copying them directly. Only other thing to note is if you do trace them don’t post those online as yours without noting that there traces and that your learning so people understand your not stealing. Anyway I wish you the best you got this and don’t forget to have fun!!
DPI only affects printing. It doesn't change the size of drawing. DPI means dots per inch. Which is how many pixels equals an inch when printing. So the pixel size of your drawing doesn't change when you change the DPI.
hola inma, gran serie de tutos... no los tendrias en español ? ya que te presentaste como artista española, estaria muy bien... en ingles hay cosas que se me escapan.... un saludo y muchas gracias
BRO THIS SOFTWARE HAS EVERYTHING HOW DID I NOT THINK OF USING MODELS!!?!??!?!?!?!?
Right? I get stuck trying to get anatomy right and forget I was designing.
because it's sort of cheating.
@@ratking_ there is no such thing in this situation.

@@pauljerome01 so you're not suppose to use them for sketching base, eh? Is that what you mean or am I mistaken it?

Wait a day is a really useful advice.
Also I didn't think about the subview yet, will try it. Thx for the tutorial
I love your art style! Thank you Inma!
This was a wonderful tutorail for cps, learn something new every day. Thanks!
Great tutorial, very concise and well explained. She made sure to enunciate so english speakers can understand clearly. Thanks, Inma!
I never came up with the idea about inking the next day after I did a sketch. But it sounds somehow reasonable. I might try it the next time. 🙂
Awesome and informative!
Merci Beaucoup Madame Inma R. From Chile,City Iquique.
AWESOME!
This is pure gold!
Gracias por el tutorial inma
Thank you, this is very helpful
which pencil do you use for the design of the character?

Wow 9 seconds ago. I haven't watched, I already know it is going to be good. Very good tips! uwu
Can I ask what canvas size and resolution is the best or smooth?
maybe it's not enough sleep, but what using white on lineart has to do with folders and multiply blending mode? how does it help?
Can you please tell me how long it took to get as awesome as you are atm? I'm trying to get back into drawing but feel like it's a slow go.
dude the sub view thing this going to change my webcomic game!
Her art already looks finished before she's even finished it. You have no idea how jealous that makes me lol
6:57 in my csp, why when i change the dpi resolution seems like not working? so all i can do is to increase the height and width to get high quality
what exactly are you doing? Are you changing the dpi after you've already drawn something, or is this when you create the canvas?
DPI only affects printing. It doesn't change the size of drawing. DPI means dots per inch. Which is how many pixels equals an inch when printing. So the pixel size of your drawing doesn't change when you change the DPI.
