It's funny. I remember listening to blink when I was in middle school and Alkaline Trio in high school and college. I didn't even realize Matt was now in blink until last week. That new album is going to be great. Check out some of Alkaline Trio's earlier stuff like Goddamnit and Crimson. As much as I like their newer stuff, they're older stuff is sublime

It's such a nice feeling to know people are FINALLY recognising how much talent this band has as a whole and not just Matt, if it took him replacing Tom to get people to know them, I'm all for it!

Alkaline Trio is band everyone should listen to, and this song proves that. Skiba writes some of the most beautiful lyrics, and has a way of taking your mood and warping it into something beautiful, while dan and Derek fill in with beautiful harmonies and riffs. Alkaline trio has been a band I can not only listen to, but worship for being what a band should be. Im very proud to carry the heart and skull logo with me at all times tattooed under my skin. This was an excellent video. Perfection.
They never get old. They have a consistent sound, and true talent. I fucking love them.
I guess Alkaline Trio having a jam session in Mila Jovovich's house must happen quite frequently since she blows right past them.
On another note, was skeptical of this album when it first came out but like the others, I've grown to love it! It's just as raw, only more blunt.
All negative blink fans, please go away. Us fans of Alkaline are here to enjoy the music and don't want to read your complaints. Skiba is very talented and I get that a very important member of a band you enjoy has been replaced. It sucks I know. But it isn't his fault so please, keep your complaints at bay and enjoy the music. A band like Alkaline Trio is too good to pass up.

Matt is a great singer, Tom too, that doesn't change the fact that you have to be an asshole (and all the other haters (not meaning this as an insult)) to Matt, he has feelings too y'know? Of course it upsets people that their idk favorite band randomly got a new singer, but Tom decided to leave the band and not Matt... Blink didn't want the band to completely die and never make music again so they searched for another good singer for more music and Matt's doing a good job (you guys should be thankful that the band even still makes music!!), if you think otherwise... just imagine you replacing a band's singer, you sure wouldn't like all the hate you get, would you? My Shame is True is one of my favorite Trio albums, second only to Good Mourning. This song is such a great song to play loud and sing along to... Well actually all of them are, but whatever. Favorite for a good 8 years now

+Rob Bader it was more like 17 years ago. I turned 32 in 2015, and had the band with him when I was 15. He just left the Suicide Machines, and I had left my band. I talked to our mutual friend and figured it all out.

I now realize why Mark chose him, he sounds like that upper register that Mark used in songs like, "When Your Heart Stops Beating" and stuff so essentially, Mark found another him haha. I'm not saying Tom can be replaced, but just from hearing this song alone, maybe this guy will bring the punk back into the riffs where Tom tried to insert AvA into them. I mean have you listened to how he plays the riffs now? Adding new things or just plain not playing them right? I mean I get improvisation, but come on the fans want to hear that punky ripping guitar not some flanger, echo noise that AvA overuses...

to be honest matt actually cares about music and tom delonge doesn't seem to care about the music as much as matt, mark, and travis so I'm glad matt replaced him so the next blink album wasn't rushed and so they can take time to make it great and not half-assed.
+always 182 I have to say I agree and disagree at the same time. Tom cares about the music and you can tell with AVA but he wanted to take Blink in a different direction and it wasn't something they could all agree on. Tom wanted to have that arena, U2, Pink Floyd sound and the band didn't want it. I can't agree with Mark and Travis because that not Blink and never was. As Travis said, "That's what side projects are for" and Tom couldn't keep the two separate. It's a real bummer because I grew up on Blink in the early 90's and wanted to see them come back and hit us with the sh*t they use too. Either way i hope Skiba and Blink can reignite the band and give us that old school Blink 182 from the past.
