I'm driving Uber right now, and a guy jumped in and immediately started talking about various bands. I asked him if he agreed with me that AK3 was underrated and he replied they were his second favorite band. We discussed how each of us had transitioned to preferring the Dan songs but loved all of them in the end. So we turned the music up real loud and yelled/screeched the lyrics all the way to his destination. Good times.
I revisit AK3 every 5 years or so. And I listen to them for a month straight. I wish more people liked them. I don't know anyone else that diggs them like me

I've never heard alkaline trio. I went to punk in the park in Orlando and these guys were headlining. Most everyone left after the vandals, just before alkaline trio went on stage. I don't regret leaving early.
I remember the girls I used to pine over in high school. What a hopeless fat kid I was then. I got myself together years after. I was playing in a shitty punk band. I saw my high school crush and talked to her. We made out and I discovered that I didn’t really like who she’d become. I drove her home and nothing else happened. This era of Alk 3 always reminds me of those days. Really innocent. Perfect and forever sixteen.
