    I am so grateful for this tutorial. I just finished a C2C cardigan and the sleeves are too short and front panel needs a little more width, if the front panel starts with horizontal tile, how do I start the row?
    Do I always have to start on vertical tile You started in the middle of your sample, but when I start the row must be at the beginning?
    How do you save all your crochet notes, patterns. I have a notebook, but now in is a mess after couple of years crocheting. I need a better method to save and find notes.
    TIA 🙏💐

    So excited to try this as a border on my mini c2c right now, nervous about the corners though... any advice?

    • @makedocrew1717
      @makedocrew1717  5 лет назад

      Hey Marcie, which part of the corners are you feeling unsure of? If you want to ask me a more specific question about where you're struggling on the corners, I'd be happy to try to help. :)

      Hey Jackie, I'm not sure we'll do a CAL for this one. Is there something I can help you with in figuring out the pattern?
      :)

    Thanks for this video! This is great and so helpful. It would have been even better to link it from the PDF pattern.

    Is there a way to do a triangle with only one straight line instead of 2 as it usual gets on C2C?

  • @hward05

    Is there a way you can share the measurements of the panels? Your gage and size of crochet is a lot smaller then I can get it. With the same size hook my tiles are way bigger. I have asked this question on Instagram and have not gotten a reply. Not sure if you will even see this. Thank you.

      Hey Harry, I'm sorry, sometimes Instagram notifications get buried so quickly that some fall through the cracks. I'm answering this on the fly without access to my pattern notes so you don't have to wait any longer, but it means I also don't have the exact measurements. :) Here's what you can do for this or any other c2c pattern though--use the gauge (in which each tile = .69") and multiply that number by the number of tiles width-wise and height-wise in the size you're making. Hope that makes sense!

    Is there a way to make the kimono sleeve a longer sleeve with this technique?

    • @makedocrew1717
      @makedocrew1717  6 лет назад +1

      Yeah! If you just continue to make your sleeve rectangle "taller", your sleeves will be longer. Essentially, you'll just keep increasing with c2c squares until you like the length of the sleeve. :)

    • @razeenamatani8406
      @razeenamatani8406 6 лет назад +1

      @@makedocrew1717 also for the pattern where exactly do you start the sleeve rectangle

    • @makedocrew1717
      @makedocrew1717  6 лет назад +3

      @@razeenamatani8406 Hi! You attach the yarn at the armpit seam to start working the sleeve. So once your yarn is attached there, you can follow the technique described in the video above to work around the sleeve hole opening. If you're right handed, you'll be growing your sleeve toward the left, just like how you'd normally grow a c2c rectangle. :)

    This is really cool and I love the sweater! FYI...to make a chain stitch, its yarn over the hook, not yarn under. 😉
