Saying thank you doesn't feel adequate. You have no idea how much I appreciate these videos. I'm making the Carpenter's Wheel afghan and was not looking forward to joining all those squares. I started it today, guided by you tutorials and it is coming along so quickly and beautifully. From the bottom of my heart, sincerest appreciation and thankfulness. You did a great job.
Elizabeth P: Me, too! I just found the Carpenter's Wheel afghan on Ravelry and fell in love with it, but was not happy about the idea of sewing (seaming) the pieces together. Then I found this video!! Decided to make this one first (just the squares), then tackle the CW.
Thank you so much for these wonderful tutorials! I have struggled so long trying to figure out these methods & because of your videos have finally done it! I am soooo thrilled! Thanks again & keep up the great work!
The fun things about this is that you don't have to keep your boxes all the same size. I'm making a scrappy afghan using this and I have several boxes in different sizes
I would love to make a c2c patchwork blanket in 3 colours to fit a kingsize bed but I'm unsure how much wool to buy and what kind of dk, aran etc if anyone could help me that would be great. Thank you
I think I used about 12 colours in all. You can of course use as many as you like. And yes of course you can make it rectangle. Just add more squares on one end and less on the other. Happy crocheting!
Love this tutorial series! Thank you!
Thanks for the love!

Aww thanks so much Elizabeth. I'm blushing! I hope your blanket came out well.

What yarn would this be good for this pattern?
Lovely merry xmas
How do you make sure the new joined square is going the opposite way? I had it work perfectly on my sample but on my actual blanket it won't work!
How many squares did you use for your blanket?
How many blocks did you make altogether? ☺
