Thank you so much for these wonderful tutorials! I have struggled so long trying to figure out these methods & because of your videos have finally done it! I am soooo thrilled! Thanks again & keep up the great work!
I'm currently making a scrappy afghan using this method thanks to your video. I got. little creative and started making some of my blocks different sizes throughout my work. it makes for a quicker project and an interesting peice!
This is so cool how this is done. I also love doing c2c and this is just brilliant how you join. Thank you for the great videos they are much appreciated. God Bless you
Did you make a video for weaving in ends? Curious to see what you do with them as I find them difficult on a c2c! Thank you for the tutorials, they're very clear and concise.
Hi, I love your demonstration, and you are excellent in explaining what to do. However, my blocks are not going opposite to one another. It doesn’t look bad ,is that okay? There is something I am missing. What do I need to do to make them go opposite to one another. Thank you, Eva
Thank you for this wonderful explanation. I have a question. Is there any reason that the green square was started in the corner you did, instead of working it from the border in? As in... would it not work if done that way?
I'm going to give this technique a go today, I'm curious, could you do this with much larger squares? As wanting to create a 30 row squares, and in each square a different design, doing Avengers, wanting to do 6 large squares, 2 across and 3 down, so could it be done?
Does it matter if your boxes are an odd or even number? I’m working a project and I can’t get my join box to be going the right direction in relation to the one next to it.
No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to get my boxes not to match on the corners. I made my first square and found a corner to start with that did not match. So the second square is fine. But now, I am wanting to join as you go to make my third square and both of my corners are the same (horizonal) which means my boxes all line up instead of having one vertical and one horizontal. What can I do. I'm so frustrated and desperate.
I haven't tried doing a join as you go but by looking at the videos, I think if you make your blocks with an even number of squares it should work out. eg 4 squares by 4 squares
I finally worked this out. After a full day of failing and frogging I realised that we have to do it like a graphgan. Start in an inside corner and do two little squares in colour A side by side. joining onto the previous large square as you go. Join colour B at the top of the first little square you just made, joining into the large square that is at right angles to the large square you started colour A in. Just keep increasing as usual, changing colours when necessary then decrease accordingly. I found with each colour change I had to pull the yarn up the side of the current little square to bring it into position. You can't notice this on the finished large square at all. Of course, along with all this, we have to make sure we are placing the colours correctly according to the chart. Now I've worked it out, I think it is still easier than making individual squares and sewing them together, plus it looks much nicer where the large squares join.
Hi my name is Eva, I am working on this pattern however, when I joined my next start mine are going the same way . I tried to correct it but still end up with my blocks going the same way even when I turn it over. Will that make a big different?
Hi Eva, make sure you're watching all the videos on the placement of where you start each block. If you're still having issues please email me for help at twilighttaggers@gmail.com
Hi! The only way I've been able to get mine to work so they all go the opposite way on the starting row is to flip it and start on the opposite end of where I finished :)
Hi, I found that if I did squares with odd numbers of blocks in a row they would not match up properly. Try doing squares with even numbers of blocks in a row - 4, 6, 8 etc. Then mine match up fine.
Your tutorials on how to do the C2C JAYG are wonderful. I love C2C and am anxious to start an afghan using this method. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for rescuing me out of a pickle, all I could see was trebles right up on my work. But you fixed it, a million thanks 😊

I need help. I'm doing the carpenter wheel c2c and some of the squares are two colors. How do I join them like your doing in the video? TIA
Does it matter if your boxes are an odd or even number? I’m working a project and I can’t get my join box to be going the right direction in relation to the one next to it.
It does matter. Your should make your squares with an even number of boxes.

can i just make a lot of squares and then just sew them together
Hi Tabitha, of course you can but the join as you go way eliminates the need for separately joining all the squares at once. You can do it either way.
