Hi I have a MacBook Air a2179. It was water damaged on the audio jack board area. I changed the audio board, and the Mac does recognize the internal speakers when I go to system settings sounds, I see the internal speakers in the output section. However, I have no sounds, and this happens to internal speakers only, I can hear the sound through an external speaker or headphone. Could you please help? By the way, I am not sure if this is related or not, but there is a tiny led on the logic board beside the button used for draining extra power from the board, this led is always on. Thanks Hamid
🤣 not sure what happened in this repair, but the sound came back after fixing the path. Very soon I will remove the cap in a working logic board and check if the sound is still there.
