I love that you can bring bags on Disney rides. I wish other amusement parks would figure out how to make this possible! As someone who wears glasses and loves thrill rides, the trek across the ride car to the gear stowing area before getting back in the ride is an annoying ritual. I have to bring a bag just to have something to put my glasses in because sitting them bare on the little shelf will more likely result in damage. Granted, Disney isn't full of coasters and thrill rides but I truly love that they've solved this problem.
Universal requires you put your stuff in lockers because theyve had law suites from people being hit with projectiles that came lose from peoples pockets or bags while on rollercoasters. The dueling dragons stopped dueing cause a guy guy a pen lodged in his eye from the other train..I think he lost the eye..so they aire on the side of caution because of it. It does suck tho I always feel worried my stuff with magically get loose from the zippered pockets and fly away on a ride anyway so I dont mind.
Here in Tennessee an amazing local theme park called Dollywood you put your stuff in a bin or a locker and they keep it while your on roller coasters which most rides there are roller coasters with some intensity Dollywood is a day trip park though so you don’t take to much I just take my phone and sometimes a jacket the lockers are similar to universals but at Dollywood they take it right before you get on the ride it’s not in the queue like universal does it’s escpally important on things like wild eagle or hulk where there’s no floor
Pro tip if you have a water bottle in one of those pouches on the side, make sure you put it in the main compartment, especially if its heavy and filled with water.
I usually bring a cheap backpack that holds my sketchbook, travel drawing supplies, deodorant, a hand fan, my charger cord, earbuds, phone, altoids, hand sanitizer, a light sweatshirt, and my Disney vest, business card holder for money or any important cards, and my tiny journel for writing down what I did that day, liter bottle water, etc. Extra stuff I sometimes bring in the park are baggie to pick up random stuff, poncho, change for any pressed penny related things I need, etc.
LukeAsArts I haven’t been to Walt Disney World since 2004, but I am a frequent visitor to Disneyland Park in California. At Disneyland, if you purchase something, you have the free option to let the store check it for you and you pick it up at the entrance of the park when you leave. See if Walt Disney World does the same. Ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster worry free.
We have a 3 and almost 6 year old boy and girl. I hear it ALL the time from other parents heading to Disneyland... no one ever wants to bring or rent a stroller. Us personally, find it wonderful. Both of our kids are great walkers and next to never rode in strollers in their lives. At Disneyland however I HIGHLY recommend it! We usually bring my small side bag purse, a backpack that my husband carries (contains snacks or things we might need quickly) and then we leave a warm change of clothes for the evening and a bag of snacks in the stroller. We tend to bring it from one section of the park to the next rather than from one ride to the next. If our kids need to sit or nap or if we need to go to downtown Disney, it's super easy for us. I think strollers in the park with young children are so underrated!
Kate Riggen I agree. Back when I started going to Disneyland we had a few who still needed strollers. I just recommend renting though. One time our stroller got stolen! ^^'
My parents took a pushchair (stroller) to Disney with us till I was about 6 and everyone was always like "Why?" till the end of the day when they got sick of carrying stuff and I got tired and wanted to have a nap while waiting for Parades and shows.
When I go with my family, my mom likes to bring a small rolling cooler for snacks, drinks, and lunch. It's about half the size of a small suitcase. Not huge but still kind of a pain on some rides. That being said, we have gotten it on all the boat rides except the Jungle Cruise. There's lots of leg room on the other boat rides. We also took it on Haunted Mansion cause we could put it on the seat next to my dad while my mom and I shared a Doombuggy. When we weren't allowed to bring it on the ride, they let us put it in stroller parking, and one of the cast members even gave us a little sign and some tape where we could write our family name and put it on our cooler so that we knew which cooler was ours! We still have the sign on it now. Hope this is helpful to some of y'all!!
I am a minimalist, but I do stow dried fruit & nuts in baggies for energy on the go (stored in those extended shorts pockets that close with Velcro). Great vids!
Every summer I go to Disneyland with a group of 9-13 people. We usually have 3 bags filled with towels, extra clothes, jackets, those cool water fan spray bottles, some small snacks, and if we feel like it, some sort of thing like a notebook or sketch book for autographs. We also rent 2 motor scooters since there's 2-3 people that need it. It's a lot of preparation for one day, but that one day to Disneyland is worth it!
I’m not sure about the hotels besides the Grand Californian, but they have this minty foot cream and wow is it a lifesaver at night after a day at the park. Same goes if you want to pick up a bottle of this stuff called bengay which has menthol in it. As someone who has a lot of foot problems this stuff has saved me during week long or even just two or three day disney trips.
Disney should make accommodations to include secured zipper pouches underneath seats for personal items on all thrill rides. That would make it a lot easier instead of having to loop bag straps between legs.
To any one who was at Disney World end of February begging of March 2017 I apologize because I briefly shut down the Dinosaur ride at Hollywood studios because I lost my backpack and they shut it down to retrieve it.
I go to Disney World with my family, I don't usually carry many stuff on my backpack other then a bottle for water, my camera and sunscreen so pretty much go with an almost empty backpack. My backpack usually is used by my family to put things that they don't want to carry for a moment, and even so, it doesn't get all fill up, so it hasn't been a problem when I go to the rides I love.
TLDR: Check ALL your bags and pockets, before you go on a ride! A few years ago, I went to a ccounty fair with classmates and we went on one of those spinny things where you get jolted into all directions. While we were waiting in line, a cellphone from one of the people that were currently on the ride fell down and completely shattered on the asphalt. We even made fun of this, which was pretty shitty, but to be fair we were 8th graders and that's the age group that is scientfically proven to have the least empathy (disclaimer: made up science is made up). Then we went on it and after that one of my friend was franatically searching for her cellphone. When she eventually found it, it was in the front pocket of her hoodie and she was damn lucky that it didn't fall out. On this day I learned two things: 1) Making fun of people to whom something bad happened is shitty and 2) check ALL your pockets before you go on a ride.
Because of my illnesses, I have to be one of those people who pack everything including the kitchen sink even with taking a midday break. I have to have water, my bag of emergency medications and my epinephrine pen...and I always like to pack away a little poncho from the dollar store. I also like to carry a little something for emergency blood sugar drops, even though you can get food all over the parks, I sometimes need a specific thing that I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to find on short notice. Cool video! Love the tip about putting your bag straps under and around your leg, that’s what I do too!
Disney roller coaster dont have mich airtime so the bags wouldnt be able to leave the cart, the only rides that have a lot of airtime is tower of terror and some parts in space mountain
Our last trip was with my dad in a wheelchair, and 2 kids. Going back mid day was more difficult with the wheelchair. We did leave to go to some of our dinner reservations, and then would usually go to the Magic Kingdom after and then my husband would run all over playing the Sorcers game with the older son while I sat through Philharmagic several times with the younger one. He was obsessed with it. Dad would go back to the hotel as he was tired. My kids were 11 and 7 at the time.
It actually amazes me how OK Disney is with bringing stuff onto even their highest-thrill attractions. Most theme parks with thrill rides are far stricter--arguably that is because their rides generally get far more intense than Disney's, but, then again, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is up there; it'd be a respectable ride at a Six Flags.
The last time I was there, I took in a medium sized shoulder-slung camera bag with 2 cams, spare "film" (chips and mini CDRs), extra batteries, and several plastic bags in which to tuck the camera bag on wet rides. On the coasters, I'd just shove my leg through the strap until it was pinned under my thigh and the bag would stick to my lap as if it were glued in place. I'd only buy souvenirs on the way out each day and there was enough room in the bag for those modest purchases. Instead of napping in my room at All-Stars midday, I'd head off-property to shoot photos for a project, then hop to another park for the rest of the day.
You talking about people being very prepared reminds me of me, everything you mentioned like aspirin, plasters, something for blisters is what I always carry in my bag (I actually take a mini first aid kit in my bag if I'm going out walking in the countryside). Something I don't take with me is sun cream as I always forget (same as a hat).
I usually go with family / friends for a day solely so I tend to take a medium-sized backpack with a bottle of water, my wallet, a tote bag to remove my jacket / put my purchases in, a tiny bag in my backpack with a few meds, bandaids, hand sanitizer, wipes, tissues, chapstick and gum and I'm good to go. I slide it in my legs during rides that would need it and I'm good to go!
when I go with other people we load one backpack with everything for everyone so like 2 umbrellas maybe light jackets along with that and some like headache medicine just in case
Hey Rob, my favorite thing in Dinoland other than Dinosaur? RESTAURANTOSAURUS - unlimited toppings. You can buy the smallest meal and then LOAD your plate for a makeshift salad or whatever. Healthy AND affordable. Both hard to find in Disney, unfortunately.
Another option for bags on rides is to wear your backpack on the front. Sling bags are good for this because you don't have to take them off to do this, you just pull it to the front.
Me, my best friend and mother often do day trips. I always, allllways bring a lot of water so I don't have to buy drinks, sometimes snacks and a hand fan in my backpack. I bring a poncho depending on the forecast, and my portable phone charger and cord. Other than that, just money and my ticket. I feel like it'd be good to have bandaids or medicine on hand for pain though. I can't tell you how many times i've been rammed into by someone trying to get to a fastpass quickly or knocked over by a running kid lmao. It's good to have a few small things for health.
I bought a bum bag or fanny pack you guys call it within moments at arriving at Epcot, I had camera money and asthma inhaler to lug around best thing I bought! Still have it and didn’t get in way of rides etc
I would suggest that if you get paranoid about these things to leave your bag at home for space mountain since there's no where that will keep your bag entirely safe
I was a single dad and when the kids were small I took a small backpack. As they got older I went down to a fanny pack (yeah... fanny packs are lame... such is life). The concept of going back to hotel never made sense to me. If am paying for a park - I am there from rope drop to fireworks, or later.
Rob if you could have any Disney ride vehicle turned into a car that you could drive around town, what ride would you choose? For me it's a 3 way tie. I would love the super stretch limo from rock 'n' roller coaster, an autopia car, or an Indiana Jones jeep from Disneyland. Maybe the tower of terror elevator just to mess with people on the highway....
Rest mainly. It might partially be an age thing, but over the years we find it harder and harder to tour the parks all day non-stop from rope drop to close. Usually by taking an hour or two to go to the resort, kick off our shoes, recharge, eat and relax, it helps us make it to the end of the day. Especially if it's during the warmer months and during longer trips where we're at parks 4 or 5 days in a row.
weckar That's common. The parks are crazy busy at mid day so leaving after lunch until an hour after the parade (usually around 4ish) is a good way to actually relax some, enjoy your resort, and be ready to go when you get back to the parks
+weckar if you are under 30, you might be able to push through all day, but it enhances many a tourist's visit to rest away from the overwhelming fun (crowds, heat). If you have small children, it is a necessity to remove them from the stimulation. It is foolish and cruel to expect a small child to keep up with adults for sixteen hours straight.
I had my DSLR in the weird flimsy pouch on Rockin Roller Coaster once. I'm telling you, it was fine, but never again. I was so scared I was gonna catch a camera to the face. The elastic at the top felt so loose but I think the centrifugal force of the loops kept it in place.
I've always taken at last a backpack with me to Disneyland and I grew up in Southern California, we went all the time, I'v even had season passes before. I took a couple of washcloths, a towel, if it was Summer i took a light jacket and a pair of pants, it's warm during the day but can get cold at night and the towel and washcloths were for water rides, and something to sit on during Fantasmic. My friend made fun of me for taking a backpack, then he regretted it after he ended up putting all the stuff he bought in my bag and using my towels later in the day. Now I am wheelchair bound and it's not as big of a deal to have extra stuff because we leave it with my wheelchair while we go on rides and those are kept in a watched area, I just don't leave purses or wallets on the chair but extra bags for shopping and some snacks for the kids, easy peasy. The trick of putting the two shoulder straps over your legs is always what I have done and there are only a couple of rides where that doesn't work well.
I was at rocking rollercoaster in disneyland paris and i was allowed to have my backpack with me.. I bought a pillowpet and it was tugged in and we webt in the ride for like 12 times in a row and they just allowed it, notging happened.. just put you feet in the loops
When I went with my family last summer we pretty much just brought phones, water, and our wallets and we were good. Again we're an older family the youngest being me at 14. The way I see it is unless you have fairly young children or any kind of special needs ( we used to have to bring in aspirin because my brother got random terrible headaches ) pack minimal. You can always go back to the hotel
Cargo shorts were a good solution when I was younger and unencumbered by kids LOL.. Later we used the Fanny packs because everything was easily accessible and strapped to our persons and couldn't be accidentally left behind; each kid had a water bottle and snack not just for cost savings but for convenience. Now, I'm considering a backpack so your series is timely. This is a vain reason. I'm already fat enough without adding the bulk of a Fanny pack LOL.... Anyway, we still carry water and snacks, especially with a diabetic in the family having something quickly is extremely important.
Awesome to know that I can potentially bring a small backpack onto rock n rollercoaster. I was concerned about what to do with the one we carry our battery chargers, spare socks and water bottle in.
I drive down from jax. I try to go as bagless as possible I hate bag check, and I hate lugging stuff around, I should probably get the little wallets on a lanyard.
When i go to the parks im always there from opening time until closing time and all i bring is my wallet (in my back pocket), my phone (in my left pocket), my car/house keys (right pocket) and my magicband with me. If i need pictures i have my phone, if i need fastpasses and my ticket i have my magicband and if i need food or water i buy it in the park. This is just WAY more comfortable for me but I know girls dont have alot of pockets in their clothes. I just have having to do that bag check when i get to the park and i dont like having to worry about personal items because God knows i misplace everything haha.
Thanks for answering my question! I didn't think you were gonna answer it much less make a video of it! Anyways, for me what I bring depends on my situation. If I am going with my family then I won't bring anything because I can just keep my stuff with my mom. But if I am going by myself or friends then I bring a book bag like you.
Something cool about dinoland that’s not dinosaur is the restraunt o Sauros thing it’s not the best meal but you can get a soda or something small without too much of a line
2:15 no such thing as centrifugal forces really....I could tell you knew that. But all the same, you definitely should secure your things for turns and negative g situations!!! :)
what about the refillable mugs that you get with the meal plan, do they have cubby holes you can put them and bags on before getting on the ride? I know my local amusement park dose but dose Disney?
Nope, Disney typically does not have areas on ride queues for you to leave your bags. In most instances ride vehicles themselves will have some kind of netting or pouch for you to put small bags or items in. For most rides you can either use the pouch or just keep the bags at your feet.
I have a child and still take as little as possible. I have a lightweight bag and will bring travel sunscreen, my portable charger, and my ponchos. That's it.
Sadly I haven't been to Disney World, but I have been to Disney Land when I was around 5. I don't remember anything really, so I am looking forward to meeting Oswald. (plot twist)
backpack with water, Sun screen, poncho, aspirin, phone w/case credit cards and ID, hand sanitizer, lotion, small blanket and sweater, sunglasses, phone charger, I wear a lanyard with cash and hotel key. as I write this out I'm thinking this is too much stuff but I use it all.
I was riding Star Tours and this sassy Cast Member yelled at everyone to put their bags under their seats and I quote "if it looks like a bag then it's a bag so put it under their
When I go to Disneyland being that I live near by I would bring water bottles and maybe some snacks if we were staying a while but when I went with my girlfriend she brought a change of socks for after water rides and drinks because we didn't want to pay for drinks
About dinoland I'm not going to say primeval whirl is a good ride but it is probably the 2nd best thing in dinoland besides dinosaur even though it has no theming and is virtually a carnival ride much like the rest of dinoland
Ahoyhoy there, fellow RUclipsrino, what about a pointy nosed doll and a Game boy advance? Would the doll be considered dangerous to bring on a ride in a bag ? I bring this toy and sometimes my Game boy everywhere for sentimental reasons. Would the device short out the ride? Specifically I'm talking about The Haunted Mansion. For that ride only would I want my favourite toy to be with me on my favourite ride. It's a 2003 Gemmy Mo Money Mr. Burns doll to be exact, and the nose is kind of pointy, would it be considered dangerous to bring?
Every park (including the water parks) have a first aid center, so unless you can't bear the thought of wasting time to cross the park to get a band aid, don't overdo the first aid kit. Sunscreen. Um, you look like you've never had a sunburn, but even if I'm going back to the hotel to rest, I need to reapply sunscreen...cuz I'm pale...
You've clearly never delt with preschooler. Right now it needs to be fixed with right band aid some preschoolers are very particular. And preschoolers tend to freak out if not delt with right away.
I have a mini backpack, so I keep a phone charger, hand sanitizer, a granola bar or two, and my wallet. Since the backpack is so small it doesn’t bother me
The NASA kid science Mr.Science kid can you release it to somewhere like minecraftmaps.com when you're done. If you do, try not to make it a Dropbox. I'd love to see it.
I brought my backpack on rock n roller coaster and it was scary haha I put my legs through the arm straps and jammed my feet against the floor so it wouldn't fall out. Was their own damn fault though, they had NOWHERE to put bags for that ride. They may have changed it since I went but it was like yeah sorry you're gonna have to leave and line up again if you wanna go put your bag in a locker or something. ¯\(ツ)/¯
I bring my backpack (bookbag) and in it has Lysol wipes (for the toilets (I do NOT trust public restrooms)) and Gold Bond (for those leg rashes)! Rain gear goes in there also (it rains like clockwork every afternoon there). Everything else goes in it also (including a plastic bag to wrap the backpack in also for the water rides. During those times I even put my wallet and such in also. Also, things we purchase at the stores go in the bag as well (the smaller things we do not have shipped to our room that is). Also, I have never had an issue bringing my backpack on any rides that I can recall. I did as you did and just stuck a leg through the arm loop of the backpack while boarding the ride. Of course this was near impossible for me to do on Space Mountain, and I had to hold on to it with my hands. I almost lost it on one of the turns. That was NOT fun! We actually saw a backpack on the track for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad once and soon after we passed it, they shut the ride down to retrieve it. One downside is that on attractions that interact with you can sometimes be blocked by the bag on the floor and you miss out on those effects. But those are very rare. PS. As for the ride in Dinoland besides Dinosaur, the mouser style roller coaster that spins the car you are in is very fun also!
Nah, it's a Spielberg film and that's strictly Universal. Not to mention one of Universals most beloved and iconic movies. Universal has Spielberg and Disney has Lucas and it's kind of been that way since the 80s.
Enjoy that while you still can. Sooner or later, yeah, that book bag will be banned. Disney is pretty cool about that so far, but that will change. It's inevitable, try bringing that book bag or even a purse to a sporting event - no go. Try bringing your laptop on the plane with you - feel the joy! Strollers brought in by guests? That's on the way out too. Folks won't like it, but that's just the way it's going to be.
Bags will never be banned from the parks. The parks are too large and families require too much with them to do otherwise. A family of 5 with 2 young kids? You need to carry so much to take care of them. Instead Disney will just keep doing what they're already doing, which is bumping up bag-checks and security points.
I like your optimism, I really do: www.orlandosentinel.com/business/tourism/os-disney-security-policy-20171227-story.html When something really bad happens at a theme park, (like what recently happened in Vegas - see that story) Disney or not, yeah, no more or _very_ restricted bags and no strollers brought in by guests. You won't like it, but they'll do it, I promise.
We'll have to agree to disagree then. They are never going to ban strollers at massive theme parks designed for families and intended to be visited by guests with small children. Will never happen. I'll put it this way: when someone attempted to blow up a plane with a shoe-bomb, they didn't ban shoes on airplanes. They started checking shoes, but you were still allowed to wear em. Bags and strollers are as crucial to getting around the parks for many as shoes are for those traveling at airports. They might check em, but they can't flat-out remove em.
Actually they'll ban strollers brought in from the outside soon. In fact, this will be the perfect excuse to do it. ''Sorry, no 'outside strollers' in the park - for security reasons'' [Security Host] says: ''Allow me to show you Stroller Rental'' You admit it yourself, Disney _is_ about making money. Also: www.campingworldstadium.com/plan-your-visit/pro-bowl-event-guide
Again, 100% disagree. We'll have to agree to disagree. I'm also not sure what point you think you're proving by linking to the rules page for a completely different and off-site event at a whole other venue, but whatever. You're welcome to come gloat when they ban strollers, but my money is on that happen right around never.
So that's actually a Disney parks puzzle that comes in a box that looks like a fairy tale book. I don't now if they officially sell it anymore but it's used on Amazon (www.amazon.com/Disney-World-Night-Storybook-Puzzle/dp/B00OVJQC44/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1530111911&sr=8-20&keywords=disney+parks+puzzle) No clue why it's so expensive though!
There are certain events where you can wear costumes (like the Halloween parties) but it's typically ill-advised. If your costume is too character-accurate, security may not allow you to enter the park. It's better to represent your favorite films and characters with little bits here and there (a shirt or a pin or even a Disneybound if that's your thing) but costumes definitely teeter the edge so unless its for a ticketed, costume-approved event, it's best to save it for a convention.
Hey rob I heard buzzy from cranium command has been repaired do you think this means the wonders of life will be coming back thanks and have a magical day
I bring my 3DS, my camera, my extra SD cards, my battery pack (plus various cables for 3DS, phone, and camera), ponchos, water bottle, and my micro edc first aid kit for pain, burns, minor cuts, and boo boos
Did I see you in line for Peter Pan this last Sunday (6/4) first thing in the morning? Sorry if my staring creeped you out, I wasn't sure if it was you! If it wasn't, then there is some poor soul thinking a crazy lady is stalking him!

ive always done the exact same thing, the looping a bookbag around my legs thing, its never failed :o)
also i once saw a couple rolling around luggages at magic kingdom which i found to be a bit extreme
Same! I've always been a little paranoid, especially after a friend's purse fell out of Big Thunder Mountain. Hahaha.
Nothing's more traumatizing than seeing your bag literally levitate above the floor when the elevator starts to drop.
The pure fear you get when carrying a Disney Bag after buying something at a store onto Rockin' Roller Coaster....
LukeAsArts I haven’t been to Walt Disney World since 2004, but I am a frequent visitor to Disneyland Park in California. Leg looping forever! I've used handbags, satchels, book bags and cross-body bags and they're literally all fine as long as you secure them.

I do think wheeled coolers are on the no list now, but it does sound convienient!

Disney should make accommodations to include secured zipper pouches underneath seats for personal items on all thrill rides. That would make it a lot easier instead of having to loop bag straps between legs.
I took a backpack on hyperspace mountian and idiana jones is paris and they had no problem..

Aw, Dinoland is cool. The theming and backstory are actually quite detailed.
A drawstring bag with some small essentials and space to carry things i might buy
Can you do a video on where are the placement of photopass on rides that way we don’t get taken off guard lol 😜
LOL love your answer to the question at the end. I kinda like primeval whirl mostly cause it spins
But do you bring dank memes to WDW Rob?
Flyswatter Network
Your memes suck
Maybe the tower of terror elevator just to mess with people on the highway....
rct3isepic Buzz lightyear space Ranger spin cart.
I love this question!
Why would you waste valueble Disney time to go to the hotel mid-day??
I suppose it may be different when you have to fly intercontinentally to get there.
When I myself was small (3-8) we never left any park ever...
I do the same thing with the book bag loops!
I had my DSLR in the weird flimsy pouch on Rockin Roller Coaster once. I'm telling you, it was fine, but never again. I was so scared I was gonna catch a camera to the face. The elastic at the top felt so loose but I think the centrifugal force of the loops kept it in place.
Yeah I know that feeling all too well. I started putting it in my bookbag after that with the ole' one leg through the strap trick.
Last time I went to Universal I got a blister so I can see the logic in bringing stuff for that. Especially at Disney.
And bandaids take up hardly any room. I always have a couple stuffed in my wallet because they're handy and barely even there.
I try to bring as little as possible and wear shorts with a lot of pockets to put things in so I do not have to go though bag check! ^_^
I think it's safe to assume they have bandaids in the park... probably disney themed ones too.
My mom took her purse on rock and roller coaster and the bag stayed planted to the floor because the ride somewhat holds the bag down.
I need that bag in the thumbnail
what about the refillable mugs that you get with the meal plan, do they have cubby holes you can put them and bags on before getting on the ride? I know my local amusement park dose but dose Disney?
Nope, Disney typically does not have areas on ride queues for you to leave your bags. In most instances ride vehicles themselves will have some kind of netting or pouch for you to put small bags or items in. For most rides you can either use the pouch or just keep the bags at your feet.
I have a child and still take as little as possible. I have a lightweight bag and will bring travel sunscreen, my portable charger, and my ponchos. That's it.
Thank you Rob. This video was very helpful. :)
Last time our family of four went to Disney World, each person brought a fanny pack and my dad brought a backpack with water and other stuff in it.
We took bags on all the rides, we took back packs and did the same as you x
i live really close to disney and go from time to time, i don't really care much, nothing bag wise. The most i'll carry with me is a bottle of water
R.I.P. Tower Of Terror.
If you only had one day to spend at WDW which park would you go to and why?
Sadly I haven't been to Disney World, but I have been to Disney Land when I was around 5. I don't remember anything really, so I am looking forward to meeting Oswald. (plot twist)
I just bring snacks and maybe an umbrella (yes I use them)
backpack with water, Sun screen, poncho, aspirin, phone w/case credit cards and ID, hand sanitizer, lotion, small blanket and sweater, sunglasses, phone charger, I wear a lanyard with cash and hotel key. as I write this out I'm thinking this is too much stuff but I use it all.
I was riding Star Tours and this sassy Cast Member yelled at everyone to put their bags under their seats and I quote "if it looks like a bag then it's a bag so put it under their
TheBacnJake That's because the room moves and bags can go bouncing around
My mom always brings 4 lunches so we can save money
When I go to Disneyland being that I live near by I would bring water bottles and maybe some snacks if we were staying a while but when I went with my girlfriend she brought a change of socks for after water rides and drinks because we didn't want to pay for drinks
dinoland has a wacky theme about it
Thank You, so much, for doing this video!
You'd be fine bringing both into the parks. Neither would be considered dangerous.
Kristen Kruse same with the sunscreen.... I carry it, even at home
You've clearly never delt with preschooler. Right now it needs to be fixed with right band aid some preschoolers are very particular. And preschoolers tend to freak out if not delt with right away.
this was really helpful. I subscribed and I thank you :)
+Jill Tripp Glad it could help! Welcome to the family!
Depending on the weather. Sweater, water bottle, sun screen, allergie meds, wallet.
WHERE DID YOU GET THAT BAG IN THE THUNBNAIL
I have a mini backpack, so I keep a phone charger, hand sanitizer, a granola bar or two, and my wallet. Since the backpack is so small it doesn’t bother me
hey rob iam building disneys blizzard beach water park in Minecraft so farr its been looking just like the real one and its been alot of fun :)
Like Rob says, the G-force will glue the bag to the floor on loops anyway.
I got this spray hand sanitizer I think it was by purell or some one of them I used to use that, Lysol wipes can get really $$$ over time x.x
I have a quetstion on the park do you think that disney will buy ET's rigths
Noooooooooooooooo. Disney wouldn't and Universal wouldn't sell. Also never ride the ET ride, it's terrible. Really needs to be redone or replaced.
Nah, it's a Spielberg film and that's strictly Universal. Not to mention one of Universals most beloved and iconic movies. Universal has Spielberg and Disney has Lucas and it's kind of been that way since the 80s.
What are the rules of food? I keep getting my food dumbed out telling me i cant have food at all, even tho i have soy allergy
Disney World allows guests to bring snacks or any foods that don't require reheating.
I like your optimism, I really do: www.orlandosentinel.com/business/tourism/os-disney-security-policy-20171227-story.html
When something really bad happens at a theme park, (like what recently happened in Vegas - see that story) Disney or not, yeah, no more or _very_ restricted bags and no strollers brought in by guests.
You're welcome to come gloat when they ban strollers, but my money is on that happen right around never.
what is that Disney parks book and where do I get it
So that's actually a Disney parks puzzle that comes in a box that looks like a fairy tale book.
Rob Plays are there any Disney coffee table books you recommend?
gr8 video man how often do u go
How to how to pronounce "Book-bag" = "Back-pack" =P... I kid another great episode!
they have hidden Mickey's in Disneyland do they have any in wdw
Hundreds. A quick Google search finds so many you'll never find them all.
where did you get that backpack from in the thumbnail😍
Cargo pants: zip your phone and id and glass case on your pants
On thrill rides with no hook or net I just stick my leg through the strap.
Are you allowed to wear cosumes in Disney world? as long as they're not Disney characters.
There are certain events where you can wear costumes (like the Halloween parties) but it's typically ill-advised. If your costume is too character-accurate, security may not allow you to enter the park. It's better to represent your favorite films and characters with little bits here and there (a shirt or a pin or even a Disneybound if that's your thing) but costumes definitely teeter the edge so unless its for a ticketed, costume-approved event, it's best to save it for a convention.
for adults it would be sillybut if your super young like 1-5 or 6 but 7 and up I say no
Hey rob I heard buzzy from cranium command has been repaired do you think this means the wonders of life will be coming back thanks and have a magical day
I bring my 3DS, my camera, my extra SD cards, my battery pack (plus various cables for 3DS, phone, and camera), ponchos, water bottle, and my micro edc first aid kit for pain, burns, minor cuts, and boo boos
Just use cargo shorts. Or leave it with whoever isn't riding
Did I see you in line for Peter Pan this last Sunday (6/4) first thing in the morning? Sorry if my staring creeped you out, I wasn't sure if it was you! If it wasn't, then there is some poor soul thinking a crazy lady is stalking him!
Haha wasn't me! Must have been a lookalike! Unfortunately haven't been in the parks since April.
Um Rob you got copyrighted by Disney on your Doctor Strange Movie Review xD
Yeah I noticed. Gonna work on a re-edit tonight that gets around it and re-upload hopefully tonight!
looks like Disney finally took notice of your content Rob!
Congrats no dislikes
I hate roller coasters I have a weak stomach
