He was more motivated to fight for the revolution than the programs Beck recruited in episode 14. If only Beck brought him back to Tron not letting him go then he'd still be around. It wasn't a wise choice but oh well. Hopefully if we get a season 2 we can see the other programs have that same motivation for the revolution kind of like they did in the season 1 finale.
