Wasn't Shady ahead of him the entire time they did the Map Randomizer? They didn't finish it, but he was definitely ahead of Smant

That was pretty close. Gotta admit though, it was amazing that Smallant instinctively knew he was gonna need Ho-oh and its' Ruins of Alph door to get to Red.
oh yeah he had some crazy good intuition there for sure.
@@Blooby Let's not forget that it wasn't just Smant who figured that out. Even if you never actually found Red you knew you needed Ho-Oh.

I watch allot of both Blooby and Smant, and the few days before their battle was a ton of fun to watch. I've never seen Smant sweat in a randomizer as much as he did against Blooby. Crazy battle, loved watching you two race. Have a great day!

For better interaction with the algorithm, you shouldn't bleep the curses, instead you should mute them. Algo thinks bleeping is cursing.
Naw fuck that, don't change who you are for other people. Keep making the content you want. Personal I don't think you should bleep the cursing.
Or just put a random sound over it

Damn, you're the only person who gave him a run for his money like that. He was actually sweating. I think if you challenged again you could win for sure. Found you earlier today, subbed for sure!
It's just hard to out-think Smant. He has his dumb moments, but he thinks of basically everything. When you caught Lugia, I thought you had a really good shot at beating him, but he was already thinking that he'd have to do every story thing to get everything from that, and he thought he would have to catch Ho-oh just to get to Red super early. Just dumb how many things he keeps track of with his notes and on the fly.
The size of this game makes a race like this so insane. I like that since it was a custom map you guys just knew certain things would be in specifically hard places. Are there any easier places that you skipped because of this?
Yeah, actually I miss super obvious stuff all the time while looking for the really far away stuff LOL

I have watched a good few races and this one felt the most like I was switching between channels. The timing of the edits made it feel live. Great work, and fantastic dedication to constantly swap clips through the video.

You two are both absolute demons at this, and I love it. I genuinely do not believe anyone else would have gotten this seed figured out in time to keep up with you two. That was terrifyingly close.
I think what would make this better is if you had chat on emote only, so its much more tense. Chat seems to tell a lot, like if Ant is telling the truth or not, and how he is doing plus what legends he has

I don't think her team would have been strong enough. She might have needed another legendary or mewtwo too. But yeah, super close. Looking forward to a possible rematch!

That was a super fun stream to watch, and a really nice video as well. Inspired me to try the map randomiser, it took me a good couple hours over the span of 2 days. This run on a randomiser that was made to be harder was extremely impressive.

ahh see I've had some folks mention this - but I'm responding to every comment so I'm happy to repeat myself: I had chat closed on my monitor the entire time!! if I was cheating, y'all would've been able to tell, and I would've gotten un-stuck in spots like hours before I found them. I just have a smaller community, and figured I'd rather let them talk amongst themselves without me looking

It's edited SUPER well, good job to both participants
Key points / Spoilers:
Was super weird watching the squad stream - they were never separated by more than 5 mins for most of the game
Blooby calling Jasmine by the name of Whitney was actually something she did frequently during practice, and served as the ultimate payoff in this race,
Blooby actually beat Karen before SmallAnt (by under a minute), but SmallAnt knew where Lance was
When Blooby was beating Lance, SmallAnt was defeating Erika, although Blooby did have a Lugia by that point
Basically playing catchup from there, hoping for a white-out stall in order to sweep (Lugia vs hoping for white-outs)
After Blooby complains about Viridian (or lack of RockClimb), then SmallAnt abandons the original team strat and goes for a legendary (or Mewtwo)
OriginalTeam was never going to work - that Pikachu basically sweeps his team (VoltTackle + Hail is basically a guaranteed kill, even on a level 100 Crobat)
