Another tip I picked up on this serve is that the contact point on your blade is important, even more so with this serve because motion is so compact and wrist oriented. The head of the racket, furthest from the handle, is moving much faster because you’re pivoting at the wrist, so you can get a lot more spin by putting extra effort into getting the right contact point.
definitely true. contacting the ball closer to the tip of your racket will generate more spin than hitting it closer to the handle. with the reverse pendulum having so much wrist motion in it, the contact point will influence the spin more so than with other serves.
