what do you do if they drop it really short on your forehand side? No way to reach there if you're getting ready to attack with forehand from your backhand side.

I have trouble with high spinny loops on my backhand. I use Spinfire shortpips with 1.5mm sponge. I just try and do a dead block and I find the ball just goes off the table. Should I be more aggressive and just try to hit them off the bounce? What are your suggestions? This is my main weakness. If I can get these back then I should beat a few of these blokes that do this.

Hi, I am from Serbia and I found this video accidentally looking for windshield serve. Actually I was looking for how to return it. In your video I found that this serve is actually top-spin or side spit so in my games I teturm ot accordingly. Maybe you could explain yourself how to return it in next video. Thanks😊

Serving with pure backspin also makes it harder for your opponent to return your serve with a strong flip unless they're playing at a very advanced level; I've always had problems producing pure backspin, almost all of my pendulum serves seem to have a sidespin component even when I try to keep my paddle flat, the resulting serve almost always tails off to the right side of the table.

I would like to see some reverse penhold serves. That opens up a lot more variations to confuse an opponent. They don't know when your going to use the backside of the paddle until contact.

Great tuto , i humbly suggest you use less wording but more slow motion action , based on psychology : learning by seeing is more effective then by lsitening. Wiper is my prefered serve.

When serving, the server needs to be behind the end line or its extension. 1) Does contact with the ball need to be between the sidelines? 2a) After the ball crosses the net and hits the far court, does the ball have to pass within the sidelines if the opponent were to make contact after the ball goes beyond the endline? 2b) When the serve hits the opponent's side of the court, is it permissible to have enough backspin on the ball such that the ball could hit the far court twice (if the opponent let the ball go untouched), or must the ball have enough forward motion such that it would not hit the table a second time and be off the table to the floor if not contacted by the opponent?

If you are taking the racket straight back, doesn't that cause problems because you have telegraphed exactly where you are hitting the ball well before you hit it? How often do you use this shot in a game?

The topspin serve is not 100% topspin like a forehand loop, but a side-spin serve, but is not a backspin for sure. The top spin is done by contact over the ball forward. With the raise elbow it a combination of side spin and top spin. If you change the angle a little bit and raise the elbow you can increase the top spin

@TableTennisJunkie @penholdpips and other, recommend please a racket for beginner penholder. for Chinese rubbers. Dhs hurricane or tg skyline 2 or 3. is it possible to play RBH with Hurricane or better to go with tensors? The setup should be slow enough to learn the basics but fast enough not to hinder further development.

I struggle with this part of the game . A long with the rest. If you do a video on that, it will be the first. I like how you guys really break things down so I can understand them . The first rule that you mentioned, is it still valid in 2023 because the service rules of 2023 ITTF handbook doesnot have any mention of this. Does this mean that if you toss and dont serve but rather hold it since the toss was not as per your desire is a "let"

I practiced returns with Rick Seemiller 45 years ago. I couldn't return even _one_ serve.

What prevents the returner doing a return flick with the forearm. Would that mean i didnt get enough backspin
