Any reason as to why you go out of your way to brace the gun when enemies are close enough that hipfire should suffice? I usually use the MKV and rarely brace, so I don’t know much about MKII. MKII’s hipfire recoil doesn’t seem that bad either.
mk2 has 3 rounds burst for hipfire and 2 rounds burst for braced...i think he keep bracing is to ammo efficient with ripper gun as the gun tend to love ammo dumping with its burst fire...tbh i would rather have them to have 1 round for hipfire and burst - auto for braced.
I don't have a clear reason, but I guess it is to shoot as precisely as possible. I would use a hip fire when using a can opener or in dangerous situations, but if the area is safe, I would not bother to use it, in my opinion. It is nice to be able to take a stagger right away. I guess it is a matter of taste.
@@chocoB777 The MkV has the best minimum pellet count from not bracing where as the other two variants don’t really benefit much. Do you know if bracing gives any benefits like more stagger or tighter spread Choco? I’m not sure why anyone would bother bracing with the Rippers besides the stability improvement or if bracing even helps stability.
@@Redx130000 As I mentioned in the overview section, this is the first time I have used a ripper gun properly, so I am not familiar with this weapon to begin with. I also tried a few MkVs, but I felt that the accuracy and damage at mid-range were better. As you said, the advantages and disadvantages are certainly important, but I think that the way in which it is easy for me to use is more important. I don't have an idea of what I think should be done. I think you can choose whichever you like. It is simply that for me it is easier to handle with bracing.
@@chocoB777 What’s most important is if they feel fun! Play with what you want I was just curious if you had any insight. I don’t own a pc or console so I get my fill of Darktide from people like you! Keep it up.
We simply can't move on until the ogryn snipes the sniper with his short range ripper gun. There is no other solution. Hurry up, ogryn, take care of it. Why aren't you picking me up?
Crossing my fingers they were going for their penance which is annoying in itself that they’d drag down their teammates in Damnation+ if that were the case. One thing to be a bad player you can learn although they should probably try lower tier difficulties but it’s another thing to just throw the game on purpose and burden others.
With this combo I was wondering what you would do against crushers, but of course, Can Opener.
Pretty sure I saw shimano the ogryn in a pub match the other day, Grund says hi, keep it up.
21:03 put a smile on my face. Can I ask why you use the Bullfighter feat over Towering Presence?
More dashes
punching that sniper to death made my day.
Thank you finally the ripper dis gun is badass dud I love you ❤

My favorite Ogryn weapon is my MkII ripper gun with flechette, cavalcade IV, and +5% crit chance. Bleed the runts dry

That hound at 12:53 was quite the acrobat.
Oblivion dialogue
I am guessing that psyker either isn't used to damnation+ or was attempting "out with a bang"
