I love how those lightning bolts illuminate the map at the beginning. Both new maps are great, but certainly Archivum Sycorax is just more beautiful by far
What specs does your PC have and what graphics settings do you use? Your game looks like the trailers and seems to be running really smooth. I'm jealous ^ - ^
Hey chocob, I been seeing your videos for a while now and was inspired to do a cataclysm run and well while I died I was very happy on how far I got on cataclysm and was wondering if you had any tips for future runs?
I am not a good enough player to give advice to others, but if I had to, I would say to always be aware of priority targets. For example, when I am fighting the Horde, I always take care of the Specials, and even if there is some risk, I will go for the Specials first. Of course, it is a case-by-case basis, but that is what I do.
Nice gameplay as always, さすがChocoBさん. Your skill and decision making in the thick of fighting always amaze me. Btw, is it just my imagination, I feel like bladed weapons are a lot more effective against unarmored enemies and hordes. While blunt feels like just knocking 'em around.
As you say, blades are more effective against non-armor. But each weapon has different characteristics, so perhaps it is better to isolate each weapon separately. I haven't quite grasped it yet either.
@@chocoB777everything else other than the blades for ogryn have a max damage cap of 3. It will still knock away chunks of the horde but clear by yourself can be very slow.
Both the new maps are a fine addition but maybe might have to take a break from Darktide for a while. Not saying it is a bad experience but some time to refresh before next big updates will help reinvigorate the love for the game instead of making it stale and frustrating.
I don't know how to define a perfect transition, but I am very vague. I don't care too much; if Vermintide wants to do it, they will do it. I just like Darktide as well.
The more smooth brained people may not have noticed, but if you look closely you can see ChocoB actually paying attention to the rest of the team in the 4 player co-op game. Get your notepads out smooth brains.
@@meestersecure9060My favorite is the people who play Ogryn(a support oriented tank) and literally just f**k off like they're playing COD. I feel your pain brother✊

Grats on the clean, methodical run. Learnt a lot from your movement. Kudos to your wingman as well, he's like Vasily Zaytsev
Thank you for these videos. You're the reason I main Ogryn and you've taught me a lot. Keep up the good work!

Looks as smooth because it is post processed for the upload and capped on 60 fps.
CPU: Intel Core i7-10700K
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB
@@chocoB777 thank you very much for replying! Also thank you for sharing your videos with everyone

I like your fov in this. What is it?
True Solo mod is out and it seems pretty smooth. Looking forward to your gameplay.
I will probably post a video of me playing with Solo soon.
Love the rubler but wish it had two settings
have you completely moved on from vermintide do darktide or do you plan on returning?

graphics settings?
Nice.

library is fun as heck, riser is boring just like the other rewards :)

I've yet to clear this map with randoms yet in like 3-4 tries lol. Nobody works together and nobody takes out gunners.

playing with bots is worse than randoms
Map is too long
