What you're looking for is an "Ogryn Charonite". Essentially Ogryn Space Marines that existed during the Horus Heresy. They were said to be so powerful the only one of the traitors that could take them on was Horus himself.

    • @BS-cc4ks
      @BS-cc4ks Год назад +1

@@oblivionfan345Tony The Charonites were cyborg Ogryn, not Ogryn Space Marines. Their enhancements were all mechanical. They were basically fleshy Admech assault robots. And they were, in all honesty, one of the examples that the modern Admech has improved upon the Golden Crusade era Admech, because Ogryn with Bonehead enhancements can be used for something more then suicide charges.

All Dorn had to do was put Charonnites in front of the palace gates to get Horus to show up there? Maybe Horus dealt with some at some point, if only for efficiencies' sake if nothing else, but it is a little bit absurd to claim that they required Horus attention.

    • @TheEyez187

I'm sure Auto/Las/Plasma [pistols]-cannons; bolter's could deal with them; even massed Las-fire. I'm not saying they're not a formidable foe; but if Horus was the only who could deal with them, the Solar Auxilia would obv. have numerous Primarch tier warriors... but units of them; think of it that and it certainly sounds absurd, more so, if you thought about it as high G evolution with 40K science and tech bale to be somewhat mass produced being comparable* to the Emperors knowledge, tech and warp shenanigan forged Primarchs.

So, minor correction to your lore: the 'men of stone' are most likely the distant ancestors of the Kin of the Leagues of Votann -- genetically engineered demi-humans with a low Warp presence meant to serve, along with their AI and robotic counterparts, as humanity's mining and exploration system in the galactic deep core. The term "men of stone" is probably a linguistic corruption over the eras, with the original term probably being closer to "mining clones".

Space Marine (no armor): 7.5+ and 1000lbs
Feats: they can carry 1300kg with ease
Hand to hand no armor, Ogryn eats a marine 7/10 times. Marines are very skilled and fast af but the strength difference is extreme. With armor 10/10 space marine no questions asked.

Little discussion between an Ogryn and a Veteran :
    - So... the Emperor is God, right ?
    - that's what the say the manual of the good little soldier, that's good enough for me.
    - That'd good to know we have God on our side, that means we can't lose !

I'm fascinated about the "Awakened Ogryn" mentioned, but I cant find any info on it. Only that Ursan Graves is in Heretics Hold with his peeps. Anyone know where the OP got the info on the experiments in Necrumunda?

2:45 - Whatever it was, it was hit for a home-run; it is out of there!!
10:10 - Right, like an Ogryn with a Maul... needs to have a POWER Maul, swapping enemy giblets for enemy red-mist!
14:25 - So, basically an Eversor Ogryn; terrifiying! >XD
Bought Darktide the other day, installed it, only to find my graphics card wasn't up to the job!! :(

I always thought the depiction of an Ogryn's stupidity was ridiculously exaggerated.

Essex, not Sussex, Essex is where all the sewage comes from. You would have thought that Ogryn would have evolved to become more intelligent in their harsh conditions. Surely it would make more sense that they became more inventive as a way of fighting off the harsh elements on their world.
