Its gets targeted by spaa instantly + using the drone gives 0 rp and sl for the drone user. If it gave rp for marking a tank within 10sec of it dying, then more people would use it.
@@karkinos5398 Wich BR are you playing at ? At BR 9 no one shoot these drone. And I personnaly never mark ennemies tank for the team, only for me (you have to use the squad marker). It's extremly useful.
Hello Loner: After carefully watching your videos (thank you for your videos!) and putting your advice into practice, I have achieved good results. But thinking about it, I have found another method that is faster and more precise, also using the Pythagorean theorem. In case it is useful to someone, I will explain it. The method consists of using the drone to measure the direct distance to the target while the drone passes directly over our tank at a certain height. That is: 1. We launch the drone and raise it to a height that allows us to have a good field of vision., for example, 500 meters. (We will call this data "A") 2. We locate the target and stabilize the aiming sight on the target. 3. We fly the drone directly above us, and when it passes overhead, we switch to the aiming sight and note the distance to the target, for example, 1,340 meters. (We will call this data "C") 4. Well, now we know the shorter cathetus (A) and the hypotenuse (C), so we only need to calculate the longer cathetus (which we will call "B"), which is the straight-line distance separating us from the target. 5. Using the Pythagorean theorem, the formula would be: B = √(C^2-A^2 ). In my example it would be: Distance to the target = √(1.340^2 - 500^2) = 1.243 meters To perform this calculation, I have created an Excel sheet where I only need to enter these two pieces of data: height (A) and distance from the drone to the target (C), and it gives me the distance from our vehicle to the target (B). It only takes me a few seconds. Although it may seem complicated, in reality, this system is simpler because there is no need to count the squares on the map or consider how much they measure in each battle. Greetings, and thanks again!
Guys! At 1:33 It was a mistake
Correct: Control -> Aircraft -> Designate a team target.
Thank you about tilt information, did not know that
The layout of this guide is soooo awesome I love how you showed where to go on the top left
Great video my man, thanks
Very clear information, thank you!
Very informative 💯
This is great! Only complaint is key bind recomendations.
Why so few people using recon drones ? This is so good, make you almost invincible in a scout vehicle.

how do we active that recon mark?
like what key binds?
Are you using a pythag theorem equation to get the distance between your tank and the target?
yes, I do

When I use my drone it doesn’t show me the distance does anyone know why?

Hi, I searched the control, ground target, and cannot find the keybind for designate target for team at all.
It is in aircraft control, that was my mistake
You can't recon like on a vehicle, but you can use Y + Ctrl to designate a target to everyone for 5 secondes.
👍👍
I don't have a option of "Designate a team target in ground vehicles"
it is in "aircraft"
@@loner1512 OO sorry i didn't saw it in comments thanks
One more question
Will we get money for scouting targets in warthunder?
yes
yes
The option to designate a team target does not appear, what can I do?

@@loner1512 thank you bro greetings from Argentina
I can't use squad marker on the drone😢
You have to set keybinds for it
