I use an XT2 still and TBH the photos it takes are more than enough for my product/food photography the colours i get gives us an edge over the comp and helps us stand of the crowd. ANd the lenses gives us a flavour that just can't be replicated in other systems.I like the "imperfect" look and so it seems our clients do too. And work in jpg as i just can't replicate the look reliably.

@@DeeRosa Food photography is a very Canon and Nikon orientated world, All looks the same TBH colour wise. I'd actually love it if fuji released another 16mp sensor with the same functions as today's cameras. I actually use the focus bracketing a lot saves me a bit of time.

My only complaint about the xpro3 is that I cannot shrink the display in the EVF like I can on my XT bodies. Other than that, it’s easily my favorite camera I’ve owned.
I set the iso to the front command dial and shutter speed to the rear command dial. When I shoot my kids I keep it in aperture priority. When I shoot families/events I go manual. Love the rear screen design. Another fun aspect is that it allows you to shoot it like a waist level finder and man that’s been clutch to help capture candids and different perspectives

Completely agree with everything you said. Coming from the Sony A7iii, I picked this up for fun and I ended up using it 100% of the time. The Sony is just sitting at home. Xpro3 is fast, fun AND professional like you said.

    • @DeeRosa

You held my breath all the way! I've had my X-Pro3 since it came out somewhere in Nov 2019. I do a lot and agree of what you emphasize. You re-affirmed what I've held for this x-pro line of cameras (I've had the pro1, & pro2 as well). I've had other Fuji's: X-T3, X-E line, but the Pro lines are my kind of stuff. With the OVF, I can track in real-time moving subjects like planes and birds with ease. I love the conviction in your presentation. Also with the XF35 F1.4 which I sold a few years ago, I am looking to take it back in my lens fleet again. Keep it going!

    • @DeeRosa

I really like the way you see this camera. Now I just shoot for myself. But same applies, maybe even more so. I still shoot with my X-Pro1, still going strong. If I upgrade, it will be for the better focuss peaking with manual glas, more option to customize your shot in camera (recipies etc) as I like jpeg and close to no editing afterwards. Maybe the better EVF is a nice to have as well. The XP1 is still great today, especially for personal, non paid work.
    Cheers from Switzerland 🇨🇭

  • @cevisuals
    @cevisuals 2 года назад +2

Ok - I will disagree with you about not having IBIS/shooting in low light. As a documentary photographer, both professionally and in my personal work, I shoot at times in marginal lighting at best. When I shot Olympus, that IBIS came into its own in many instances - where I could hand hold down to 1/2 second and get tack sharp images. Having switched to non IBIS bodies (I currently shoot with a pair of XE-2's and fast fuji primes) I've felt a little out of my comfort zone in this area but I've had to tell myself that before I had switched to Olympus in 2015, I also had no IBIS and go back further to my days of shooting film. When did I become so lazy as to rely upon technology is what I"m saying to myself as I'm watching this video. SO maybe I"m not disagreeing with you as much as I thought but I will say, in certain situations, IBIS is not just a gimmick or convenience... it has saved me more times than I can count, but at what point does it become a crutch - and that's the conclusion I've come to as I finish my comment

  • @eliaspap8708

Interesting camera thanks for the insight My last 3 shoots have been in low light, I do a lot of Baptisms and Bar
mitzva and in usually dark churches etc,
The Xpro 3 would be a great edition but for one small problem,. I have just falling in love with the XT4! And I have realised how important IBiS is for me. It’s a game changer. I use my 90mm F2 a lot it’s most of my creative shots and captures all the intermittent moments and close up head shots. Having IBIs means I can shoot in low light using reasonable iso and shutter combo which results in clean and really sharp images. and I mean 100% of all my images are really sharp. This was Never the case with my older Xt3 I would have to pump up my iso to 6400 or higher to get sharper images but then noise would be an issue.
I can’t praise the XT4 any higher. It’s really helped with my image quality a lot.

However, I think people without that background in film would find it worth their while if they would give it a chance. Certainly you have identified its real uses, vs. a DSLR style camera.) My only concern on the XPro3's dials is the exposure compensation dial. It gets moved too easily. I find I have to remind myself to keep track of it before any shooting.Question. XH1 or probably best bang for your buck but the X-T3 is something that get you a little nudge of Bette performance that you may enjoy.

@@Zelanias not sure I understand your question? But in my statement I said I’ve become dependent on ibis in my m4/3 cameras.

@@WhoIsSerafin ahh i did not understand the " who has used 4/3 cameras ... " - i thought you meant 4 or 3 cameras (and was very confused hehe). Thanks for the reply and clarification. I would like to buy xpro3 but the lack of ibis scares me so im thinking maybe xt4 would be better. But i dont know if it would be as *fun*. Since people say xpro3 is alot of fun and interesting. :D

    Don't do reviews bro,
You are wrong on so many levels.
    Who need ibis?
    No camera for street?
You are responsible for your costumer's, they need to look great and if you notice something wrong you need to point that out so that they look as best as possible.

I’m probably just better at photography than you cause I don’t need ibis to get a shot. Maybe my reviews are better for people who don’t suck. Get better.

      Read my comment again,
You miss lead people with your statements.
Tell your costumer's you don't shoot with IBIS bc your a pro and that you don't care how they look :)
They will for sure come back to you and hier you again lol

Again maybe I’m just better than you - because my images don’t look bad without ibis. You probably don’t know how shutter speed works. Or what a tripod is. Or how to use off camera flash. That’s the only reason you’d rely on ibis. Sad when people who don’t take the time to learn and become talented take shortcuts and try to give horrible advice. You should work on your skill instead of commenting. Maybe then you’d get client.

This is way easier for me that on an SLR style like the XT3.

I agree. IBIS is nice for video and panning slow shutter speed shots. Definitely not needed for regular photography. If you need to handhold 1/10th a second your model definitely moved in that time. LOL.

People don't understand that ibis doesn't help if your subject has movement 😂😂
