Sarah, can you make a video on your favorite horror movie of each year you've been alive?
i second this!!!!!!
🤞
Yessss this would be so cool
you’re a genius
awesome idea!!!
I’m so ready to get traumatized by whatever happens in final destination bloodlines and I like the different premise they are using to set up the story.
I would love Horror News to be more regular thing on the channel!
the unknown movie is going to be like the willy Wonka experience. People show up expecting something and leaving shocked and scammed 😂😭
I’m actually hyped that Final Destination 6 has a brand new cast that is not well known, it gives chances for new faces and it just shows that directors and producers believe in them and the story and that they didn’t use popular faces to catch the attention
Elijah Wood in Sin City is one of the most terrifying roles ive ever watched. He can do horror so im excited for The Monkey
He was also in the Maniac remake
you’re literally my comfort youtuber!! thank you for the videos 🫶🏼
the wonka is so random like first pooh then this? girl
I'm anxiously waiting for Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein!
I'm also excited to see Christian Bale as The Monster in Maggie Gyllenhaal's Frankenstein.
The pics look very good.
Jessie Buckley as The Bride should be great, too.
Micky17 sounds like Moon with Sam Rockwell
so so excited for leigh whannell’s wolfman
Definitely on my top list
Absolutelyyy. He went so above and beyond adapting and reinventing The Invisible Man, he should get a chance to interpret alllll of the classic monsters.
Can Hollywood really not come up with any ideas that they have to wait for some failed convention to go viral so they can make a movie??
who says the filmmakers are from hollywood?
Honestly, I would love a horror movie based on Dashcon 😂
makes me wonder how many imaginative and original screenplays get rejected :(
i’m actually SO excited about ready or not 2 - what happened to the family fortune? what about the other branches of the family? they mentioned in the movie that failure to play or not in the game ended in tragedy previously so how does the extended family react? what does grace do next, and how does she handle the trauma? how does she go on living her life? there are so many fun and interesting they could delve into.
As a black and white horror/monster movie collector and enthusiast YES! Werewolf movies are definitely underrated but they just don't grab people by the face like they used to 🤷♂
your videos are so fun and cozy to watch, great source of entertainment/movie news
thank you that’s such a nice compliment 😭
As a fellow Bong Joon-ho fanatic, I am so excited to see that Mickey 17 has a new release date. I've been dying these last five years waiting for his next movie and I was gutted when it was removed from the release calendar for this year. I was starting to worry that it might be one of those films that never gets released.
I love the 80’s. A lot of us feel nostalgia for 80s entertainment. And why not? The hooks were strong - in the music and the movies. Plus, no cell phones, things were simpler, life was just better.
I also think that we need more werewolves (not Jacob), vampires have had their moment as well as zombies but werewolves Jane been a little left behind. I’m always excited to see a new Robert Pattinson movie. I’m curious if you’re going to watch The First Omen, it’s been described as a twin movie to Immaculate with an eerily similar plot
Love the Horror News episodes!
Greetings from Bulgaria 🇧🇬!
6:31 the young actor (the third one on top) was in chucky series season 1. (his character was such a brat :D)
11:28 noo, poor don, you renamed him to dan :DD
Came to the comments to see if anyone corrected the Dan mistake because that was bothering me more than it should’ve lol
I’m optimistic that horror is turning a leaf and being legitimately scary again
I love Fearstreet ❤ I can’t wait ❤
I thought that the 2000’s Chocolat factory movie was already a horror movie 😅 I’ve watched when I was a kid, and it still gives me the creeps.
My most anticipated releases:
2024 - Maxxxine, Terrifier 3, Saw XI, Alien Romulus, Nosferatu, A Quiet Place Day One, Nightbitch (if that counts lol)
2025 - FD Bloodlines, Wolf Man, M3GAN 2.0, Del Toro's Frankenstein, The Bride, Jordan Peele's new movie and Ari Aster's Eddington (he's technically always does some type of horror)
SARAH! I just now learned about American Werewolf being among your favorites too & I agree!
We need more practical effects werewolf movies.
Can we please get a video on your favorite werewolf horror? 🥹🥹
I am so beyond tired of 80s being the favorite, the 2000s are what most millennials and gen x romanticize these days, give us that!!
No! The 90s are the best. In all due respect
gen z is loving “2000s” fashion right now
I agree. It’s part of what makes the show PEN15 so great. It’s not horror but I definitely recommend it if you want nostalgia from the late 90s and early 2000s
Not really. The 80s was the best time for music & for movies. That’s when all the big franchises really started … starting. No technology, people actually went outside & went to malls & actually went outside to hang out with their friends & go places. Now everybody’s on their phones & iPads & whatnot. That started happening in the 2000s. Back then people were more communicative unlike the rise of technology in the early 2000s
@@jmcg2165no. With all due respect
Love when you do these! 🤍
70’s & 80’s Horror is the absolute Best for me!
I'm so excited for Wolfman and I have a huge feeling that Leigh is going to nail it, just as he did with Upgrade and The Invisible Man. January 17th is also his birthday which his kinda cool!
ahhh im early! love you Sarah my fave comfort youtuberrrr 🖤
I’ve been waiting for the new Final Destination for SO LONG. Hearing recently that they announced the cast and the name was NOT what I wanted. I wanted to hear that it’s coming next month!
Finally willywonka horror movie 🎬 I've been wanting to see something like this glad someone made one.
That’s crazy
It’s a not a Willy Wonka horror movie though, it’s just based on that crazy Wonka-themed event
It's not though, it's just the Unknown
Hey, I have that necklace also! I love it! Are you a hermit also? I’m an introverted therapist, so it just fits. ❤
suuper excited for another final destination..hopefully they mix it up this time. annnd Black Mirror new season!!
You are the best-- thank you!
yay more black mirror!!
smile 2 was just announced the other day
Fear Street I can't wait
Ooooo I’m so excited for another fear street I feel like we don’t get enough fear street stuff
Would love to see you review The First Omen!
I’m confused why fear street prom queen would be set in the 80s when the book came out in 1992? I am excited to see it though, i really liked the fear street trilogy
Its the 'Star Trek' Black Mirror episode that's getting a sequel in the new season.
What are your thoughts on Neve Campbell returning for Scream 7?
Fear Street is so cute omg!
Maybe the focus for ready or not 2 will be another family and now Weaving’s tasked with ending them all although her character gives the idea that she wouldn’t want to be bothered afterwards-i really don’t how they’ll make it compelling enough for a sequel since the original was already a fun watch🥴
Review the first omen! ❤❤
if we actually end up getting that willy wonka movie i will be very surprised.
The black mirror repeat of the new season is suppose to be a part 2 of USS Callister
An American Werewolf is still a pioneer in fx. They used makeup and the werewolf body was an animatronic I think?? It has some frightening moments but it's also darkly hilarious. More practical werewolves would be epic!!!
Ready or not: bloodlines
Child’s Play: Bloodlines
bestie noooo😭 his name is don not dan
Well Kane pixels is making the Backrooms movie with A24 and he is very talented, definitely for me it's the most anticipated horror movie cuz I just love liminal spaces
More news videos please!!
Snowpiercer is probably one of the best films ever made.
watch the og suspiria!!
i’m just rooting for ‘a head full of ghosts’ finally getting made like it’s got robert downey jr as a producer so hoping it’ll actually happen
Teo Briones plays Devon Sawas son in Chucky.
you NEED to finish sopranos. minor horror elements in tony’s dreams
I appreciate you doing these videos since I love your content and I don't use Twitter or X or any of those apps. Dbd Chucky I love Chucky I'll always be excited for Chucky
I'm looking forward to Child's Play, at this point it's the most consistent franchise continuity-wise, and it's always a lot of fun. When the show started I was worried about it messing with the possibility of future movies, so I'm hoping it doesn't need too much knowledge of the show to enjoy, even though I love the show too.
I am most looking forward to Final Destination. It is kind of cheesy now but when it first came out people had so many new fears unlocked lol I still rewatch the series to this day.
I literally got a Wonka ad on this video lmao
If you haven’t seen Stopmotion, please please do!! By far the best horror film I’ve seen this year and know you will LOVE it.
Will you be reviewing The First Omen? I’m curious because it does have some content that might deter you. Lots of weird, potentially disturbing pregnancy stuff.
Hi new subscriber. Not sure if you take recommendations for movies, if not just ignore. Have you seen Skeleton Key? Would love to hear your thoughts. I know its an older one, but still would love to know what you think.
I’m interested to see ready or not 2, could be horrible but curious.
Final destination : Bloodline : I only remember Richard Harmon (actor on the centre right)from The 100 😅
Hey, possessed by horror
Hey!
@@PossessedbyHorrorhey I love horror films I love Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers
Wait what 😮
Mickey17 is a book in case you want to read the book first! (Mickey7 by Edward Ashton) Niflheim comes from Norse mythology. I haven't read it yet, but it sounds great! The adaptation too.
ooh I think I might!
thanks for the heads up, I'm going to check it out
@@chetplease happy reading!
@@LilTheLah yeah I found it online and have it now. do you recommend the book?
@@chetplease As I've said, I haven't read it yet unfortunately. But I do own it 😂 It's been sitting on my shelves for some time now and I should pick it up... It is pretty short, too, so I do not think it will take too long to get through.
Have you seen Maniac with Elijah Wood? That's a creepy one for sure.
ahahah "why we gotta be set in 1988...." 12:26 we have the same opinion tbh
Have you ever seen the movie Wer? Really good werewolf movie, one of my favorites along with American Werewolf in London, The Howling and Dog Soldiers. It's a bit of a different take, but really well done.
The Chucky movie news confuses me. The TV show is still ongoing (and I really enjoy it). New episodes are literally airing now, and they’re hoping for another season, which I think they’ll get because it’s pretty successful. So we’re getting a Chucky movie and more episodes, and they’re both revolved around the same story and characters? I just feel like that’s unnecessary and confusing. At least wrap the tv show up before making movies based on the tv show, or just keep making new episodes without a movie. It’s very odd.
What I'm used to from the anime world is that some story arcs may be more suited for movie. I didn't hear that the show had come back but maybe that's what's going on?
the chucky movies are my special interest so even though they’re cheesy i hope Don continues making them til the day i die 😭
Looking forward to see Elijah Wood in an other horror movie!
What do you think of “Abigail?”
before announcing the new movie Don Mancini said that he was thinking about sending chucky to space so that could be... interesting (maybe?) 🤔🤔
There's a toy monkey in the forbidden room with Annabelle in it along with all the other cursed artifacts
please god don’t make be another Conjuring movie 😭
5:24 I’d literally pay $20-$25/ticket to see Final Destination 5 in IMAX
Why set in the 80s? Because it was the most recent era that was almost completely mobile phone free. Communication is so easy these days that you have to jump through hoops to explain why somebody can't get help. The 80s makes it so easy
Can you react and or break down the trailer for Maxine
11:35 lol yes we do 😍 we most definitely need another Chucky movie, preferably he goes into space
Oh brother not everything needs to be a movie why the wonka movie
literally why
girl... why was my toddler spelling out B L O O D L I N E S ??? 😭😭 i was like "stop! that is not Ms Rachel!" 😭😭
You look beautiful with that 2 shirts outfit Sarah
😢
By Monster do you mean Mother or The Host?
omg the Host my bad
I wouldn't say religious horror is in right now, but i think what's in is the horror related to motherhood.
The 2010 Wolfman was far better than it gets credit for… I hope the 2025 will be decent and not just a rehash or a change so dramatic that it shouldn't be called “The Wolfman” I.e. The Tom Cruise The Mummy.
Is the wonka movie going to be entirely made with a.i.?
I'm sick of Wan and scary toys. What I'm NOT sick of is Elijah Wood, and King has some good stuff that hasn't been touched before soooo I'm down.
The thing with King's works is that he sells the rights for dirt cheap, allowing IP experimentation without having to throw a ton of money at it. I'm hoping that Wan as producer will be sort of along the lines of Cameron producing Cloverfield Lane. Although I worry that his version of the Cloverfield monster will just be lame jump scares...
Maggie Gyllenhal is directing a new take on The Bride of Frankenstein with Christian Bale and Jessie Buckley and it looks like that could be interesting.
Hollywood has always made adaptations of well known authors and all these Stephen King movies always seem so different. Plus at least some writer is hopefully getting some money if they could cut someone out all together they would so it may as well be Stephen King.
Don Mancini, not Dan Mancini...and I'll watch anything with Chucky if Brad Dourif voices him :).
Ok so PLEASE, when you're feeling utterly ridiculous, make a review of Howling 2, Your Sister is a Werewolf. It was made in 1985....maybe use it in some scene comparisons with American Werewolf in London. I swear, Howling 2 is the FUNNIEST damn thing!
Omg Stephen king ❤❤ I love most of his movies
There making another chucky movie because, I mean, who doesn't want more? Plus we haven't gotten an actuaI movie in years, ain't counting the remake, but I mean yea brad is getting up there with age and now being in his 80s now, but his daughter can do the voice of chucky really well
I mean shit Don Mancini even said that "if fans want chucky to go to space, chucky will go to space" hope to god he's kidding, p.s one of the cast members in final destination 6 was from the tv series of chucky his name is teo briones he played jr in season 1
