This is the recommendation video I’ve been looking for! I love it when it’s actually a ghost and not the scooby doo moment of a man in a mask 😂

Haha exactly! I'm glad you found it helpful and lol so agree. If you're going to claim that it's haunted or a ghost, it better be haunted or a ghost

I LOVED Horrorstor- Basil was my favorite character. It's such a fun book and I'm glad I got the physical copy because its so cool! I'm also a HUGE DC fan and I haven't read Craven Manor yet so I need to check that out. Great video!

Thank you! Glad you also loved Horrorstor. Haha I know it has some mixed opinions but its such an odd book and I absolutely love it for that. And yes! The mixed media elements are very cool

I love supernatural stories. Anything from anime with magic to horror movies where creepy things happen. Over the past decade, I've tried to get back into book reading, but haven't found anything interesting. For example, I wanted to read a book about angels and I searched amazon books for the word "angels." I read one of the books but it was kind of boring. I thought to myself, "Well, maybe I'm just not into reading anymore like I used to be back in the 90s." That was like a year ago. But now I want to try again! I've been accumulating a giant list of books to read from videos like yours here, that I've been watching over the past weekend. A lot of these sound interesting!
The House across the lake sounds fascinating! I'll add that to my amazon list of stuff to buy. Although part of me feels weird about the idea of reading it-as if I'm already spying on the family across the lake, even though it's just fiction. but from your description, I feel like I can feel the main character's feelings and experiences already!
I'm not sure what gothic horror is, so I'll get that Horrid book, just to find out. I'm not a goth person or anything, but who knows-maybe I'll like that genre! :D Also, I have no idea what a "YA story" is, but yeah I'll find out soon!
These sound great! Thank you! I'm excited to start reading again. I'll order some, soon. Hmm, I should probably buy a bookshelf....

Eucalyptus oil on a cotton bud for sticky residue 😊😊. Worked in an art store and struggled to get tag residue off and my boss told me about it 😂

I liked this list. There's so much variety in horror (or any genre but anyway). I want a good mysterious supernatural situation. I'll check these out, thanks!

I'm definitely going to check out And The Trees Crept In!
I'm currently reading Salvaged by Madeleine Roux, it's a sci-fi horror and i'm really enjoying it.
I also have A Good House for Children by Kate Collins pre-ordered (don't know if it's real ghosts or not)

Hi Shar, have you ever read any James Herbert, He wrote a book called the ghosts of sleath, its about a mass hauting in a small english villiage, it a follow on from another book called Haunted, which is about a haunted house.
I loved Craven manor, not scary, but a fab story.
Also Shar do you ready Indy horror?

@@sharreadsallday the ghosts of sleath one of the few books that creep me out, I was 16 when i read it. The villiage is hidden away in the chilton hills, a group of hill which run about 20 miles north of London. So not to far from where I live😊
