Girlyy, you weren't being dramatic at ALL. Everyone's got something or other going onin their heads. I, like you, am working get to that point where the state of my skin is no longer tied to my self worth/esteem. It's my first time coming across a creator who's fighting similar skin battles as me and it makes me feel a little less alone💕💕💕. I watched the video on how you recovered ur skin barrier because of my similar issues but this is the one that made me subscribe😊. I've been loving your content so far and hope you grow so more people know about you and that you achieve your skin goals🫶🏼🫶🏼

Ughh… thank you for being so vulnerable. I’m 42 and still struggle with acne. I teared up when you teared up. I’ve learned that I break out when my skin barrier is compromised. But I get excited to use new products and then go down this vicious cycle. You’re so beautiful!

Thanks so much for this video!! Love your openness and vulnerability and your content is really relatable. I aspire to starting a RUclips channel and something that’s held me back is actually insecurity about my skin 😅
So thanks for showing your journey

Michelle, I recommend using the COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream after using their snail essence. I use it at night, and my skin feels so hydrated in the morning.

I have very bad hormonal acne + combo skin and I swear by the brand Vanicream! Such basic ingredients and great for sensitive skin! I use the cleanser and thick face cream ❤

I have rosacea and idk, I understand the idea of being positive but I don't find jt helpful to tell myself it's normal. It isn't and it took me 23 years to realize that it was not normal, until someone pointed out that I look like I have rosacea. I had never even heard of it. It isn't normal and it sucks. But whatever, it is what it is, just gotta find ways to deal with it.

I currently have a very basic skincare routine I'm looking into adding a serum.

There are lots of serums out there that target specific things. :) Do you know what kind of serum you're looking for?

Hey, no need to do any of that. If I show you what my face used to look like you would scream. I didn’t realise I was one of those who are super allergic to sugar. People used to ask me all the time why my face looks the way it did. I was depressed and searched far and wide for answers, 6 years later I realised when I consume sugary food; carbohydrates (bread, pasta, rice, noodles, crackers, cereals, fruits, such as apples, bananas, berries, mangoes, melons, and oranges, dairy products, such as milk and yogurt.) my acne got worse by the day and when I cut it out for just 2 weeks my acne reduced by 50% I was shocked. After a month of consistent keto diet i went from cystic acne to baby clear skin…… WTF. The only problem is that cutting out carbs is hard cos it’s everywhere so you gotta figure out good keto diets and keto foods to eat at restaurants. Right now I’m pretty much living on chicken doner kebab with burger sauce, it’s just chicken with a bit of oil and burger sauce so not that inflammatory compares to most foods. But because it’s only about 70% keto I regulate it with pore strips. I have a cheat day every Friday where I go crazy on carbs!! This is the best I could do to keep my sanity. You are what you eat. Thank me later!
